something fishy about this company. A rep came out to my house, gave me a quote with a telephone number and email address.

1. I tried emailing him back, email address failed. [email protected]
2. I tried calling his cell, (727) 597-2532 - routed me to another company.
3. I tried calling SCM Roofing and reverified the telephone number from the written quote with the web page: phone no longer in service. (855) 726-7663

When I called the other company, 727-443-3369 the guy worked there but they said I had the wrong guy. Now I am questioning the other company as well. https://www.gulfeaglesupply.com/

When I searched Brad A Blanton at SCM Roofing, Gulf Eagle Supply came up. The same number the rep cell phone message led me to.

wrong ,Mmmmmm could have called and verified,probably didn't get my number correct either. At this point I'd be afraid to hire them,, for fear they would show up and install my new roof at the wrong address.

SCM Roofing is a very professional and ethical roofing company. They put a new roof on my home last December ahead of the scheduled date. They were done in one long day and cleaned up the property very nicely. I also used their company to do some repairs to the wood around our chimney and where the soffits had been damaged.

Their pricing is competitive and the tradesmen are always reliably on time and do a wonderful job. Brian is responsive to text and calls and gets back in touch very quickly. I had an issue with one of my skylights on a holiday weekend and he had a team over to fix the issue within 24 hours!

I would recommend them and will use them for any future needs.

I phoned SCM after reading other reviews. Jacob was our rep and he was extremely helpful and courteous. We never had to replace a roof so there were a lot of unknowns. Jacob was patient and kept us informed along the way. The work crew arrived early and worked all day in this hot Tampa sun. The roof was nearly completed in one day with a few things left the next morning. We no longer have to worry about the big rains! We also had attic fans installed and we can feel the difference with our AC. A new roof is not an inexpensive undertaking so don't have regrets... call Jacob at SCM!

SCM replaced the roof of our house about 5 years ago. They were timely and reasonably priced, and we were satisfied with their work. However, when we went to sell the place a couple months ago the buyer hired a home inspector, who found shingles of the 5 year old roof had patches of shingles that looked to be about 30 years old. We determined it was probably a manufacturers defect with the shingles, and no fault of SCM. When we called SCM to remedy the situation, we had to leave a voicemail. The next day we received a call back indicating the lady thought we wanted an estimate. I told her about the shingle problem and she said she'd have to speak to the owner and she would call me back. It has been about three weeks since she told me that and I still have not heard back from SCM. I would not recommend SCM since they apparently don't stand by their work.

Because of the pandemic this past year, shingle roof manufacturers had scaled down on the availability of shingles and colors. Some colors have a long backlog and others are available immediately. Robbie from SCM Roofing (phone: 813-301-0865) is up to date on what is available, listens to your needs, follows through, and he is a very knowledgeable, courteous, dependable and competent professional. I trust and like the GAF Timberline HDZ shingles, and I pleasantly settled for the pewter gray color shingles installed by SCM roofing in May 2021. The new pewter gray shingles look sharp and make a good contrast against my white house. SCM Roofing crew did an average job installing and cleaning up the site after installation.

The roofers did some mistakes like shingling over a wood board with large protruding upwards splinter causing a bulge below the shingles, which after I mentioned it, they came back and repaired it. The installers also took my aluminum roof vents, which aluminum now a days is worth some money, and instead replaced them with cheap black coated steel roof vents. Though the cheap black coated roof vents match the pewter gray roof better, do to weather they don't last as long as pure aluminum, etc.

I would say SCM Roofing job was average considering some issues I encountered with the installation. What good I have to say about SCM Roofing is that the salesman Robbie is a good person and would try to help you address some of the shingle options, color availability and SCM installer roofers issues. .

Excellent company and staff. Robbie Brown responded very quickly to our estimate request. Inspected the roof and other details and provided a detailed estimate with several options. Answered all our questions quickly and accurately.
Our daughter who also worked with Robbie and used this company to replace her roof was very satisfied as well.

Even more importantly, the work his team did was very high quality and met my expectations. They also got the job done very quickly and efficiently, which I appreciated (along with my neighbors) so we could get back to our normal routine.
