Just run as far away from this company as you possibly can! DO NOT HIRE THESE CLOWNS! I hired them to re-roof my dad's flat roof and instead of fixing the leak they only made it worst. I was rushed to make the final payment and these assholes didn't even close the permit out with the city. They did not flash the flat and slope roofs correctly and they used something cheap to hold the membranes together. Now the seems are coming apart and the leaks are back. Not even a year went by and the leaks came back, they tried to blame the roof valley for causing the leak - but I had roofing professionals come out and look and were shocked at what they saw. DO NOT trust these CON-ARTIST (AKA Eslin and Tony) Martinez) they use cheap materials and are sloppy. THEY HAVE NO STANDARDS AND ARE LOOKING TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK AT THE HOMEOWNERS EXPENSE. BEWARE

This company pulled a permit to install a new roof on my home in February of 2019. I purchased the house in May of 2019. In November of 2020 my roof sprung a leak. The company website advertises a 2 year repair warranty and 5 year re-roofing warranty. I called them to repair the leak. The owner Eslin Martinez came to my home. He confirmed that I had a roof leak and said that it is likely caused by a nail and was an easy fix.

Although, I am still within the 2 year repair warranty timeframe. The owner refuses to complete the repairs under the contract because he says he did not sign a contract with me. He wants me to pay $500 for the repair. SO BEWARE. If you have and issue with this company's workmanship they will find any excuse not to fix it. This company does not guarantee their work they only guarantee their contract.

If you are flipping or selling a house you should ensure that this company will not do the same thing to your buyer.

The roof over our front door entrance was leaking. Our roof is 24 years old. I called Eslin Martinez, owner of Shield Proof Roofing, after our electrician recommended him on a Friday. He came out on that Saturday and explained the issue and what he would do to fix it.

I had another company provide me their analysis of our situation. They said the issue was much larger and that I should just replace the entire roof since it was so old.

I elected to use Eslin Martinez. He came out and fixed the issue the next day that it was not raining. They were very professional and cleaned up all of their debris. We have not had an issue with the leak since.

I contacted Shield Proof Roofing and was pleased that the phone was answered by Mr. Eslin Martinez, the owner of the company . He came by the very next day and gave us a quote that was very competitive( I received approximately ten different quotes from other roofing companies ).

I was in desperate need of a new roof because my insurance company did not allow us to renew with them so I needed to get a four point inspection.

Unfortunately, six years ago I got a new roof with a person that misrepresented himself under another person contractor license number. The roof was not completed according to the plan submitted to the city and therefore did not pass the final inspection. The previous person gave me the run around for SIX years every time coming back for more money!!! To say that I was nervous about hiring the wrong contractor is a major understatement. I had so much anxiety about the whole situation that this time around I did my homework. I contacted over twenty companies, I asked for references, read reviews, compared pricing and verified contractor license information.

After meticulous consideration I decided to hire Shield proof roofing for the job. Eslin kept me informed during the the entire process, kept my yard clean from roofing materials, and the entire job from beginning to end took about a week. The inspector came the day after the roof was completed and it passed the inspection from the city of Tamarac.

What a great experience!!! I highly recommended Shield Proof Roofing to anybody that needs this get their roof on a timely basis and wants to get great service at an affordable price.

Me puse en contacto con Shield Proof Roofing y me alegré de que el Sr. Eslin Martínez, el propietario de la empresa, respondiera el teléfono. Llegó al día siguiente y nos dio una cotización que fue muy competitiva (recibí aproximadamente diez cotizaciones diferentes de otras compañías de techos).

Necesitaba desesperadamente un nuevo techo porque mi compañía de seguros no nos permitía renovar con ellos, por lo que necesitaba una inspección de puntos.

Desafortunadamente, hace seis años obtuve un nuevo techo con una persona que se representó incorrectamente bajo el número de licencia de otro contratista. El techo no se completó de acuerdo con el plan presentado a la ciudad y, por lo tanto, no pasó la inspección final. ¡La persona anterior me dio la vuelta por SEIS años cada vez que regresaba por más dinero! Aweful service and incompetence. These people are not professionals. My roof leaked the first day they repaired it and still continues to leak after they returned 8 TIMES!!!! Consumer beware!

Bad experience. Company comes out quickly and is not expensive but you get what you pay for. Sloppy job and missing shingles, and then the company repeatedly promised to come back and fix things but refused to return.
