Updating my original review. Yes, originally I was happy but as time has gone on and an issue here or here has occurred it is a tremendous hassle to get responses and follow through from Santex Roofing, and this isnt the 1st or 2nd time I have had this issue with them after the fact either- plus this has been going on for months.
This being said, I am having an issue getting 2 of my rain diverters replaced and a drip edge inspected/repaired. Due to the warranty I was told by Alonso III I cannot have other companies or myself complete work on the roof, no nails or adjustments etc. Okay, thats not an issue, I happily instructed the siding company to please leave that rain diverter damage- I will get with Santex to get the repair completed (gotta keep that warranty intact).
Unfortunately, playing phone tag and chasing replies around for several months really lets me know the importance of the customer and the warranty. Its finally its to the point I get NO reply at all. I get this isnt a big job that's going to dump $$$ into their pockets. But it now becomes a issue with this company's integrity, when you have a customer stuck like this with a situation when each time it rains additional damage could be done to the roof I did pay for... its a real shame. I do now have several regrets of utilizing this company for my roof.
I really wish it was possible to have a level of maturity and customer respect towards simple tasks and/or customer service. At this point I have severe doubts as to the integrity of my warranty all together. The warranty I have tiptoed a fine line to maintain so fully. Keep in mind the drip edges and rain diverters are on my all my paperwork from this company.

Yes, the roof was great at first, but if you ever need anything after the fact or follow through - BEWARE

My roof was getting old and I was looking for a reasonable price and quality work. I got a couple of estimates that were higher than I liked. I called Santex Roofing and the owner Alonzo gave me an estimate that was in my budget. The work was done very professionally and better than I expected. Every nail and piece of roofing was picked up and taken away. Have Alonso give you an estimate you will be glad you called them.

I had issues with getting Santex Roofing to do Warranty work. the Warranty stated 25 years parts and labor.
- There were curling shingles visible right after installation 2 years ago. They convinced me that sun and time would make them lie down.
- Recently, those shingles (and other issues) were blockers to selling the house that I agreed to have fixed prior to closing.
- It took 6 calls to them to get any live person on the phone (I left messages on both phone numbers listed on the card).
- The owner's wife answered the sixth call. She asked me to email information to the owner.
- 10 days and 3 phone calls later, I got ahold of him - he admitted treating my email as spam. He did review the inspection photos while we were on the phone, stating that some of the work MIGHT be covered by warranty and promised to get me an estimate by the end of the week. It has now been over a month and I am still waiting on that response.
- 2 more phone call/voice messages later (I want to emphasize that they NEVER called me back during this process) I gave up.
- I went to another roofer to avoid losing the sale of my house and paid $1500 for the repairs.
I advise against using Santex Roofing, even if you can get ahold of them. Their Warranty means nothing.

In 1993,we had hail damage on our former residence. We found Mr. Lopez and Santex Roofing at a home near ours. We asked him to come by and give us an estimate. Mr. Lopez gave us the addresses of several house he had just re-roofed, and we talked to those home owners. After hearing what those home owners had to say, we contracted with Mr. Lopez to do our roof. Fast forward to 2017 - we were getting ready to go solar, but needed a new roof, prior to the installation of the solar panels. We were so glad to see Santex Roofing is alive and well - so we gave them a call. Mr. Lopez remembered our house, remembered my husband and gave us a bid for the roof. It was completed in one day and the site was immaculately cleaned. We also had him re-roof our former house. His prices are fair and reasonable; his crew is fast and professional. We strongly recommend Mr. Lopez and Santex Roofing.

My roof is beautiful! Just had the 3D, 30 year shingles put on my steep, Tudor style roof. What a difference a day makes! Ok...and a few $$$. They were finished in a day and a half and I am one happy customer! Thank you Al!

My dad just hired these guys to redo his roof. After he waited for months, they finally came along and left the materials - sitting on the roof. Than after another couple of weeks, they actually replaced the old roofing material. At first, their boss was going to have the crew do a half-way job of replacing the sheathing, without putting in a couple of extra two-by-fours to add some much-needed support structure underneath, but fortunately their foreman (the guy actually in charge of the job, not in charge of their accounting) offered to help out my dad, and do the right thing anyway. Even so, some of the scrap material from the old roof in the front part of the house (where you can easily see it from the street) wasn't properly cleaned off before putting on the new shingles, and now there's some very visible lumps here and there. I have to admit, I was disappointed when I saw the finished result. Not sure if it will keep out the water, or not. My dad called them to come back and fix it properly (he's too old to get up there himself), and they only said they'd ""look into it"", but they haven't done anything since. Maybe they will actually come back and do it right. I sure hope so. If they do, I'll be happy to revise this review to reflect that.

Another roofer came along and saw the end result the other day. I think he was surprised that SANTEX would do that kind of work. He said ""You mean, they're going to leave it like THAT???""

Highly recommend! From estimate to clean-up, I had an excellent experience with Santex staff. Great communication via both phone and text with Mr. Gallo. Nice polite crew showed up at the very minute they said they'd be here, and their number was adequate for 1-day removal and replacement of a huge roof. They did a meticulous clean-up afterward. Very fair price.

I attempted in May to get an estimate. They took my information and said someone would contact me within a week to schedule which was odd. It's June and still no call. This is why so many companies from out of town are getting so much work.

Replaced roof shingles with Owens Corning 25 yr warranty, approx. 27 squares in just one day. Removed wind turbines and installed 5 static metal attic vents (so I don't have to get up on the roof again), Two other companies didn't even know about these metal vents. They also replaced and resealed all pipe base flashing, roof jacks and valley metals. The crew really sweep the yard with a magnet looking for nails. The only one I found was under their trailer after they left.

The owner Alonso Lopez was great. Professional, on-time, kept me informed all along the way. I was concerned about weak decking under the roof but they didn't find any rotten boards and didn't need to replace any plywood.

Santex Roofing was also the lowest of three different bids I received. I would highly recommend them!

Very disappointed with how we have been treated. We spent a substantial dollar amount with Santex Roofing for a complete roof replacement, opting for a variety of their recommended upgrades, and we are still experiencing a roof leak. I have been unsuccessful in getting them to resolve the problem, or even provide a return call. Cannot recommend.
