So, I recently had some serious water intrusion in my basement when my neighbor's waterline broke. I was up all night soaking up water and desperate to find the leak. I was relieved when I found it but I knew I had to do something more permanent to prevent another flooding. So I called and got a bunch of estimates. I went with Saunders Construction because:

1) I got a good vibe from Vince (owner). I felt like I could trust him; and he showed himself to be genuine, transparent, kind and reverent; really down to earth;
2) Fair and reasonably priced.
3) I felt his dry basement system strategy was more permanent and effective compared to some of the other bids I received.

The job was completed in only 4 days! And, included cutting and breaking concrete, digging long trenches thru hard pan and roots, installing a French drain with sum pump, running rebar and waterproof barriers, repouring and finishing the cement and dump hauls.

The job they did looks great and I'm actually not dreading the next rainy season!

Had Vince and crew out to install a granite countertop. When they went to go pick out the countertop from the store that I picked it from, Vince found a few large chips in the granite. Vince was able to talk to the countertop suppliers and had it easily changed out to another slab of granite. So thankful to Vince for doing this! Saved a lot of time, hassle, and money. Especially from a place that says absolutely no returns once purchased. Saunders Construction was only one of two companies I could find that would install this countertop on the existing cabinets I had. Only one of the few that would replace some dry rot inside as well. So much thanks to Saunders Construction and helping with getting my remodel back on track. They were so good, I hired them again for some exterior dry rot as well. Great price, great guys, great work!

Vince and his team helped us level our wooden subfloor in just a few hours. He visited our home, gave us a cost estimate via email and put us on his schedule after I accepted. Even though we were a small job, he worked diligently and treated our home like it was his. His team is a great general contractor.
