I was cold called by Select HI and got a sales demo. I ended up signing a contract for 9 new Anlin windows in my home. There was a sales tactic to offer substantial discount if I signed the contract that day, else, the cost would go up. So, I signed, paid $100 deposit and completed loan application for the job. Two weeks later, I got a lower cost quote from a well established local contractor I preferred for Simonton windows. I called the Select H.I. main office and talked to the contract manager. I explained my desire to cancel the contract. Since my windows had not been ordered, he allowed me to get out of my contract even though the cancellation time window had passed. He even refunded my $100 deposit. The contract manager was very reasonable and professional.

I just had 20 windows & 1 French door installed by the Fairfield team on Wednesday 4/17. The work was scheduled for 2 days possible 3 if needed. I was gone at work all day and when I got home (my son was there helping to move stuff out of their way) they had the job completely done. I was so amazed!!
Eli and his Team did a wonderful job!!!!!! I can't say enough good words about everyone I have deal with from this company!! Starting with Noah Reeve the sales person that first came to our home to show us their windows.To Dani in the office who scheduled our job. Sean Steele also came out when the crew first showed up to go over things with my son and then Eli & his ""Awesome"" crew!!!!
I highly recommend this company to anyone & everyone that wants great quality windows. The price is a little more but you get what you pay for. They have a life time warrenty.
I'm so excited to start having a cooler house in the summer and a warmer house in the winter. I have a two story home with vaulted ceilings. I have lived in it since it was new 28 years ago. The house is hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It will help greatly on my utility bill too.
I chose the class that is slightly tinted and will keep all of the heat out. Their demonstration of the glass is amazing!! I also got privacy glass on a few windows and they are beautiful too. They have about 6 options to choose from.
A few of my windows are the type that slide up and down. The new version of these that I chose are really neat because you can have them open at the top and bottom at the same time. I love this option!!! They are all secure and will be so easy to clean too.
You just have to give them a call if you need windows to see Noah's demonstration. He does an exceptional job answering all of your questions and explaining all of the details to you.

First off, these guys are not exactly local. All communication comes from Los Angeles. Windows are partially produced there too. This was a huge problem for me because they were not able to see the actual job. Yes, they had guys who represented them here but all interactions and decisions were done by phone to LA. My issue is that when the scaffolding company came to install, someone opened my slider and stole my Apple Watch in the bathroom. I quickly called mgmt in Los Angeles and he immediately defended the scaffolding company without instead of helping me! He said, the scaffolding is too far from your patio and it would be impossible for that to have happened. I took photos. The scaffolding was only 12 inches from my patio! I could actually touch it from my patio. They could have easily gotten in. This is a huge issue. Los Angeles could not see what I was talking about. They never offered a replacement. Took zero responsibility. I talked to another scaffolding company who were working on a condo just 3 doors down from my condo. I asked if they could climb over. He said yes. Their scaffolding was 28 inches from the patio! Then he showed me by demonstrating. SH has absolutely horrible customer service so be aware that they will not defend you if it happens to you!

Also, I was told by their sales rep that I would get a commission for giving them the job. I even called LA and asked them. Nobody got back to me. Sales rep was on the ball to get the job but then after writing him twice about a commission check, etc. I got no response.

Also, be prepared to get a house full of sawdust and drywall dust all across your rooms. I phoned LA after the job and complained. They agreed to pay for cleaning but why didn't they offer it up front? I had to chase them down. I suggested that they tell owners that this will occur BEFORE the job and that they would offer cleaning afterwards.

Overall I don't trust these guys and will not recommend them to the two neighbors I had told the sales rep about, who are currently looking.

Yesterday was had 15 Anlin windows installed by Select Home Improvements. When we first requested to meet with the sales rep, we were very hesitant - Noah Reeve (the sales rep from Fairfield) was very low key and we became comfortable doing business with him. The windows were then measured by Sean, the crew supervisor, and after a few weeks we were ready to move forward. When the installation crew arrived, we immediately saw an extremely hard-working crew of men. By the end of the install, we had welcomed Eli, Serge, Boris and Achmed into our home and felt like we had made great friends. We could not have been more pleased with their work and manner. Thank you Select Home Improvements for the quality window install. They are gorgeous.

I had a great experience with Select Home Improvements. I met with Noah who was referred to me by my aunt. He explained the Anlin windows in great detail to me and my sister. We ended up getting 10 windows and a sliding glass door done in one day. The workers installed the windows with great care and cleaned up the areas after the project was done. Noah Reeves and Bill Stein were both very nice and professional, and were very pleasant to work with. Our house is cooler when it's hot, and the windows block a lot of the outside noise. We love our brand new windows! Thank you so much!

I had this company do HVAC and windows. But they need better communication and professionalism. The HVAC did not pass inspection and as of today the reinspection cannot be scheduled due to the rain. The ""contractors"" are from 2 hours away and nobody checks their work. I had issues with both the HVAC crew and the window crew. I'm still waiting for a screen replacement on one of the windows. The financial company is long distance in Oregon. I certainly had a different experience than some of these glowing reviews. I will be glad when I am finished with this company. Also I have no idea who to contact for the warranties. Haven't seen any copies. Hopefully I will get a copy and contact no.

I live in the ""historic"" district in Napa, and had lovely wood grid windows. However, they were the original windows from 1948 (single pane, with ropes & weights to help them go up and down). That said, my PG&E bills were getting out of hand. I was contacted by Select Home Improvements, and they sent Noah to show me new windows (Anlin Del Mar Series) that were super energy efficient and improved sound proofing (I live on a busy street). And best of all, they look great. I noticed immediately that it was warmer and cozier in my house once they were installed.

Noah has been so great to work with. Very knowledgeable, honest, and made me very comfortable moving forward with the purchase. One of the best things I have done for my house!

I will definitely work with Select Home Improvements (& Noah) again in the future on my next big project!
