We called three times on three different occasions and left msgs each times with the answering service. The 2nd time I called I asked do you think someone will call me back soon and the person says ""I don't know do you want to leave a message or not"".

I realize my Yelp review is more for the Answering Service and not the company....unless Sequoia is receiving our messages and not returning calls. But based on the calls it's probably the answering service.

So Sequoia, tell me the name of your answering service and I'll cut and paste my review onto their Yelp page.

We were in Escrow on a home and had this company come out to check the roof. Gave us a free estimate, answered all my questions. Very nice guy and on time. We will definitely call them again.

I used Sequoia Roofing to fix a leak in our roof and to repair broken tiles. They responded right away and scheduled an appointment the following day. They provided a very reasonable quote (I contacted a few companies and they came in about $100 cheaper). In addition, they also have the $100 for $200 Yelp voucher which helps lower the price even more. Juan conducted the estimate and Angel performed the work; he did a great job and was such a hard worker. I would highly recommend them for any roofing needs.

Mike at Sequoia was amazing to work with! He was there from start to finish, checking on his workers and the progress of the job every day. He always informed us of any issues that came up. He even went above and beyond to make sure we were still happy when the tile yard messed up and was a day late with some of our tile, delaying the completion of the job. I had many roofing bids and Mike was the most knowledgeable and professional. His price was fair and we are confident we hired the best man for the job. He also added vents to the attic and new flashing to the edge of the roof where there previously wasn't any. Plus they were very clean and left no mess behind.

They did a great job matching my existing tile. I added the elevated battens and ventilated weather blocking and the Low E Therml Sheet insulation. It has really paid off in my utility usage. Mike Rochholz was right. It keeps the house so much cooler in the summer ~ and much warmer in the winter.
The quote was a fair price. The materials were unloaded and stacked out of the way. The job started on time and the workers really knew what they were doing. When the job was completed - no trash, no cigarette butts, or soda cans were left anywhere on my property. They were careful to keep my gates closed so the dogs wouldn't get out. And they even scoured my flower beds and vegetable garden for nails and pieces of roofing paper.

Great value and superior quality!

For the past few year we had noticed a minor leak in our garage roof , but based on estimates we had received in the past, we decided to wait a little before we took on this project. Well the time finally came and we started anew by having multiple roofers come out to take a look and give us estimates.

Needless to say, we got a wide range of opinions, many of which didn't even take the time, to fully look at the roof. Of course with these opinions came a wide range of warranties and pricing as well.

Sequoia Roofing stood out, and followed through, as the most respectable, honest contractor, not to mention the best price, and warranty of all the roofers. Mike Rochholz came out the same day we called and did a thorough inspection of the roof, and was very straight forward about the condition and options that we had. The price was unbeatable, and the completed workmanship was superb. I am a very picky person to work with and do most work renovating myself. This experience however was the first time a contractor has worked on our house, that not only finished a superbly quality job, but also left the surrounding area cleaner that it was when they arrived. I can't say enough about the crew and the service, including follow up, that Mike and Sequoia roofing provided.

I don't like to recommend people often, because I feel responsible for what happens, but there is no doubt I would recommend and use Sequoia Roofing again for any job!

If you are looking for customer service and quality then call Sequoia Roofing. Rudy provided excellent customer service. He was thorough in his explanation and spent time walking us through this process. He was never annoyed with questions we asked and took time to make sure that we were comfortable and that our questions were fully answered. Sometimes it seems companies just send their crew out but Rudy was the one who bid our job, drove samples out and continued to check in once his crew (who were also amazing) were hard at work.

Our roof looks great and was completed in a timely manner. It was the quality and customer service that made Sequoia Roofing our choice and set them apart from the competition.

Before buying a house I had Mike inspect the roof (he did it for free). In large part due to his findings I abandoned the purchase. Later found another house and again had Mike inspect the roof for free. Bought the house and his team did the roof repairs. Quality work and showed up on time and always cleaned up. Even showed me digital pictures of the damage before and after repairs. I also bought a roof warranty for the whole roof even thought Sequoia only did work on part of the roof. Later in the year had a leak in the part of the roof not worked on by Sequoia. Called Mike and his team was there the next day to do the repairs with no cost (due to the warranty I had purchased). Without hesitation, I highly recommend Mike and his team to anyone who needs an honest high quality roofer.
