So excited today. We got our permission to operate and start producing some clean power. Michael Karlberg and the team at Semper Solaris designed a perfect system, got my main pannel updated and guided me through the process. It is overcast outside yet I'm still seeing Bill credits on my Smud account. Can't wait for the summer to start producing some real power. If you are considering solar, honestly, please reach out to Michael Karlberg at Semper. They were honest, fast and very professional. If I ever need to upgrade my roof or windows they do that too.

I have never had a more frustrating and horrible experience. The company excelled at getting us a thorough quote very quickly but since then, it's been a total disaster. They don't communicate what is going on, we are now on month 7 of what was supposed to be a 4-5 month project with no explanation as to what the delays continue. I have found 2 people, Katie H and Shaun, but the rest of them don't seem care at all that they have $35,000 plus of our dollars with no results. Maybe this review will prompt a response, I don't know but I'm terrified they are going to keep delaying for no real reason. We were told our project is totally ready to go and to get turned on and now, 3 days later, we're still waiting. Don't use this company

So we have been on Semper Solaris Solar for a year now. Between our our bills from PG&E and our shore up plus the cost of Solar, our bills have increased. This company is extremely deceptive. Also we did heating and air with them. No change! DECEPTIVE. I chose Semper because my father was a WWII vet. They sub out work and don't think for a minute they hire all vets. Worst decision we ever made. My husband was retiring in a few months, not any more. They have increased all of our utilities. I hope the regulators will look into this company and shut them down for their deceptive practices.

As returning customers with a positive experience we were excited to use Semper Solaris for our solar and roof needs when we moved. My husband is a veteran and we love to support veteran owned companies. Unfortunately this experience was beyond terrible. Trying to keep the review short and to the point, there were multiple miscommunication issues between the roof installers and Semper Solaris as to what we paid to have completed. At one point they told us we had to pay more for something that was discussed and we were told would be included. During this time, and throughout our entire experience, the Semper Solaris employee (I have names) working with us would not return calls. When a payment was due however they were constantly calling/confirming a payment would be ready. They charged our account twice for thousands of dollars because of yet again a miscommunication on their part. During the time we noticed the double charge there was again no reply from the employee that was so worried about getting the check in the first place. To be fair they made that right, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. When issue after issue occurred I contacted customer service, not looking for anything but to get our project on track the only thing she could says was she was ""super sorry."" I asked to talk to someone else about our issues and was told complaints needed to be held by the construction department, mind you this was customer service I was speaking with. At this point it was clear our issues and our need for ""customer service"" was a moot point to the company. After the final inspection, in which Semper Solaris was present, there was still items anchored to our roof, and naturally we had to contact them again to have that taken care of. We are returning customers that will never use Semper Solaris again, nor will we make any recommendations, which we also did in the past. Disappointed in this veteran owned company is an understatement.

This is a horrible company! All they care about is to collect money from us after rendering incomplete service. This transaction has been going on since November 2021 and it is almost half year of 2022 with no progress at all. We have been paying 2 bills (Wheelhouse Credit Union and SMUD) for several months now. Aside from failing inspection 4x, Rachel is non stop bugging us for a payment of a little over $1000 for the remaining balance when we have paid them over $23k already. We requested to speak for a manager or someone higher than her but instead she replied saying that she will put a hold on the project not until they received the remaining balance. We have families and friends asking about solar and we will not recommend this company with horrible customer service and money hunger people.

We were looking for affordable Solar, most companies were coming in at 40,000 + for solar. They were much more cost effective and great interest rate. Plus they installed a switch to plug in a generator included. Excellent service.

Called Semper Solaris for a reroof quote for my Grandmother. Specialist Ryan Penrose was very helpful and informative through out the appointment. Answered all our calls and emails, being very patient over the last month.
We are happy to have decided to go with Semper.

The team at Semper Solaris exuded all things a 5 Star, top notch, A+ contractor can be. My Energy Specialist, Stephen K., listened to my problems, made me feel heard and provided solutions I didn't know were even available, as in backup battery solution from Tesla POWERWALL. Clutch!

I was surprised to learn that Semper Solaris is Tesla's #1 installer for Powerwalls (Directly from Tesla). And that Tesla does not install their own products due to not having the specialized licensing needed in CA. Wild.

Semper has Powerwalls! As in today right now! A super important fact, given Tesla will not allow me to purchase Powerwalls only (unless I purchase solar and PW from them). Doesn't help me if I already have a solar system and just want a backup battery.

While other Companies get it wrong, Semper gets it right!

To sum up everything previously stated, this veteran owned company, Semper Solaris, deserves ever bit of this 5 star review.

Let me start with this, I'm a simple kind of man and like things as easy as can be. Let me also say I didn't purchase anything yet, no Tesla Powerwall battery or solar system from Stephen K. at Semper Solaris, but when I'm ready he's my guy. Stephen K. made it easy for me, answered all my questions, and helped me understand all this solar stuff, and he did a Better job explaining everything than the other contractor did. Simply put, when we are ready to move forward, Stephen K and Semper Solaris is our choice!

PS. Bonus feel good points for supporting veterans working at a veteran owned company. Cheers!
