They take way too long to address faulty panels. We reported a faulty panel in early April and didn't get the replacement until late June. Second time a panel failed (first time was less than a year after the initial installation).

If you want a company to give you 3 no shows in a row for one single, unfulfilled appointment you have, and to never pick up the phone when you call them -- this is the company to go. It's been three weeks since our initial confirmed appointment and man, just cannot get the hang of this company. Very frustrating since the delay it costs and we could've got someone else at the meantime -- you probably should find someone else.

I have read some not so positive reviews about Semper Solaris. but I want to differ from them. I live in the SF east bay and am having success with my system. I am in the middle of a power outage right presently and now have time to write this review. during this outrage I have observed my battery kick in to feed power to my 4 critical circuits. plus it is feeding power to my inverter, which means I am still generating solar power.
one other plus about semper Solaris is their customer service. they always connect with me when I have an issue. the last issue I had was changing my WiFi to use a hard wire Ethernet cable. yes there were issues with this job. but throughout the process the tech (Bradley from the Manteca office) was always polite professional and patient with me. So I am very happy right now with my solar system and with Semper Solaris.

whatever you guys do, don't believe anything they tell you they give you all these stories about how it's a great for your house. It's gonna do this. It's gonna do that all these perks you get and then when you get it and you get out the solar and then you get all these things that they say they're gonna do this you're gonna they're gonna take care of everything. Don't worry about this. Don't worry about that when things start happening things don't go right and you can't get nobody to help you with anything and you're stuck in a contract and you're stuck there trying to get everything going and nothing works. I have been a customer of Semper Solaris since 2016 when my first panels were installed. Over the years there have been a few issues, however, Semper Solaris has stood behind everything 100% and completed repairs to my satisfaction. They are always available and they always concerned about providing the best possible service And warranty coverage.

I have a Sunpower system on my house, and Semper Solaris has always gone to bat for me with Sunpower to make sure that we have the replacement parts needed, and the repairs made as soon as possible.

In particular this year I had several micro inverters fail, and Cherice With Semper Solaris stayed in touch with me throughout the entire Replacement process and interfaced with Sunpower to make sure everything happened as soon as the parts were available. In fact, Cherice went out of her way to make sure my roof was mapped and provided to Sunpower which allowed me to take advantage of per panel monitoring of my entire system, which wasn't available at the time I purchased in 2016. Now, thanks to Cherice. I am able to look at the production from every single paneland problems if they come up as soon as possible.

I would highly recommend Semper Solaris to anybody looking for a solar panel system.

In my opinion, one of the most important factors of owning a solar panel system, is follow up in service after the sale. Semper Solaris really comes through in that regard.

Zach and his team did a phenomenal job installing the backup battery system on the side of the house and the solar panels on the roof. What was amazing was the fact everything was done in one day. Angel came out later and programmed the system and later showed me how to install the app on my iPhone. He explained what the system was doing and when it was done then I have to wait until SDGE approves the permission to operate. Thank you Semper Solaris for having a great team. Hooah!

We had an HVAC system installed by Semper Solaris and we can't say enough about the expertise shown by the crew including Joe, Julio and Mauricio. They are courteous and knowledgeable about their work. They made sure they kept our flooring clean by placing drop cloths everywhere they would be working. Highly recommend Semper Solaris for any HVAC, Solar or roofing work.

If I could leave negative stars I would

Avoid at all costs!
We hired Semper to put on solar and the roofing company forgot the membrane between the panels and the house -
Hundreds of gallons of water flooded our drywall and then mold set in.
The company has been abysmal at best.
Laura, our supposed project manager has zero idea how to remedy the situation. She doesn't follow up, hides from calls, won't process expenses, incompetent.
She doesn't speak to the contractors so there are major communication issues and delays.
There is no one to help the customer
After canceled summer plans we are their mercy here - delay after delay -
We are owed thousands of dollars in the SdGE reimbursements, solar loss, landscape soil and drain cleaning (painters dumped paint in our gardens and grass drains), upholstery cleaning from mold, floor tile repair from water damage, etc
Disaster - and no one seems to care after they make the sale.
This mess has been going on for months with little no resolution
Avoid this company like the plague

After calling different companies we decided to go with Semper Solaris because of Antonio Orozco.
We had our roof underlayment removed and replaced. The process was straightforward and Antonio explained everything to us. The crew showed up on the installation day and were very clean and friendly. They did a good job of keeping the area clean. Semper Solaris is a company we can trust, and Antonio is now part of our family. With the new roof installed, we are now adding solar and battery to our home. We will have blackout protection which we are very excited about!
