Tom, the owner was punctual, honest and a man of his word. He gave us a quote that was fair and without hidden costs. His foreman, Kyle, was incredibly attentive and great to work with. The roofing crew, Felix, Victor, Morgan and the others arrived early each day, worked hard and did a great job.

This company was recommended to us by local Livermore residents and my better half and I are very happy with the job they performed. We went with the CertainTeed Presidential TL shingle (Autumn Blend color) and as you can see by the photos in this review, it completely transformed our 1960's era ranch home. At the end of the job, the crew did a very detailed clean-up!

Sherman Roofing is the best! Tom and team worked on our home's tile roof and wood fascia repairs and did an incredible job. Competitively priced and very professional from start to finish. His team was friendly, on time, and go above and beyond to do a great job. Couldn't be happier with the final result. I don't know whats up with this roofing company. I guess I upset them because I had to delay my scheduled estimate time by a couple of hours. They were supposed to come out after 11:00 on Wednesday but the owner called and asked if he could come on Thursday at 8:30 am. Sure, no problem I said. By 10:30 am no one showed up. So my wife calls, left a message and someone calls back and says, OH I have you scheduled for Friday at 8:30. OK, no big deal to me. So Friday 8:30, 9:30 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, no one showed up and no phone call................or anything. Pfffffff whats this world coming to? Guess I'll sit out front of Home Depot and find someone who actually wants to work.

I did meet Tom for an initial quote (liked him, and I'm sure the reviews about his work quality are correct), but the estimate was higher than I wanted to pay. It included some items that went beyond the basic repair I needed, so I asked for a revised quote with a reduced scope of work. No response to any of my emails over a couple weeks, so I just gave up and went with another company. I would have understood if my job was just too small, or Tom was too busy with other jobs, but still would expect a response to my multiple emails.
