After three months of failed attempts to reboot our old Enphase monitoring unit, we finally contacted Semper Solaris for help. Both customer service agents were very helpful and scheduled Jeff to assist us. Jeff was exceedingly professional and polite (besides being very punctual). He addressed all of our concerns in simple terms and helped us with ordering a new Enphase LSD to replace our burned out unit! Both Jeff and his supervisor Tim provided topnotch service.
Semper Solaris installed our panels when they were just a brand new company and have years of experience under their belts (or roofs). With so many solar companies to choose from, we can assure you that you can depend on this company.

Would definitely recommend this company. Rhami came by and right off the bat made me feel comfortable by asking if he should take his shoes off. Now that shows respect ! I'm not very familiar with terminology in this field but he broke everything down and explained things in terms I could understand easily. Rhami is very easy to work with and I felt no pressure from him whatsoever, thanks for making my first solar experience a pleasant one.

He was super professional, helpful with all of our question, beyond informative on the solar panels, and perfectly broke down how much we would save with the service. I wish I could give 0 star.

So I signed my contract on 5/31 price $26,000 with a lending company. The project manager kept telling me to sign it before 6/1 to get the good price since they would raise it starting 06/01.

After 17 days, I have heard nothing from them besides 1 guy came checking my roof but I heard nothing from him after that. I asked if my loan got approved after 17 days, the PM said I was approved. And guess what Else he said, :""oh by the way, the price for your project is $28,000 now NOT $26,000 because I ( the PM made a mistake) for not adding the picture frame price. I suggest you take it. It would have been $4,500"". And he did not call me to say that. I was the one to call to follow up.

Are you kidding me? The contract said $26,000 and now they just raised the price????? I emailed him and said no big deal if the company had to get that price, then just cancel my contract. I won't ask your company to honor the original price. I have lost trust in your company period. I emailed him on Monday and now Thursday 7/1/2021 midnight, after 4 whole day, I have not received a reply from him or Semper Solaris. Shame on you!!!!!!! He was very good at sending me reminder to sign my contract like everyday the week before I signed my contract. So I have wasted 6 weeks and gosh know how long more to resolve this issue with this company. I could got my solar installed next month but Semper Solaris wasted my time and I wonder when I can get my solar. I seriously want to get my solar installed with another company. I have signed my contract for $26,000. Just get me out of the contract please!!!!! You guys can't just decide to raise the price by $2,000 then no communication. Shame on you!!! Shame on you!!!! I have my emailed and texts to prove.

Semper Solaris has so many great reviews that's why I chose it in the first place. I am so disappointed in this company. Stay away from Semper Solaris people!!!! I have warned you!!!!!!!!

Great company to work with, Rhami took his time explaining the proper steps in order to get solar placed on my house. He took his time going over spreadsheet data that explained the most cost-effective way to maximize my solar use. I highly recommend this company and ask for Rhami he's very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.

Can't say enough good things about these guys. Just about the best buncha guys you could ask for in a work crew. Fast, courteous, respectful, and neat. They did good work and even took care of a few boo boos while they were up there .

They explained everything they were gonna do and how they were do it. They even asked my opinion on some aesthetic choices. Things they could've easily just done whichever way was easiest without even asking me.

The whole crew has a very close, friendly,and honest vibe. Great experience overall.

We selected semper Solaris as they are a reputable company and came with recommendations. I can't tell you how disappointed I am. Currently we have Paid them the full amount of $27k to install solar. They have done that part. But they have left us high and dry as to having WORKING solar. Install begun May 3rd and we still cannot use our solar. Communication is terrible!! They do things like tell you someone is showing up then no one does then they call and say whatever reason and says they'll come the next day.

Installers cursed in front of my two year old and would turn on power tools while we were speaking to them a couple of feet away. The foreman was LAZY and always wanted to take the short cut to save complicated install even if it was what was agreed upon before starting the project. They tried to take short cuts without considering the cosmetics and functionality of your home (let's put all this equipment right in the middle of your walkway! SMH) . Nothing really went as planned as the permits didn't show the correct wall for install either.

I forgave all those things and was just so relieved when the install was finished. I would say at that point they actually had a happy customer. They remediated what they could cosmetically. The guys were overall polite and professional apart from a the couple of mishaps I mentioned.

So issue now is that we wait, weeks and weeks go by and nothing until we chase them up and it turns out someone didn't dot their i's and cross their T's as they put the wrong address on the permit so SDGE can't turn it on. What??!!!! So no one has contacted us in almost a week since that bombshell. We paid $27k for some hunk of stuff attached to our house but who knows when it will be turned on?! Why won't they update us without having to chase them down? It really feels like it's because they have our money and that's it they're dusting off their hands of us and now they claim it's beyond their control while I feel like they were negligent and didn't pay attention to the details which is why the mistake happened. Pretty amateur to not even try to make up for their mistake. No compensation while all this summer generation they sold us on is passing us by with no end in sight with this nightmare! We are quite upset about it all.

About 30 minutes after I wrote the negative review about Semper Solaris, their customer service contacted me and wanted to correct the situation. And they did. They were on top of it from then on. Batteries are installed and I'm glad things turned out the way they did. They have a very supportive customer service. Thank you Semper Solaris!

This is a preliminary review. I have been doing battle with the HOA board for two years plus. One contractor has thrown in the towel and the first contractor seems to be at a dead end when it comes to the next step dealing with the boards ever changing requirements.

My first meeting with Char was pleasant and reassuring and very professional. communication has been outstanding and it definitely seems like she/they are up to the challenge.

If the rest of the efforts dealing with the board go as well as expected I think i may have solar before the rebates completely evaporate.

Looking forward to working with Char and the rest of the team.
