BEWARE!!! Manager and Foreman have extensive arrest records !!! Check workers with local jail records, FDLE and US Marshalls records, NAME SEARCH!!! After only 1 month, new metal roof leaking. Sheppards refused to come to fix leak. 4 months roof still not done, and still leaking. Constant cancellation or no show from Sheppards. Also, homeowners demanded Sheppard's FOREMAN of the project removed from property due to threats against homeowner for making complaint to Robert Sheppard (Owner) and misconduct towards homeowners while on property. If foreman returns he is Trespassed and arrested once again. Homeowner had to request manufacturer to meet on property to direct Sheppards on how to install a metal roof correctly, read and comprehend ALL instructions. As shown, Sheppards chose to cut corners to ensure a higher profit at the expense of the installation. In doing so the roof FAILED in all ALL ASPECTS OF INSTALLATION. Homeowners reported to County & State licensing boards, BBB and FRSA. All County and State Officials FAILED Sheppards Inspection of roof. County still waiting for manufacturer's instructions & paperwork requested from David Sheppard on 12/8/ 2015. February, County officials were able to find instructions online and determined Sheppard Roofing did not install per manufacturer's instructions. They were found to have used incorrect materials, did not use specified materials in specified areas, did not secure metal panels per instructions. Polk County Building officials and State Licensing Board as well as Manufacturer of materials found Sheppard Roofing installed the roof incorrectly, did not use all proper materials as stated in manufacturers instructions and four months later the roof is still not completed, still leaking. Sheppard Roofing still threaten the homeowners with lawsuit for breech of contract and slander as they feel they have any form of case with the extensive errors found by all officials due to Sheppard's incompetence and inept ability to install per County, State and Manufacturer's Codes and Instructions. Sheppard Roofing has yet to complete roof, and consistently NOW SHOW or CANCEL appointments and try to state the homeowners will not let them complete. DO NOT USE !!!! Check with COUNTY BUILDING INSPECTORS as well as State and Local Law Enforcement Agencies!!!

Please don't give these people any business. Called for an appointment to fix my leaky roof. Was called by David on Thursday and told he would be there Friday at 10 am. At 945 I missed a call from him stating he was running late and would be there at 1030. I quickly called him back and got his voicemail. I left a message stating that I couldn't wait til then as I had a sick child to pick up from school. He proceeds to call me at 1030 from my driveway claiming he just got the message. I told him I was only 15 min away but he asked if he could run up the street and be right back. This was at 1030 am. At 1245 if finally hear from him and he said he was on his way. At 215 he is still not there and now I have to pick up my other children from school. He contacts me and apologized and said he would be there Saturday. Never shows up but says he will be there Sunday for sure. Nope. Never shows up. Was supposed to come Monday. I was so pissed off at this point that I called the office to talk to a manger. Low and behold he is an owner. Shocking. I tell the lady on the phone that I will be writing a bad review and that I will no longer need him to come to my house. 10 min later David called me asking what the problem was. As I began to inform him in a loud voice I will admit he proceeded to tell me to F#%k off. Great business you all are running over there. I would only call them if you want to get lied too and belittled.
