VERY VERY VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY! We leased solar from them and they cause our roof to leak!!!' WE HAVE THE Presidential roof which is the top of the line roof it lasts 100 years or more our roof is now ruined we have to replace the roof. Now they want a $10,000 just to come and remove the panels and then put them back up on the roof after they ruined our other roof I do not want to use them. We bought a Tesla back up battery pack from this company and we're told we would get a rebate of close to $4000. It has now been one year and we still have not received our rebate and they keep passing the buck off to being someone else's fault!!! Do not lease or buy from this company at any cost! Or it will cost you.

They are incompetent.

Did a roofing and solar job on our house. Solar job requires electricity rewired. Their faulty wiring caused our air conditioning to shut down after few hours. Air conditioning repair man checked voltage & found only 96 volts to the condenser. We told Semper Solaris, they came out & within half hour told us everything is good! We believed them.

A month later weather was hot again, and air conditioning shut down again. Semper Solaris refused to come out to our house. Electrician we called diagnosed what was wrong in less than an hour. We wrote Semper Solaris in an email what was wrong. We included pictures showing what needed to be fixed. Despite our email, Semper Solaris crew that came did not know what was the problem. When told about the problem, they left after deciding they could not fix it. Second crew came out two days later. After an hour fumbling around, the crew asked what was the problem. We asked if they saw the email and pictures. They replied they were not given email or pictures! The crew finally fixed the problem. Only took more than 1 month and three tries, with assistance of our air conditioning repair person and electrician.

The crew that worked on roofing job left trash all over our yards. Semper Solaris bought way too much tile (we have +160 unused tiles). They also took more than six months to finish the job.

They engage in unethical, illegal practices.

For the last payment, we did not pay full amount because of what we went through. On our check we wrote ""Full & Final Payment."" They cashed our check then proceeded to call us looking for the remaining amount. Their right to claim the remaining amount is conditioned on their refunding in 90 days our last payment. That is required under California law (CA Commercial Code Section 3311). They never refunded. Once the 90 days passed, we told them they did not have the right to claim the remaining amount.

They followed by violating the law again. Once told they could no longer claim the remaining amount, they filed a mechanics' lien on our house. Their right to file the mechanics lien expired 90 days after they finished the work. CA Civil Code Section 8412. They filed the mechanics lien 133 days after they finished the work. Their lien also claimed extra amounts on top of the amount. Another thing they are not allowed to do under California law.

We even wrote to them advising them of an unfavorable review unless they undo the mechanics lien. Apparently they wanted an unfavorable review.

We had another EXCELLENT interaction with a SemperSolaris Rep - this time, DaJuan of their Los Angeles Office, who came to our home to do an In-Person'Survey' our roof. DaJuan was appropriately masked for this 'Second Spike' of COVID infections, as well as informative & approachable (I asked him some 'Geeky' Qs - which he ably answered).
He moved with respectful care for the composite shingles as he tookVERY thorough measurements- & notations of the roof's dimensions- & 'obstacles' (vents, etc.)
He was entirely Professional - and We were entirely satisfied with his demeanor & work.

Very satisfied with the service of Semper Solaris. We already had a solar power generating system, but we wanted an emergency power backup. We live in an area that can be subject to PSPS outages during high wind and high fire danger events. He had considered a gas-powered generator, but obtaining fuel during an emergency could be problematic.

I had investigated the Tesla Powerwall system some years ago, but had forgotten about. Semper Solaris came out and we decided to purchase a two-battery system for complete power backup. Once installation was scheduled, they came out and completed the job with minimal time without power. They had to completely replace our old 100-amp breaker panel with a new 200-amp one.

They were able to move the inverter and cutoff switches from the existing solar panels inside the garage where the Powerwall batteries were installed. They did an excellent job and the installation looks very professional. The patched around the new switchboxes on the outside of the garage and matched the paint perfectly.
They have submitted paperwork for our rebate through Southern California Edison and we have received notice that it has been received and we have a ""reservation.""

The only possible negative thing is something over which Semper Solaris has no control - how long it takes to get the permits and inspections done by the city. There was a minor problem that the installation wiring did not match what was submitted in the original plans. I talked to the City Building Inspector and she said that the wiring was done properly and that the only problem was with the plan miss-match. They had to resubmit a copy of the plans that matched the installation and it would be signed off. We are now awaiting the final approval.

If I could give it zero stars or negative stars I would. So far we signed a contract in August they didn't even start work until December now we are halfway in it the job is incomplete it has been weeks and weeks the job site is unsafe. Sometimes they don't even show up no call, nothing. No one has an answer for anything my advice is to go to a different solar company. They should be not be allowed to use Semper Fi, they are in embarrassment to the military is

I recently had to replace the AC for one of my rental properties. From the Beginning the Semper Solaris Company Representative, Paul Wallach assured me with prompt and professional care, that they would be quick and efficient. Being in the middle of a Heat-wave I figured it would move slowly, yet the Mike Ibarra and his crew were on it, got the permits, and installed it so quick. I am so grateful to Paul for organizing the project and Mike for executing the work. My tenants also expressed their appreciation for saving them from the heat.

After writing my initial review, I received a call from Semper and spoke to someone who claimed they were going to make things right. It's been nearly 2 weeks and I haven't received any follow up after numerous emails. It seems the only way to get through to them is via a negative review.

Semper Solaris installed our Tesla Powerwalls. Their Seabees team off installers were Great. Helpful, friendly and very professional. Ours was a somewhat complex installation since we needed a new electrical panel. Best news is everything works! Very pleased. It took longer than expected for the install because I believe the Powerwalls were back ordered. Highly recommended.

I was researching the best solar companies in Southern California on the internet and came across Semper Solaris. I interviewed three companies and Semper had the best reputation. Bob King came my home, went over my bill, analyzed my usage and figured out how to get the most out of my roof to save as much money as possible. I decided to go with Semper and I made a great choice. I love my system and the app to see my usage. Erez the foreperson was great -- very responsive, extremely knowledgeable about the system -- he actually knew more than the inspectors who came out to approve my installation. Now my bill is 30 bucks every two months and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Semper Solaris if you're looking to go solar and ask for Bob King!

Well, buyer be ware . We bought solar panels from Semper Solaris and we had been very happy with the panels but when they put them up they never told us that if we replace our roof they have to do it or it voids our warranty . So know we either go with this company who has been very rude when we have tried to talk to them , or we void the warranty . They also have us a quote a little more than a year ago and now it's gone up over 3k more. Very unhappy , had they said that we would have chosen to replace the roof at that time . Read your contracts everyone.
