If you have months to wait while your roof gets damaged by the elements and animals, and if you like being treated with disrespect, this is the company for you. They might not be the worst, but they are very not the best. Keep looking.

Had a roof leak after heavy rains. I have a tile roof so we had to wait until the rain stopped before they could safely inspect. Duncan came to inspect and as it turns out, I needed a bigger boot. He shared lots of pictures which helped me make an informed decision. I had comparable bids but Duncan's patience with my many many questions, his sense of pride, knowledge and expertise, and the fact that because there was rain in the forecast before our next appt date, he provided a temporary fix at no additional charge. It rained cats and dogs and that roof didn't leak a bit. I highly recommend Ballantyne roofing for your time roof needs.

This is the only company I want working on our complex tile roof. Duncan Ballantyne (who runs the business now) has done multiple repairs and other work in our house over the last 10 years and is a good example of a high-integrity business manager whose company does quality work.

We have many irregular peaks, valleys, and intersections in our Mediterranean tile roof. Duncan's team has made many robust repairs and recommended certain modifications that have better protected our home and added value.

As with many roofers, it can be a delay in getting work done from this company. But I am always pleased with the work and Duncan is a pleasure to work with.
