My husband and I had allot of quotes but, Sequoia stood out being a construction company too we went with them. They were cheaper than other company's with the rot repairs. I am so glad we did they addressed everything we went over in the quote.
We had dry rot in all our eaves more than we could see but suspected it. They quickly told us about the additional dry rot and we were able to get the additional work signed off and it was reasonable we had a cushion for additional rot planned finically and we did not have to sell a kidney to pay for it.
They said 3days for our size of house and they were able to finish in 3 days even with the additional rot.

Let me start by saying that they did a good job. We had a new roof put on and they had to remove 2 layers. The job should have taken 3-5 days to finish depending on how many people are working. It took them 15 days. Bad communication. So many hiccups. I don't really want to write everything that went wrong because in the end it was well done. You just have to be on them and communicate with them. Twice we were told someone was coming and twice we waited and ended up calling them to ask what is going on just to be told no one was coming that day. 3 Times we were called to verify something that was discussed but not written down. If you have time and patience they will do a good job.

There is so much to be grateful for this Thanksgiving, including Sequoia Roofing and their recent work to replace our 40+ year old roof, especially since there were actually two roofs to remove, one under the other. The workers were efficient, skilled, and careful as they removed the Cal Pac metal tiles and the original shake roof from 1975 -- quite a challenge. We were thankful that they were careful about the cleanup as well as the removal. The next stages, repairing and replacing sections of dry rot, covering the roof to keep it waterproof, and then placing shingles, valleys, new gutters and downspouts all proceeded smoothly. Every group of workers was expert and experienced at their jobs, for which we are grateful. And finally, all our worries about the fragility of our two skylights evaporated as workers removed and replaced them with care. We recommend Sequoia Roofers to anyone needing roof replacement. Rob and company are experts and are easy to work with, no matter the complexities of the job. You could not ask for better.

With the energy costs for our home increasing annually, my wife and I decided to have a solar system installed (Solar Savings Direct) on our home and garage roofs. One important aspect to this work was to consider whether or not our roof on our house, which was approaching 25 years, should be re-shingled prior to the installation of the solar panels. We were referred to Robert Williams, owner and manager of the Sequoia Roofing and Construction Co., to examine the condition of our roofs and determine whether or not to re-shingle the house and garage roofs. We still had about 8 years left on the garage roof and less than 2 years on our house roof. After discussing the conditions of the roofs with Robert, the best scenario was to do the house roof and only do minor repairs and seal the garage roof shingles. For us this was a money saving approach.

What impressed us both was the GAF Timberline HDZ Reflector Cool Composition (Title 24 Compliant) With Systems Plus Warranty Package, which was a 50 year non prorated material warranty with 5 yr. workmanship warranty backed by Sequoia Roofing. During the work process, the valleys received double 30# felt, installation of 2 layers (half lap) GAF Tiger Paw Synthetic Underlayment, and installation of Closed Cut Valleys, just to name some of the incredible work that went into our roof replacement. In addition, replacing existing roof/attic vents with new WUI Compliant, O'Hagin Fire and Ice roof/attic vents. Incredible work to say the least.

We were happy and very satisfied of the workmanship that was done and knowing that the quality of our roof will endure any environmental conditions and provide safety to us for years to come.

Robert and the team did a fantastic job on my roof that needed a replacement after some leaks were discovered after all the recent rain. They were on time, efficient, respectful of my property and affordable. Can't ask for anything more than that!
