Semper Solaris was always there if a problem. Installing a Powerwall 3 battery requires a lot of coordination between SS and their different Departments, the Building Inspector and finally PG&E. Not an easy task. I will say there were problems as expected but SS was always there to get the job done to my satisfaction. The power station is a great invention and you also have Tesla to help when needed. It eventually pays for itself and I don't have to worry about blackouts. Tesla's app is great as you can see what is happening and have some options that you can choose.

The crew started at 7am on the dot. They all worked non stop. No lagging with these guys. Tatin Davis and his crew went at the roof with practiced coordination. I was very impressed.

We looked at our rising PG&E bills and thought to ourselves how we can fight these increases. We heard that solar is the way to go if we wanted to control the usage from PG&E or the ""Grid"". We shopped around for the ""best"" solar company and found that the Pricing for the New Tesla power wall 3 and one of the best rated solar panels came in at a manageable price. We asked a ton of questions and signed the contract in July. Semper Solaris designed the system and took care of our SGIP application for us. The installation was proposed to be sometime in October but we got a call in August and the permitting process and site visits took place right away. We got the Tesla PW3 and 10 panels at 390w each totaling 3.9kw. This design was 115% of our historical usage. It took a little while to get our Permit to operate from PG&E but that is to be expected. After some programming and working out the bugs which Semper Solaris performed and looked after with urgency, We are pleased to say that our first full month bill from PG&E was under a $100. After we get used to the system I assume we will be ""self powered"" on most days which will reduce the bills from PG&E even more. Looking forward to not having $250-275 PG&E bills. Prices are only going to go up in the future.

I asked for a quote. A salesperson came over.

She was 20 minutes late... never apologized. We talked about different types of batteries: she said she'd quote Tesla but didn't. She said she'd give me 3 quotes (deluxe, average and economy). I only got one and I don't know which it is. I don't know if she included the veteran discount. Her quote showed my monthly PG&E bill of $240. But the solar quote was $310.
She had trouble getting connected from my house so after 45 minutes, she headed over to a coffee shop and said she'd email the quote (which she did) and call me to discuss it (which she didn't do). I emailed her with some questions. She never responded.
I emailed the company with my feedback. they never responded, either.
All in all, pretty pitiful.

I had my roof replaced as part of a solar project. Semper's project manager Tatin Davis contacted me before, during, and after to answer all my questions about the project. The roofing crew did a great job with removing my old roof, replacing rotted wood, and installing my new roof with Dutch gutters. The crew was tidy and cleaned up my property after.

Tatin Davis from Semper Solaris came to inspect a roof leak. He was very professional and knowledgeable about roofing. He inspected the ceiling, the attic space, and the top of the roof. He was able to determine the cause of the leak based on his professional experience. During the whole process, he was professional and pleasant to talk with.

1. I wanted to install a couple of Tesla Powerwalls. They called me back right after I submitted their form - very nice. However, the guy at the other end kept insisting that he needed our typical electricity bill even though I told him that we had just moved into the house in April and weather wise there was nothing typical about the last 3 months. Also - if I shopping for solar, it would be one thing but I was looking for battery. After telling the person that if he kept insisting about getting a typical bill, it was going to be a very short conversation. So I asked once more and I hung up the phone.

2. Next day early morning - somebody calls me up from their company to do an appointment. Fine - I needed the Tesla powerwall's - so why not. So the person comes out and as we are talking, he mentions a 25K number for the 1st battery. I can go to Tesla's website and request 2 batteries for around 21K.

I checked with him on the price for Enphase system and they were 25% higher than one other installer that I was working with.

It is a shame that companies like this are asking obscene amount of money from customers who are not doing any kind of price shopping. Definitely doesn't feel like a very ethical business.

Hi, I worked with semper Solaris to install a new roof. The project manager, Tatin Davis, did site inspection while the roofers were hard at work. He and the roofers were timely, conscientious, and productive in that my roof was fully installed in two days with city inspection shorty after. The roofers cleaned up every day and left my home free of debris which they took with them. Please look to this company their cost is fair and they provide excellent service and warranties.

Semper Solaris is a big company but they set my roofing and solar job up with a very responsive and helpful project supervisor -Tatin Davis. Who reached out for scheduling and kept me apprised every step of the way. We had a hiccup where I had a problem with the appearance on section and the team came back right away and worked with me to make the job absolutely beautiful. The contractors were also very efficient and respectful of fussy neighbors and worked hard in hot conditions and I am so appreciative! Considering that the roof and solar are under 20 year warranty I thought the price was a fair deal.
