Now I just happen to see this establishment on Facebook sent them information talk to a young lady on on the phone and she emailed me a couple times made an appointment online for 11:00 on a Saturday morning didn't get any calls back or anything 11:30 11:45 rolls around still no calls or anything so how do you do a business when you make an appointment with somebody they don't call you when they supposed to be here they don't call you and say they're not coming what kind of business does that now I need to get a an AC in the heater so I was willing to get a nice quote and to actually spend some money cuz I need to get a new heater and AC but I can't do business with somebody who can't be on time I do not recommend this place whatsoever if you want to do business with them good luck I talked to a Brittany and a Jennifer that's who I had correspondence with if they can't be on time for an appointment they can't be on time when something breaks down and guarantee what they sell you the only reason why they're getting one star because I can't put a blank on here or no stars

Our experience with Michael Karlberg? at Semper Solaris couldn't have gone better. We reviewed 6 prospective bidders. We had a fairly aggressive timeline we needed to have installation done within and that made finding quality installation with good products our focus. We narrowed it down to two companies based on price alone: Tesla and Semper. Both quoted very competitive systems, for our needs. But that is the only thing that was similar, price point. Customer service is also important when your having contractors do a large project. We never spoke to a person at Tesla, we never heard back from them when we emailed, no number was given and no person to call.. just all online forms to fill out and wait.. extremely frustrating! They never confirmed a timeline for installation and kept delaying getting us a finalized design. Our experience with Semper was vastly different. From the time we asked for a bid, my project manager called me and we kept in touch every step of the way. He took the time to explain the technology differences, he proposed several options and systems for us to ensure we picked one that met our needs. He emailed and called with projected timelines for each step in the process. Michael was always clear about possible processing times. He always made sure we understood what came next and responded with friendly follow up calls when that step was complete. Working for the Navy myself I am honored to hire a company that is owned and operated by military vets. And to have so many years of experience in the field, i had great confidence they could complete our job on time! I am happy to say they didn't just get it done on time, but we got installation done ( despite my ever changing deployment schedule) a month early! Hoorah! Raven Tran

Getting solar through Semper has been a journey! We signed the paperwork back in April. Didn't hear much from them until we called for an update at the end of June. We called on a Thursday and they said there's a delay in battery production, or a shortage of some kind, blah blah. Then the VERY NEXT DAY they call to say they do have our stuff and will begin installation on Monday - they called the Friday before. So had we not called how long would we still be waiting? That's only the first issue. Then they come out to install our power walls and hit our water pipe. No one tells me how bad the damage is inside my wall, they just call a plumber to fix the pipe that they drilled a hole through. So not only am I having to go to work late due to their lack of communication and giving me 3 days notice but now the job is delayed a day because they hit the pipe. All along the way I get the ""they'll call you and update you about _______"" but we never get any calls. Lastly, the following week after install was complete, the HVAC guy was supposed to show up between 8-10 but of course he showed up at 10:45, again making me late for work. Their service is lack luster. Buying solar isn't cheap. Buying batteries for solar isn't cheap. The communication and customer service should be 5 star but it's not. And they don't care - they already have my money. I have 2 power walls and 28 panels and still draw from the grid. That's not what I was told. I was told we'd be at 115% and wouldn't need the grid. More run around I'm guessing.

With all the COVID-19 craziness, I figured it would take awhile for the final inspection by Semper Solaris and the city of Walnut Creek. Today (May 19) was the day. Remy was Semper Solaris installer. He did an awesome job of finishing up some tweaks, interfacing with the inspector and showing me operation of the equipment. It's so cool to pull up the Tesla app and see I'm getting 100% of my energy from the sun. The last step is to get PG & E to certify it and I'll see the results on my bill. Thank you Remy, Ralph and all the folks at Semper Solaris. Help me dog those rebates now!

My installation took place in the third week of october 2019 and as of today I still do not have a Permit To Operate as the installation was plagued by their installer taking short cuts in the install not putting in enough panels or proper wiring as per the plan drawn by engineers and approved by the city of Visalia . They have been out several times to make changes to the install on my time to allow them access to my garage where the panels and Tesla powerwall is located and today they showed up for final inspection, I was notified that they needed to do more wiring change. Seems the company dropped the ball on my project and now are realizing they need to complete it three months later. When i spoke with the project manager they blamed the engineer, city planning and the city inspector, never once taking blame for their people not following the plans or sub par work. I will pursuit their work with the CSLB that governs contractors

These guys put in my SunPower system 2 years ago and did an outstanding job. I needed them to help out on a minor roof leak and they came out no hassle and took care of it. Really nice guys and and always professional. Highly recommend Semper Solaris

I used them about 2 yrs ago, not satisfied with the the communication with the people who handle the work we were not told what to do when the solar system was done, NO FOLLOW up call , they did not explained fully what, the how , the system works until PG and E hand us a NEM bill of nearly $2000.00 it turned out there was damaged part and resulted in NO ENERGY production, I had brought it to the CEO's attention John Almond and was just ignored . So I will not recommend this company at all .

I had the pleasure of having Leno and Adam work on my solar panels adding critter guards around each one.. They did such a good job and went above and beyond to make sure it was right.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! Its been 7 months and still not done. Finally ready for inspection 2 weeks ago and guess what, they had to cancel because they lost the plans! Yes, they lost the plans. Now, 2 weeks later ready for inspection and it fails! No communication AT ALL! I have to call every week to find out whats going on because they will not contact you. I am beyond livid! They never show up when they say. I think I've heard every excuse from traffic problems to not enough nan power and blaming the county inspector. If you work for this company and are reading this please dont ask me to call. Just give me the usual ""im sorry"" bullshit. Im a USMC Veteran and I hired Semper because I thought they can be trusted, WRONG!
P.S. 7 months and still not done!

This is the worst company to ever do business with, took 3 months for installation, they tell you that up front but then they say it doesn't take that long. No communications, when they put in my electrical box I had no AC/washer/dryer/various outlets in house not working for over 4 days in 110 degree temps. Finally they sent out a real electrician. I asked when they were installing the box if they were certified electricians, one guy said yes and one said no. Come to find out the one who said yes was not! Personnel at Bakersfield office are untrained and incompetent. Contacted the owners but got an I am sorry from the operations manager. Referred our neighbors and after almost 14 weeks they still did not have solar and cancelled. Of course I did not receive my $550 referral bonus, told the operations manager that it was their fault they lost the sale and I should get the referral bonus, never heard from him again. Roofers took one of my shovels, did return, but other than that I wished I would have never gone with this company. Did so because my husband is a USMC Vietnam Vet. Most of my neighbors are having solar installed, once they sign up it is up and running within a week, of course they went with other companies. Terrible, terrible company. Do not recommend.
