We went to three other roofing companies and were most impressed with the honesty of Joe who came out and their reasonable quote. But most of all was their service. Our roof leaked twice after they came out the first time, and they fixed each minor leak immediately.
Make sure you ask for Joe at extension 16. When our complex has our roofing redone in 8 years, we are definitely going to have Shelton do the re-roofing for our 23 units.

Working with Sean and his Team was a pleasure and we are pleased with the results. Our specific situation involved arranging for a new roof for my mother-in-law which added an element of coordination since I visit only monthly. Called Shelton back in July to fix our leaky tile roof; Steve came out and discussed the problem and gave an estimate a few days later. Shelton was booked up after the heavy winter rains, and managed to fit in the rood tile repair in mid-October. Pedro (the tile guy) came out as scheduled, and quickly identified the issue. He took some nice photos with cell phone, reviewed the problem and fix with me and finished up same day. Surprise rain this week - everything nice and dry! Thanks Shelton!

We had our roof replaced by Shelton Roofing in Mountain View and had Sean L. as their rep. I was very happy with the job. The cost came very close to the estimate, the job was completed quickly, and they were very responsive regarding fixing small touch up items found during the last walk around.

I have to echo Mike G's review of this company. I've called these guys repeatedly to fix the same leak, over and over again. They keep charging me and telling me it's fixed, but the next time it rains it's leaking from the same place again. They've been here at least 4 times now to fix this exact same leak, but it's worse now than ever before. I finally have the funds to replace my entire roof, and I'm calling every roofer in the greater bay area... except these guys.

My flat roof is 5 years old and started leaking during one of the recent storms. Shelton sent out Steve (an estimator). When he saw where the water was leaking, he suspected some of the drains in the flat roof (the roof is complicated), but he said that he had some doubts because the roof was relatively new. That afternoon he emailed me a bid to repair the drains. When I accepted the bid, he scheduled his roofer, Ernie for the following week. Ernie came out and conducted several water tests and found the leak. It was near the drains, but he pinpointed the problem to one of the vents which hadn't been sealed properly. He spent the next 2 hours properly sealing all of the vents and other penetrations on the flat root (we have solar panels installed). I was impressed with his thoroughness. Today I received the final bill from Steve. He revised the final amount downward because Ernie didn't end up redoing the drains as Steve had estimated. Quality and honesty!

I'm very pleased working with Sean at Shelton Roofing in Mountain View. I had a leak in my roof and Sean came out to look at the possible cause. He said they were very busy with big projects but if I could wait a few weeks, he can try and squeeze my job between a major job. I was very happy when he called a couple weeks later to let me know he can do my repair.

After a rain, there was still a minor leak and Sean sent a repairman out and fixed it for good. I was extremely with their responsiveness despite very heavy workload on their part.
