""Cheats with fluent Lies"".. I had a bad experience with Calvin from Selah Roofing. In November 2020, I contacted calvin of Selah Roofing for my home roof inspection. Inspection cost was $120, however he charged me $150. When I asked him why he charged more, he responded that he will refund me back $30 if I write a positive review about him and his company. I wrote a review as per his request and asked for the refund. He stated giving excuses and at one point stopped responding to my msgs and to my calls. Though the money is not big for me, I felt cheated. His service regarding my roof inspection was below par and his estimates are very high compared to others. Honestly ""Don't waste your time with Calvin or with Selah Roofing"".

I called Selah Roofing and am thoroughly impressed after their visit. Carlos showed up at my house on time. He introduced himself, and was very professional, well spoken, and knowledgeable. After physically checking the attic and the roof, he went on to discuss all aspects of the job from beginning to end. He was very helpful and explained everything clearly. He answered all my questions without a hint of impatience, nor did he hand wave away or casually dismiss any of my concerns. He also brought along samples of the materials that will be used, and explained, step by step, the procedures they will take to complete the job. I absolutely recommend giving them a call if you're thinking of replacing your roof.

My wife and reached out to Calvin to help us with a roof inspection for a home we are purchasing. An inspector advised us to hire a roofing expert after noticing some deficiencies. Calvin was professional, on time, knowledgeable, and very helpful. He was able to provide us with all the answers we needed to help make a sound decision. When Carlos Chavarin came to do a roof inspection, I knew I had finally found the right roofing company. Not only was he the only inspector who included the attic as part of the inspection (without me having to tell them to check it out), Carlos also created a detailed diagram of my roof that pinpointed the issues he found and allowed me to visualize the work he recommended.

I was a bit worried that the roof workers themselves wouldn't be as good as Carlos. Thankfully, I was wrong. The roof workers came early in the morning to check the roof to see what materials they would need. After going to the hardware store, they began working on the roof. They finished on time and did a great job. They left some debris that they said they'd come back the next day to pick up, which they did.

Unfortunately, an issue did arise when the roof workers painted the vent pipes and flashing on the roof to match my roof shingles. That would have been completely fine and even amazing, but the issue was that I had just installed a new water heater enclosure and flue vent pipe. They painted the flue vent pipe, but I had wanted that one to stay it's natural steel color. I would have mentioned this to the workers had I known or had they told me they were going to paint all the roof pipes and flashing. When I told Carlos if he could help me replace it, he arranged to have the vent pipe replaced free of charge. I was pleasantly surprised at this and appreciated it a lot!

In summary, great roofing company! Their workers are hard working and reliable and the work itself is great. And the customer service aspect is excellent as well.

My home needs a new roof. Talking with Selah on the phone, I'm excited to have them come over to provide us with an estimate. A few days later, a Selah representative knocks on our door. My dad answers as I'm in a meeting (working from home). The representative asks for me. My dad lets him know I'm working, but the ladder is ready for the representative to take a look at our roof. (My dad is so accommodating.) The representative tells him that it ""won't work"" as my dad's not the one that will be making the final decision. (Why would the representative assume that?) My dad tells him again that I'm working, but the representative is welcome to take a look at the roof. The representative once again states that it ""won't work"" and leaves. Without bringing race/ethnicity into this, is this how Selah gains customers? Well, that tactic isn't going to work with us. Potential business lost. I'm upset with how that representative disrespected my father.

Carlos and everyone at Selah were extremely professional, reliable, and got our job done on time and at a very reasonable price. They did not try to upsell me for an issue with the roof above an ""add-on"" section of my house. Communication, scheduling, and the work itself were all top-notch. We were able to get the work done quickly and I was excited for rain to test the quality of the job. No more leaks, and the water actually drained into our gutters! I will use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs any size job done for their roof!

Not good not good. Somebody suppose to come today between 9 to 12 no call no show. Not good at all. You don't let people wait that is very disrespectful. It will only take 30 secs to call and leave a message if you cannot make it. That is why I have a feeling all this review are from paid agency posting a positive review. Yelp has to do a better job in vetting reviews.
Got a call from Selah after I posted my review and they are saying that I may have mistaken them for another Company. No I did not. I don't have Alzheimers yet I'm only 58 a professional. But I received a curse over the phone. He said they have everything recorded. Mentioned to him I hope the other party is aware. I started looking over other reviews and it seems I'm not the only one with a no call no show. Don't ever call me on my phone again or I will take legal action for harassment.
