This is a horrible company! All they care about is to collect money from us after rendering incomplete service. This transaction has been going on since November 2021 and it is almost half year of 2022 with no progress at all. We have been paying 2 bills (Wheelhouse Credit Union and SMUD) for several months now. Aside from failing inspection 4x, Rachel is non stop bugging us for a payment of a little over $1000 for the remaining balance when we have paid them over $23k already. We requested to speak for a manager or someone higher than her but instead she replied saying that she will put a hold on the project not until they received the remaining balance. We have families and friends asking about solar and we will not recommend this company with horrible customer service and money hunger people.

We were looking for affordable Solar, most companies were coming in at 40,000 + for solar. They were much more cost effective and great interest rate. Plus they installed a switch to plug in a generator included. Excellent service.

Called Semper Solaris for a reroof quote for my Grandmother. Specialist Ryan Penrose was very helpful and informative through out the appointment. Answered all our calls and emails, being very patient over the last month.
We are happy to have decided to go with Semper.

The team at Semper Solaris exuded all things a 5 Star, top notch, A+ contractor can be. My Energy Specialist, Stephen K., listened to my problems, made me feel heard and provided solutions I didn't know were even available, as in backup battery solution from Tesla POWERWALL. Clutch!

I was surprised to learn that Semper Solaris is Tesla's #1 installer for Powerwalls (Directly from Tesla). And that Tesla does not install their own products due to not having the specialized licensing needed in CA. Wild.

Semper has Powerwalls! As in today right now! A super important fact, given Tesla will not allow me to purchase Powerwalls only (unless I purchase solar and PW from them). Doesn't help me if I already have a solar system and just want a backup battery.

While other Companies get it wrong, Semper gets it right!

To sum up everything previously stated, this veteran owned company, Semper Solaris, deserves ever bit of this 5 star review.

Let me start with this, I'm a simple kind of man and like things as easy as can be. Let me also say I didn't purchase anything yet, no Tesla Powerwall battery or solar system from Stephen K. at Semper Solaris, but when I'm ready he's my guy. Stephen K. made it easy for me, answered all my questions, and helped me understand all this solar stuff, and he did a Better job explaining everything than the other contractor did. Simply put, when we are ready to move forward, Stephen K and Semper Solaris is our choice!

PS. Bonus feel good points for supporting veterans working at a veteran owned company. Cheers!

Can't believe I'm still waiting for my solar installation after almost ONE year since this all started. My loan company even closed my account and I had to reapply because of the extended inactivity. I understand Getting permit approved might be a result of COVID but you can't blame everything on COVID. I've already missed the 30% credit and Sadly, It looks like I won't be able to get the 26% solar credit as the chance of my solar being turn on in two months will be very slim! I hope everyone one is being safe and well. And have better luck dealing with semper than me. (sorry I don't usually post on yelp but...?)

I had dealings with two solar companies before Semper Solaris and Semper Solaris was by far the better of the three. (Solar City and Vivent Solar) I recommend Jamie Ortega that moved very quickly to secure financing to purchase the labor and materials. Jamie has outstanding product knowledge, and quickly locked in a great price and so far is saving me well over $150 per month over my previous PG&E bills. The COVID 19 pandemic slowed them down a few weeks, but they picked up the slack as soon as possible. Their crew wore masks and were careful to social distance. They showed up on time and were very neat and organized. I thought Ed, who was the crew leader for Gold Rush communicated well and was very efficient. I really liked the followup from Lucia Valencia who made sure that we knew how to use the monitoring system that connects to a phone App that helps us monitor our energy usage on a daily basis. The entire team was very professional and I highly recommend them. I also liked that they are a veteran-owned company. I think they offer a discount to fellow veterans.

I called over to Semper Solaris for an HVAC quote, and was super surprised that everything was seamless over the phone easy quote. I spoke to a Jeff Levitt, who helped me with my HVAC needs. He also suggested for me to drop my gas furnance get an electric heat pump and add a few more solar panels to my house to offset the electric heat pump. I totally agreed, and now over the winter months I saved $700 + on my gas cost with PGE. It was so worth it, and I suggest calling over and getting Jeffrey Levitt as the consultant. They do roofing too, which was awesome because during the install of the extra solar panels they helped fix and replace a few broken flat tiles I had on my roof. Life Savers! We got the best crew, and all because of the experience here I'm writing this to share with you all. Thank you
