Hi Tracy, I can appreciate that you took the time to respond to my review but it is not really helpful. Your suggestion is that I contact the Semper Solaris office. If you read my review you will see that the way your customer service is currently set up - it is not possible to reach anyone, and no one returns calls even after I left numerous messages and emails.
I can possibly contact your office if you send me a direct number where I can speak with a human instead of my current experience where every number I call, goes to an automated hold for 30 mins, and then hangs up.

After they installed the solar panel and collected the check, there's zero support. I called PGE to see what the status of my application is and they said they haven't received it. I contacted Semper and they keep on referring me to a 800 number to call. No one picks up, after 30 mins call drops automatically, left voice messages numerous times but no one calls back. Email responses are very short and unhelpful. They've sent me a docu-sign for Agreement and Authorization pdf after I escalated the issue and then another week goes by and they sent me the same AA docu-sign. They use the name veteran owned but do not live up to any of the military values, very disappointed.

Super happy with the whole experience of adding 9 additional panels to my existing 5 panel system. Reasonably priced too, i was quoted 7k for one additional panel from another company.

From when I first called to panels on the roof, it felt like a month which i thought was super fast. This company is very responsive, communicative, professional and knowledgeable. Everyone that came to the house was friendly and professional. They know the steps, they have the right ppl and they get it done.

Stuff i learned thru this process:
--Panels connected to enphase app that integrated old and new systems. Love that app.
--Alameda county permitting for this is easy and inspection was relatively timely
--After inspection passes, the panels go live.
--Payment was very easy, once u give them ur info once, they take care of the timing and amt of payments as they stated in quote and give u helpful reminders.

This company under engineered the amount of panels needed to cover our electrical needs so really never got money back from what we paid for their panels. We had $3,000 bills this fall!!! They then found out that there was a problem with equipment and after months they contacted us to fix it.
By then we had another company come in and replace system with almost double the amount of panels.
Do not trust this company! We were really screwed and paid a lot of money with never a good power bill!!

System went down several months ago and not yet repaired. I am now on my 4th call and trying to get someone to call me for installation of broken solar edge controller. The controller was ordered on December 9th and shipped January 19th. They are good and selling and installation but fall short with anything after that.

I just saw a Semper Solaris commercial on TV. Please avoid them. I'm an OEF and OIF veteran and they fucked me. Deceptive sales guy. Repeated delays. My simple project lasted over a year, they damaged my house and did not make things right. The owner refuses to engage with customers. This is an overspread org that can't keep track of their own subcontractors. Stay away from these crooks that give combat veterans like me a bad name!

OVER TWO YEARS we have been working on this solar project with Semper Solaris. They are STILL not finished and everything was installed months ago. The worst part is that it is IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of anyone at their company. You will wait on hold for hours to speak with a representative. We're lost in the machine with these guys and it has been nothing short of a nightmare to deal with them. DO NOT HIRE THEM FOR YOUR SOLAR PROJECT, they will leave you hanging out to dry.

I hired Semper to put in an Enphase battery backup system. They did not file paperwork properly and I lost my original loan rate per the contract I signed. Then after more change orders the actual work started and in the process of connecting the battery system cables to my solar panels they damaged my roof tiles and removed an entire section of roofing. They left my northern california roof with nothing but black plastic garbage bags and never replaced the missing tiles. Months later they sent some one out who was not a licensed roofing contractor to ""fix"" things and he actually made it worse by shoving broken tiles in between the missing sections and plastic. I then hired a licensed california roofing contractor and paid for the damage Semper caused myself. Had I not paid for the repairs, my home would have suffered THOUSANDS of dollars in damages. I have requested reimbursement for the repairs and they just keep having different people call me saying they are ""looking"" into it but no one calls back with a solution. I cannot in good conscience recommend working with this company.

We had Sempra Solaris come out and give us a bid. We thought it was high, but they seemed like a reputable company...NOT!! Do not, for ANY reason, no matter what someone else tells you, ever use this company for solar or roofing! They destroyed our roof! We just had a brand new roof installed and it was less than 6 years old. Because of what they did, we no longer have a warranty on our roof and the roof in the attic looks like a waterfall when it rains in many areas! It also is going to cost over 13K to fix what they did! There were multiple holes drilled into our roof so these clowns could find a beam to screw there lag bolts into. In MANY places in the attic I found 9 straight drill holes in a row until they could find a beam to screw into! They knew what they did, so they put glue on the roof to try and seal up the holes! You can't get a hold of ANYONE, especially a manager that has any authority to help us and talk directly to us. We have now filed a complaint with the state licensing board and the BBB sense its been like pulling teeth to get a hold of ANYONE from this company! They are coming out in Feb to look at it, along with my roofing contractor and have put us off for 3 long weeks until they would even come out! Please beware of this company and don't ever use them for ANYTHING! There commercials are a complete and utter lie and I never saw ONE SINGLE vet working for them, because I asked all who worked on the roof! Hope this helps many of you to stay away from Sempra Solaris.
