The peace of mind of over 65 years in the roofing business and a very competitive quote made it an easy decision to choose San Joaquin Roofing. Outstanding communication with the staff every step of the way. They were fast yet very meticulous about there work. Travis helped with deciding on a color and the one he suggested, Black Oak, was perfect. He noticed that the hints of red would accent our brick wainscoat, and it does beautifully. I was so happy with their work that I was glad to be able to treat them to lunch today as they finished up. From start to finish the job was done in about 22 hours! Amazing!

The staff at San Joaquin Roofing are amazing. Travis and Laramie are two of the nicest people I have met in a long time. They tore down and reinstalled our roof in about 1 1/2 days. Our new roof looks amazing.

I needed a two year roof certification to complete the sell of my home. I called San Joaquin Roofing and they sent an inspector out on 10/8. I agreed to the needed repairs to my roof which mainly consisted of re-roofing the small patio on the back of my home. I was told that they would be at my home the next week to make the needed repairs, but would not confirm a day to complete the work. After calling the office the next week to see when they would be out, someone called me back on Wednesday and said they will be out the following week! Again the following week, now week two, I called again to see what day they would be out to make the repairs, and yet again they would not confirm a day. Instead the office had one of the roofers call me back and he said we HOPE to get to you by Thursday. This did not set well with me as my escrow was scheduled to close soon and if they had been honest with me in the first place and said they were to busy and couldn't get to me for two weeks I would've scheduled another company to do the work. So after complaining and reminding them of how many times they had assured me over the last two weeks that they'd be out to make the repairs, he promised to be out to do the work by Thursday. Luckily, they had a 'cancelation' on Tuesday and came out, did the work, and left. Now let me show you what, two guys, four hours of work, materials for a small patio, and 3,800$ will get ya. A MIXED MATCHED ROOF! I'm sure if they looked hard enough they could've found roofing material CLOSE in color to the existing roof. After all... I did. But they couldn't use the roofing material I already had!

Gary Hardy came out and inspected my tile roof and gave me an estimate. We set a day for the job to be done and Gary was the one who did the work. A top notch job and I would recommend the company for any roofing job.

Larry, Travis.... and Greg from EconoAir and all the crews worked well together to fix and re-shingle a 65 year house and install a new air conditioner...the weather was unusually wet this May but all work completed...no problems...big thanks to everyone for a job well done.....

I would not even bother giving them 1 star, but Yelp forced me to click the button before I could post. I want to let everyone know about them before you decide to go with them for your roofing concerns. Absolutely horrible customer service and truly do not care about their customers at all. I would never call them back nor refer them to a friend or a family member. They came last year on April 30, 2018 to fix several spots on our roof that were causing leaks. We paid them their high quote and figured that the leaks were behind us. Since the rain recently hit again, the same spots were leaking barely over a year later. Again, today, we called out one of their estimators and they wanted more money from us to fix the same warranty problem. They claimed we were over their year warranty just by a month, and they will not even offer us a discount to fix the same problem that they should have fixed in the first place. They are a company that once they have your money, they run and take it without even caring about doing the right thing. My husband called the estimator two times today and all he was told back is that, ""You are out of your warranty."" I am very disappointed in their customer service and lack of care to do what is right! All I want as a good paying customer, is for the problem to be fixed and for the company to do what is right if they didn't fix it in the first place. I don't really feel that I am asking too much. I feel like if I turned it on them, would they want their own home to have a roof problem where they paid good money to get it fixed, and all the company did was say, ""nope, we don't care, too bad for you!?""

I contacted San Joaquin Roofing thinking they must be doing a great job if they have been in business for 62 years, like it shows on their website. After a little research I found out the company is under new owner. So new owner bought all the past good reviews. I spoke to one of their sales guys named Travis and I asked him for a estimate to replace my roof. I told him to give me price with replacing all wood no funny business. I said I don't want you to come out with extra stuff midway through the job. So when Travis came back with an estimate of $10,000 compared to $8,000 and $7,000 from other companies. I thought it was a little high but with all the reviews and pictures on their website showing them replacing all wood on roofs I thought, it's going to be worth every dollar. To my surprise when they started the job they were trying to replace the least amount of wood and said peeling facia and missing facia was not part of the cost and if I wanted facia to be replaced it was an extra cost of 2 guys for 2 days and cost of all wood. Their response was, ""you didn't say you wanted the facia replaced"". I'm not the roofing company and I thought that it was common sense and part of their job since it had dry rot and peeling paint and missing facia in some areas. Plus, I did tell them to quote replacing ALL damaged wood. How more specific should I have been? Travis later said it's not in the contract so we didn't include that in your estimate but we can do it but it's extra!! I will never use or recommend this company even to my worst enemy. I will be surprised if they last another 5 years in business doing this to people. In any business, recommendations are the name of the game!! EXPENSIVE and SHADY!!
