Mike is literally the nicest guy. Like ever! Leaks and finding out you have to replace your roof is an expense that you never want to have to incur; however, he makes it so less painful. he also came in at a lower quote of the other three companies we had come out. From beginning to end he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Phenomenal job on our roof too! With all this insane weather we have had the last couple of months we did not have one issue. If friendly, local, family run businesses are your jam and you will not be disappointed!

I hired Sequoia Roofing to do a complete re-roof. My house had quite a bit of fascia (wood trim that goes around the perimeter of the roof) that needed to be replaced as well, due to termite damage. The re-roofing portion of the job was OK. The fascia replacement was not OK. They used lumber which was had knots, raised grain, and other imperfections. This despite the fact that I told Tito, the guy in charge of the crew, that I wanted the good quality wood. As far as I can tell, he ignored my instruction. Also, several of the joints where one piece of the fascia meets the other do not come together and form a nice tight union (there are gaps). The bottom line is that if you are having any significant amount of fascia replacement, it is best to have a carpenter do that work using what is referred to as ""clear"" lumber.

The Sequoia Roofing All-Stars did an amazing job on our roof. I call them all-stars cause that's what they are. Tear down and re-roofing our house and detached garage in two days with fantastic results. The roof is perfect! No sloppy workmanship from these guys. You can tell they take pride in what they do by their attention to detail. Perfect straight lines everywhere, so nice to see expert craftsmanship still exists! And the price was so reasonable and had such good reviews, we didn't even bother getting other quotes. A beautiful roof and no mess left behind, you couldn't even tell they tore off the old roof and it was a construction zone for 2 days, other than the new roof. We are totally satisfied with our decision to go with Sequoia.

Oustanding roofing company. Can't recommend Sequoia highly enough. As a single woman on fixed income it was important to me to find good value. And not only did I find good value, but I found the best work possible. Mike is easy-going, responsive, on-the-ball competent, and totally pleasant to deal with. Super nice crew. Every one had a good attitude, very respectful and patient with my questions and requests. Showed up when they promised. No loud music, no bad language. Experienced roofers not pick up labor. The carpenters were skilled and resourceful. They needed to be with my specially-milled tongue and groove wood that had to be threaded in to replace rotten boards. A difficult job that took ingenuity and tenacity. Professional in every respect. Even the final cleanup was above and beyond. Thank you one and all. Great job.

Sequoia put a new roof on my daughters house, repaired my roof, and replaced a roof for my daughters neighbor. They have had the lowest or near lowest price for all three and did an excellent job. Strongly recommend.

Mike and his team did a superb job. Hightly recommend using this company. Also, the price was incredible. If anything, make sure you get a quote from this company. You will be pleasently surprised. Also, don't waste your money getting a lift and lay. If you did not know, a lift and lay is considered MAINTENANCE, so it does not have to adhear to the new roofing codes for a cool roof. So if you are thinking about a new roof I would not wait. Prices are going up. Also, you can have your choice of tiles from Boral or Eagle. I chose Eagle tiles since they looked stronger. Finally - I'm just a consumer like you, trying to save a buck and get good value for my dollar. Retired Navy.

Our house was WAY overdue for a new roof. Our neighbor used Sequoia for their roof, and were quite happy, so we went ahead and used them as well. The crew had the roof on our 1500 Sq Ft house knocked out in less than two days! I've never seen a group of workers so well organized, and the end results were absolutely outstanding! Aaron Bell and his crew replaced our roof up in Julian when other companies wouldn't take the job because of a gravel narrow road and very steep roof. They showed up when they said, quickly did the job and met the timelines regardless of very heavy winds on some days. Aaron was sure to oversee the job regularly and the roof looks great.
