We had an urgent need for an HVAC tech. Kieanta (Chianti ""like the wine"") Rice was dispatched. He was on time, courteous, professional and very knowledgable of the work necessary to resolve our issue. He was quick but thorough and shared vital information with us in regards to our AC unit we've enjoyed for over a year now. We highly recommend Kieanta for your HVAC needs should they arise.

It looks like Semper Solaris has a few different offices so I hope I'm rating the right location.

We had solar panels and a new roof installed in 2016 by a company that heavily advertised on TV and print but has since gone out of business (probably because they did horrible, shoddy work). Three years later, a few of the solar panels weren't producing as much energy as the rest of the panels so we called their service department to come out since it was still under warranty. They said they were understaffed and demanded $300 to just come out to look at the panel. Annoyed, and not wanting to give them any more of my money, I decided it would take some time before the loss of energy produced equaled $300. Shortly after, they went out of business and I feared I would be screwed if anything went wrong with the solar panel/system. Fast forward to June 2022...I noticed the app that monitors the panel output was offline. I called around and Semper Solaris was one of the few places that is willing to service solar systems that they did NOT install. It took a few days to hear back from them but I was able to schedule a service call at a reasonable price (and CHEAPER than the crooks that installed the system!).

Rubin was the service technician that showed up and he was AWESOME. He looked at our system, called Enphase (the manufacturer) and was able to get our system back online in a short period of time. He also confirmed that while the app was offline, we were still producing and sending energy to the grid (that made me feel better). He climbed to our roof, took a look at the troubled panel, couldn't see anything wrong but cleaned it off and said give it a few days to see if the reading would get better. He had such a great attitude and was pretty much willing to do whatever we needed to make sure he left us happy. He even cut down a few tree branches that were shading the panels (with our approval, of course). Turns out he used to install solar panels but moved to the servicing side. I would not hesitate to call Semper Solaris again and definitely ask for Rubin.

We bought a new home in 2019 and wanted to get Tesla Powerwall battery so that if there is an outage our little kids could study without interruption and also save $ on the PGE true up charges. Our roof has got Sunpower solar. We wanted a battery that works with our roof solar. I called so many companies like EnPhase, sunpower, LG, Tesla etc for a battery and they all mentioned I need to change both my roof solar and the battery which would cost me almost 35000$ for one battery and 50,000$ for two batteries. Then I ended up with Semper solaris and they didn't push me to buy everything for their business. They gave me a good deal and assured me that they will take care of everything like city permits, SGIP etc. What others found impossible Semper made it possible. I paid 1000$ as deposit and was put in queue and was told the battery could come in April and interestingly in just one month, the battery came in January and I got a call and in less than a week they came and installed everything professionally.

I was assigned to Jessica Robertson for any questions or issues with my battery. She is very knowledgeable and friendly throughout the process. I always got prompt answers for my questions and meaningful timelines for my rebates. She treated me more like a friend rather than a customer. She genuinely cares for customers and was very soft-spoken. Together both Semper and Jessica have made a good impression on me.

I am not normally a person who writes reviews, but when I spoke to Jessica, I felt she needs to be rewarded for her professional behavior and friendliness which wins business.

We were in search of a roofing company as our roof was starting to show deterioration, so we found five quotes from other companies and we like Semper Solaris the best. They had a quick response, friendly countenance over the phone, and they were very thorough with explanations so that I could better understand the roofing lingo. John Bernal was very patient with me and I appreciate that very much. I did get a bit upset when other charges were pointed out, but they maintained their patience with me and also showed me the damage through photos, as well as reminders from the contract. I appreciate the professionalism and willingness to work through any problems that came up.

Big PLUS that they were willing and able to remove and re-install my solar panels. Thanks!

Are use this company for my solar panels and everything was fine until decided to get the Tesla wall storage batteries. I got qualified for a grant by PG&E for these storage batteries. Before they install Semper Solaris tells me that I have to put the money down and fully pay for the batteries and then will get reimbursed after installation and inspection. They install the batteries and got paid months ago and now that it's time for reimbursement, there are a lot of issues with passing the inspection with the city and they are moving very slowly, if at all to correct the issues. My main concern is to get my money back which is not small amount. Each of each battery is about 15 K and I've installed two of them.
I am very frustrated with this company as they are moving very very slowly to complete this project

I had a 15 LG solar panel with Enphase Inverters installed and activated by Semper Solaris in mid-January. The system is currently working and generation abundant power.

I received quotes from 7 solar installers. Bill LaCommare, Energy Consultant with Semper Solaris, impressed me with his knowledge of the solar business. His expertise, prompt answers to questions, and sincere help, made it easy to select Semper Solaris to do the install and activation, and long-term system care of my solar power system.

On install day, the installer team lead met me at my door, and clearly explained what to expect during the installation, city inspection, and PG&E activation. The Semper Solaris in-house support team quickly helped me activate the Enphase"" Enlighten"" service and status app.

I'm happy with the results, and plan to have Bill (Semper Solaris) help with a future Air Conditioning, EV charge station, and battery install.

Don't hire them. Stay away. Do not even waste your time on an estimate because it will be a lie. It is great to go with Solar just don't use them to install it. They over promise, tell lies and then demand payment with no apology. They don't communicate and then leave voicemails over the weekend. They are headquartered out of San Diego so this is NOT a local company. If I could give zero stars I would.

Michael and his crew were awesome. They all are very punctual and educated on their products. I had a Tesla battery installed and they kept me updated/ informed all along the way. Even the people behind the desk and in the office stayed in touch so I knew exactly when people would show up at my home. After the install Michaels is teaching me the best route for how to use my new energy best. I highly recommend everyone at Sempre and especially Micheal. Thumbs up .

We have a clay red tile roof and had difficulty in finding solar panel installers that would deal with the fragile red tile. That included Tesla which went all the way through the bid process until suddenly they declined. We then found Semper Solaris which is also a roofing company. They replaced the section of roof where the panels go with concrete imitation clary tile with an excellent match. Paul Wallach was an excellent sales representative and answered my many questions accurately and with patience. He also continued to help expedite issues that arose throughout the installation process.

The project managers, coordinators and installation crews for the roofing, solar panels and battery projects were professional, courteous and responsive. I give four stars instead of five, because of the length of time to complete the project - the three contracts were signed on Sep 27, 2020 and the final PF&E approval and turn on of the system did not occur until May 20, 2021. I did not take off more stars because much of the three or four month delay was due to COVID both within Semper Solaris and even more within the County inspection system. The solar and battery system has now been up and running for more than one month and we are very pleased with the results - this system provides cost savings that repay its cost over time and protects us from ever more likely power outages in the future.

I don't even want to give them one star I was having a new roof and solar put on The roof went OK got a call on Thursday told me I was having a new roof put on my house on Monday i've been home because I had surgery on my foot so that was OK The roof got taken off and the new group got put on in three days not bad but it's been almost 2 months now and 2 Messages not answered so take your chances with them
