I am just starting out on updating my parents house to sell, and I wanted to see how much a new roof would cost. The roof now is not very old, but it's the old style shake. I made an appointment for Saturday between 1-2pm. I ran an errand and when I pulled in my driveway, he was already here a few minutes early. John was professional, personable and HONEST! He knew that the roof wasn't that old and told me I don't need a new roof to sell the home. It has another 30+ years left in it. He also gave me a contact for a roof inspector that he's known for many years. I will refer anyone asking for a roofing company to Shadowfax Roofing. Thank you John, you made my day!

I cannot begin to say enough great things about this company. Jerry is a true pleasure to work with from beginning to end. He checks in and is personable and honest. He goes the extra mile to make sure the job is done correctly and his follow up is outstanding. His crew did an excellent job. They were timely, clean, polite, hard working. Our job was finished on time and looks amazing. Even though the roof is finished, Jerry still is checking in regarding some touch up work and finishing it up. His persistence to have a perfect end product is great. I got a quote from a big shop and Shadowfax was comparable yet I know that the customer service from them is way better than I would have gotten elsewhere. Highly recommend to anyone!!

We recently had our roof replaced by Shadowfax. We choose to go with company after having them do some minor repairs last year. Don, who did the repairs was a delight to work with and we decided to replace our 30 plus year roof this year. Knowing Don would be the project manager helped us make the decision. They may not be the cheapest roofing company, but there is nothing cheap about their workmanship and follow-through. There were 2 layers of roofing and it was a messy job, but the team, under Vicente and Don's direction did a thorough clean up. The new venting and low-e wrap they provided has made an immediate difference in the temperature in the house. The roof looks beautiful and we are extremely satisfied.

Call and talk to a lady on the phone. Told her I am looking for chimney flashing repair. She said the repair manager is very busy but I can leave a voicemail for him to call back to discuss the job. After leaving my name and phone number in the voicemail, wait for 2 days and never got a response. It seems like they don't care about doing these small job.

Shadowfax put a new roof on our house four years ago. No problems whatsoever; very competitive pricing.
A couple of weeks ago the guy cleaning our gutters indicated that a rain cap had blown off one of the vents. I called Jerry. He fixed it in a few days. No charge, and I am sure the missing rain cap was not his fault.
Definitely a company to go to.

Very rarely can I say any contractor working on my house can be described as having integrity but I will say they have really surprised me. They gave us a great deal six months ago and when I had a leak they did not hesitate to come back. They investigated it and fixed it immediately without asking for any payment. Wow.

I am writing this review about their honesty. I recently bought a house, and my home inspector thought the roof was at the end of this useful life. I asked John to come out to give us an estimate. John was very professional and very knowledgeable. After inspecting the roof, according to John, there were many useful years left on our roof, and the roof does not need to be replaced anytime soon. He even showed me how to inspect the roof myself. John saved my day.

I will definitively ask them in the future for my roof repair and replacement.

The roof looks nice but we had a plumber investigate our water heater only to find out the vent pipe fell out. The roofers shingled over the vent hole in error. We called and they came out to fix it and I requested the warranty be re-written to start over from the day they cut a new hole in the roof to uncover the vent hole. I would recommend you check all vent holes to be sure you don't have an issue. Other than that it was a good job but this is worrisome nontheless.

I find it funny and a bit sad that Shadowfax roofing is trying to say they have no idea who I am now that I've left a negative review! Perhaps they need to improve their customer service, and actually call people back or show up to give quotes! As I stated in my original review, my husband called them and arranged the quote and the older gentleman that showed up said ""Oh, your house is 2 stories. I don't do quotes on 2 story houses. I don't have a ladder."" It all went downhill from there! We were promised that another person would come out but he never showed up and, and our many phone calls and messages went largely unanswered. The one time we received a call back, the man wanted to come out in the middle of the work day, which was not convenient from us, and then we never heard from them again!

We have since used Woods Roofing to replace our roof and were very impressed with the high level of customer service and great product that we received. I would recommend Woods Roofing VERY highly to anyone looking to replace a roof that wants to be treated like a valued customer!
