After suffering with a leaky roof, even when it was new, I gave up on previous roof contractors. Then I found Mitch through neighborhood recommendations, who gave me a lifetime guarantee on a new roof. And his price was by far the best out of 3 companies' bids.
My flat roof is a challenge, but this company knows exactly what to do. And after 4 years, a small leak developed during a particularly rainy season. Mitch was at my house within a few days, even during the Xmas holidays, and the leak was repaired at no charge. And there's no leaking after a few more rains. It's such a relief not to dread a rainy day!

Mitch Hansen (owner) at San Diego Roof Savers is amazing. We moved into a new place last month and during that huge rainstorm on 12/14/21 one of the skylights was leaking. I called San Diego Roof Savers and Mitch answered the phone. Over the phone he gave me tips on how to repair it myself if I wanted to in order to save money. After I expressed some hesitation (my fear of getting on roof, not sure if I would do job correctly, etc.), he said he would come out there the next day and repair it, for FREE! The next day he showed up and refused to take any money and had his worker patch the leaky skylight, for no charge. What a business and a great guy. In this day and age, it was such a relief to find a very conscientious and caring business owner. Definitely recommended.

Called Mitch regarding a repair. Set up the appointment for the following day to get an estimate. Received a text on the day for the estimate telling me the next day would be better. Texted back that was fine. Nothing to confirm or set the new time. Texted several times asking when they were coming out. The next day I got a text at 6:30am telling me after 1. Texted back that was okay. Then I get a call mid-morning asking if it was a repair or replacement - which I already told him. And, nothing back. Poor communication and appointment scheduling.

Mitch is a straight-forward honest businessperson. He re-shingled my entire roof. His crew did good work and the low-price estimate I was quoted never went up, even when the process uncovered some previously unknown roof damage. Six years later, I had a problem with a skylight. This company is my life saver, I had leaky shingle roof just before a major winter storm, Mitch and his crew did such a fantastic job at repairing my roof just in time. My roof is good for another 10 years, that's the warranty the repair comes with.

Then on, I had no problem with my roof, if anything, they respond very quickly to address the problem.

I called San Diego Roof Savers on a Saturday during a storm - my living room ceiling had just started leaking in several spots. They were able to come out the next day (Sunday), find and fix the problem in a very short time, and didn't even charge me for it. Great service if you are in need of repairs.

These are the guys you want to put a worry free roof over your head. The owner Mitch Hansen is ""old school honest"" and there are no hidden anything.Mitch and his crew worked with me on extras and were a great crew of guys to be around. The carpenter he referred me to for the new composite fascia was a true craftsman and I could not be more pleased with the price, the work, and the solid friendship we have now and I refer him to everyone.

Not sure where it all went wrong. Mitch came out to my property and was great. He mentioned he was going to email me the invoice and that we would stay in touch to get the work done on my roof. After calling him for three days no response I texted him. Finally got a response and that's when he asked me to send him all my bids???

I called him to get more information and to let him know that I don't have any other bids because I would rather do the work with them. That's when he told me that he's not obligated to come and do the work. That he's not even sure if he wants to fix my roof and that I caught him in a very bad day. Not sure why he was so flustered and rude.

I'm glad I got to see that side of him before investing in him
