Marcelo and his crew did and excellent job in replacing the roof of my home here in the University City area of San Diego. It was well finished around the corners and edges. It was windy and it rained on one day they were working. They covered the exposed areas very well. They were competitively priced as well.

So I just got off the phone with a worker. I asked for someone to come for a estimate. He asked where I lived and immediately said that he is ""booked out all the way to August of next year for even a estimate"". He couldn't tell me that before he asked where I lived? So I guess were I live matters on the money or better yet if you get service. SMH.

I highly recommend San Diego Roofing for the job of removing an old roof and installing the replacement. The crew lead by Jose and his brother, William really understand roofing. They work quickly and have learned to take care of and communicate important details to the customer. Both William and Jose made me aware of problems unique to my roof that I feel other roofers, in order to save time and energy, would have ignored. Jose's extensive knowledge and experience working with electrical, plumbing, drywall and all aspects of home improvement and construction enable him to quickly solve unexpected problems which inevitably arise during the installation process. Also, we appreciated the way our estimator and main contact with the company, Gary, communicated with us on a regular basis regarding important project details.

As you evaluate potential roofers remember the crew doing the installation makes all the difference. I can, based on my experience with Jose' and his crew, highly recommend San Diego Roofing.

Fantastic experience. We installed a replacement roof on the home we just purchased prior to moving into CA. Marcelo and the gang were top notch in communication before during and after and work was top quality. Highly recommend.

I called 4 times to schedule an appt to get someone out to give me a quote to fix our roof, each time they told me they would call me back within the hour, never did. When someone finally did call me back, and I was able to make an appt, the roofer didn't show up for our appt. When I got a hold of him, I was told he was in another state and needed to reschedule. No thanks, after a month of trying to get someone out, I'll try somewhere else. Too bad, looks like if you can get someone out to your house, this company does a good job.

Marcelo was the first to respond to my voicemail and was able to quickly assess and quote the roof repair. He is knowledgeable and sincere, his prices are reasonable, and I would hire him for a job without hesitation.

This is a very belated review, but I had to wait until it rained hard before I knew whether I had made the right decision. I had! Three different companies came out and looked at the problem -- water pouring into the garage, and some spotting on the dining room ceiling. The first lot said I had to replace everything; the second lot said that it looked in decent shape but why didn't I replace the flat roof, just for the hell of it; San Diego Roofing said the roof was still sound, and they could just repair it. Price difference? -- tens of thousands of dollars. Hassle difference? -- painless two hours versus weeks of pain. And we've had lots of storms since then (not enough rain, I know, but it has come down really hard on a few occasions) and both roofs are fine. Excellent job, guys, thanks a million!

Excellent service and responsiveness! I was called back when promised, and someone was out at the scheduled time to check things out - for free. When we scheduled service, again they arrived on time and ready to work, and got it done quickly.

I also appreciated their ability to address the problem efficiently and didm;t feel like they were trying to sell any services that weren't needed, as sometimes happens with home repairs.

All in all an excellent experience and I'll be gal dot use San Diego Roofing again!

I previously wrote a review about San Diego Roofing Inc. and made a hasty error in labeling these guys as a low quality and sub-par organization. I was currently at the time not in a very good mood since I had dealt with another roofing company that had a similar website. This was the actual company that I had a bad experience with and I would encourage anyone not to do service with these people:
