We had a roof leak that proceeded to get worse month over month and had the HARDEST time finding reliable roofing help. We must've tried at least 4 different roofers who all were flaky, non committal and didn't seem to care about our problem at all. We were so lucky to have found Edgar and the Secured Roofing crew. Within 24 hours of contact, Edgar came by for a consultation, diagnosed our problem and sent us a quote (which was quite reasonable in comparison to what we heard from other providers over the phone). The same week, Edgar's crew came to do the job and were on time, efficient and polite. The work was high quality and just passed the test through one of the hardest rain storms of the year. We needed a new roof and our neighbor recommended Secured Roofing. They weren't the cheapest or expensive, just right in the middle. Edgar came out and gave an estimate and explained the process. We agreed to the price and sent in the deposit with a signed contract. It took 2 days and we have a beautiful roof. He didn't do anything with the deposit until the roof was finished and we gave him the remaining amount. They came at the exact time and cleaned up the area surrounding our house. What impressed me the most was when he came to give us the quote, he brought his own ladder when other roofers used our ladder to climb up to the roof.

From the moment we reached out to Secured Roofing through Yelp we were pleased. Edgar Raymondo, visited our home the same day to give us a verbal estimate followed by a written one. We obtained a total of four estimates, Secured Roofing had a competitive bid, they were the most responsive, patient and friendliest. The decision making process wasn't easy since some of the other contractors came out with laptops showing us their training programs, colorful laminated photos of projects, and photos of their corporate headquarters etc...but, when we would reach out to them with a question, we wouldn't hear back for a day or two. We even encountered multiple errors in the other (corporate) contracts. Secured Roofing/ Edgar said what he did and did what he said. We contacted him multiple times via email, texts and or phone call for questions and amazingly each and every time he responded immediately. He was on the job site each day with his crew either checking in or actually working along their side. At the beginning of the project we even added three solar fans to keep the attic temp down during the hot Valley months. Edgar provided his recommendation, we did some research and gave him the green light to purchase and install. I hope to never have to reroof in my lifetime, but if we have to, I'd call Edgar and Secured Roofing without a doubt. Edgar is very professional and easy to communicate with via text or call. He and his team worked quickly and handled everything on their own. Very little was needed from us except to help pick colors. He sent pictures throughout the project, and re-roofing the entire 1,200 sqft house only took 3 days start to finish. We hired Secured Roofing for another roofing project at my house. Edgar came to the property the same day I contacted him. Within 30 minutes, he was on the property with his crew and inspecting my roof. After the inspection, he provided a reasonable quote and we hired him on the spot due to our previous experience and his fair estimate. He explained what needed to be done and scheduled his workman to come back within the next hour with the new roofing underlayment and materials. The guy starred at around 9'ish and was done before 1'ish. It was a medium size job. He removed 1/4 of my rear concrete roof and installed a new underlayment from the ridge to the bottom of the roof. He cleaned the job site when the project was complete. Roof looks great. It is scheduled to rain in the coming weeks and I will update my review on how my roof takes the rain. I asked Edgar to send photos of my before and after roof and he said he would ask his guy for them. I'm still waiting for them. This is a great roofing repair company to work with. Work comes with 1-yr warranty.

We just had our roof and gutters replaced. We received four different estimates, and Edgar's was the most competitive, by a lot. He was friendly and very knowledgeable about his trade. The job was permitted and Edgar took care of that. The completed work looks great, specially the gutters. The job consisted of tearing down the old shingles and they were replaced with the LA City Code confirming shingles, which are supposed to be better at reflecting solar radiation. Edgar also installed a solar powered attic fan which I can verify (from going into the attic,) that it works extraordinarily better than the old-school turbine fans. The new roof definitely helps to keep the house cooler. Our air conditioning usage has gone down, instead of kicking on at around 9am it goes on at around 1pm. The seamless gutters that were installed look really good as well. Much better than the plastic ones we had there before. I would definitely recommend Secured Roofing to anyone.

Edgar is knowledgeable, energetic, and dependable. He did such a good job on the house we were selling that we had him do my parents' house, too. Then, he went on to do my son's, son-in-law's, and a couple of friends. I have seen him in action many times now. I highly recommend him. He was able to do solar-powered roof vents, too. He communicates promptly, his prices are fair, and you can rely on a great outcome!

I did extensive research and obtained several roofing quotes before deciding on Secured Roofing, who provided a reasonable quote and did an exceptional job on my full roof replacement. The crew showed up on time every morning at 7:30am and cleaned up at the end of each day. Edgar was extremely friendly, responsive, knowledgeable and patient as I bombarded him with many questions regarding the roofing process. Any minor issues were always addressed/repaired quickly and graciously without question. I am also grateful that Edgar recommended that I install Therma Sheet which helps reduce the temperature below the roof deck to keep the attic cooler to help save energy/money.
