John responded to my yelp request quickly. After talking to him, he came out the same day, assessed the problem, said he could do it and was off to Home Depot for the parts. Came back that afternoon and repaired the dry rot on the exterior of my door the same day. I was very satisfied with the job and John had me check everything as he went. I would hire him again.

I was looking forward to meeting with John regarding a kitchen remodel. Through email, we set up a date and time. Unfortunately, the time came and went and John didn't show. I contacted him and he said he didn't have me listed on his calendar (although his email stated he put me on his calendar) and that he was in Washington. Very disappointing.

We moved to Rocklin in June of 2016. By October we filed our first home insurance claim. The first rain revealed a roofline leak causing interior damage. The local roof contractor referred us to John Shaver construction for the interior repairs. After two estimates, we contracted with John.

The repair work was excellent. He replaced drywall, repaired carpet added new wood trim on closet and painted. In fact, the quality of his work encouraged us to add similar upgrades to the hallway and two bedrooms. For his final work we contracted for major upgrades to a 3/4 bath and master bath. All new install, except for a bathtub and shower tile surround that John suggested would simply need re-grouting. We couldn't be more pleased with the result.

Working with John was a smooth collaboration. He managed each project hands on with attention to detail. He always prepped the workspace to avoid a mess and never left one at the end of the day. He answered all of our questions, offered advice and did some trouble shooting along the way.

We highly recommend his services. His years of experience are clearly evident in his work.
