Very frustrating experience. We purchased a new roof, power panel upgrade, solar panel with battery back-up system on our 1400sqft. house. started the process in late Feb. 2023, after the design process, Semper Solaris submitted for permits in early April for the roof, I would have thought they would have submitted for the rest of the upgrades at the same time but no. permits for the roof were issued in early June, roofer started and didn't complete the needed work before inspection, so there were some items that needed to be completed and fixed before the inspector would sign off, the Semper Solaris construction mgr. told me they would get the items taken care of and he talked to the inspector and the inspector would be back out on Friday, I knew right then that he was lying to me because the city inspectors do not work on Fridays in my city, the construction Mgr. then told me that they are going to just go ahead and cover the roof with the lament paper and take pictures and the inspector will just buy it off, I asked him if he was sure he wanted to do that and he said yes we do it all the time. Inspector didn't come back out until the next Wednesday and rejected the roof and told the construction mgr. to uncover the roof so he can see the completed sheeting and fixes that he requested from the week before. so all in all a roof job that should have been done in one week took almost three weeks, totally unacceptable! Now we had to wait for Semper Solaris to submit for permits (which should have been done back in February 23') and schedule the rest of the work, we finally got permits and scheduled the rest of the work in mid Sept. 23. electricians arrived and completed power panel upgrade, solar panels and battery back-up system, but the foreman was having trouble trying to get the system to connect to the internet and told me he would have to get with his tech and come back out and fix the issue. I didn't hear anything for two or three weeks and had to call my salesman Gil to find out what was going on, couple of days later the foreman finally came back out and fixed the problem. NOW with all the rain we've had over the last couple of months I have a leak in my new roof dripping into my family room and when I contacted Semper Solaris it took them a week and a half to send someone out, the first time it was scheduled he was a no show and no call to communicate he wasn't coming, then he was supposed be out between a certain time and showed up an hour and half late, he pepped his head into the attack (didn't even enter the attack) and said it was the solar crews issue, I waited for Semper Solaris to contact me with a report and with the expectations they would be sending someone from the solar crew to look at it but didn't hear anything, so I called my sales guy Gil again, I was told by Gil has sent all my emails to his boss and that they should be calling me, I was told that two or three times and I am still waiting, my next call is going to be to my lawyer...

Overpriced and had problems throughout the installation. There was a water leak above one of the bedrooms and a gas leak. They were all resolved but should've happened in the first place. I saw the same system on Amazon for $3500 afterwards and they charged me $17,000! I kept asking for an itemized receipt but never received it.
They say they're local, maybe customer service is but not installation. They were coming up from Bakersfield to the Modesto area.

Actually at the time of deciding installation of solar panels, I had several solar companies in touch with me for rendering their services. But when Adrian Jimenez (the sales representative from Semper Solaris) came directly to my home and quoted for me after detailed explanation and deliberate calculation in respect of my home specifically, I immediately decided to accept service from Semper Solaris.

The fact speaks louder than words and I knew that I made a correct and wise decision. Believe me the after-sale service is also outstanding. Whenever you have a question or have something uncertain, Adrian has the answers in place for you.

So I've had my solar going now for a few months and I am very pleased no problems at all it started when my wife and i had sat down with Adrian Jimenez he was amazing and on top of his job he went over every little thing with us and answered any questions we had he provided all the information we needed for us to know we were going with semper solaris he told us about the system we were getting and all the steps needed to go through and during the process he kept in touch during every step of the process still answering any questions I had come up with Adrian was very professional and honest and such a big help during it all the longest process was waiting on my city for permits which is out of sempers hands once that came in I was scheduled for install the day the crew got to my house they were all very professional and did a very clean install they were in and out the same day from there I just had to wait on pge and then I was up and going all and all a very good experience with Adrian Jimenez and the semper solaris team ill definitely be referring him to others

After considering other solar companies I researched and talked with the representative who came to my house and provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend Adrian Jimenez to assist you with all of your solar needs. The service was straight forward, no surprises, efficient, and on time. Adrian's follow through was excellent and his customer services went above and beyond the usual. I am very happy with the new roof and solar that Semper Solaris provided. We contacted them about get an estimate and immediately we got a response from 2 different women asking questions and my husband got frustrated and asked one of them why there were 2 people hitting him up for information and she said she could see the other person worked i the same department and she could see everything so it was confusing why they both were asking same thing. Then we communicated with one woman from there on out. She set a time to come see us on Saturday, February 18 @ 6pm after that she had asked for some billing information which at that point we did not get it to them. Three days later I asked my husband to check and see if they were coming and we were told that we did not have an appointment because we did not give them the billing information. Unknown to us because we did not get the billing information to them. They would not follow through on their side with an appointment they never called or texted and asked for the billing information again so we just thought everything would be taken care of at time of appointment. At that point when he contacted them, she said we had No appointment then wanted to do a phone quote. at 6:00 that night She asked for our billing information again which at that point we gave it to them and that was it. No response. No call no text nothing. We still have not heard anything from the company. It has been three days later. Needless to say, I think they handled their business. And a little bad. Thankful we didn't go with them.

This is add-on one of the reasons we had contacted this business in the first place is because they were local owned veteran owned being my husband is a veteran. I thought that it would be great to support a veteran owned business. Since the first post they had said they would like to reach out to me. I messaged her back with my phone number and have not heard anything since then.

Ryan and his partner were on time, respectful and were simply a delight to have do the installation of our solar batterie. they made sure that I was happy with where the batteries and the other boxes necessary for the installation were located. the installed the batteries and cleaned the area before leaving. thanks guys

This was a pretty seamless process all handled by Adrian Jimenez. There is so much to consider, paperwork to go through and permits to obtain but this was done for me. I was always kept up to date each step of the process until everything was installed. Everyone from beginning to end really knew what they were doing and were very patient with my questions. Please if you are thinking about solar definitely go with Semper. Plus you are supporting our Vets!

We had a difficult permitting process along with issues with our utility provider, the team from semper came through and helped us find solutions to the challenging obstacles they were placing. Our sales rep was instrumental, not only for the sales portion of the process but also in communicating with the design/engineering team and us. He guided us through the difficult moments from the initial selection of the system and its size, all the way till the last inspection. He never left us hanging even though the sales portion had already completed. Not once did we feel alone when the process got challenging!
