We recently noticed an issue with the roofing of the house. As new homeowners, reaching out to teams about small issues like this is nerve-wracking because so many companies are willing to exaggerate the severity of the issue to overcharge their customers.

Troy got back to us within minutes, asked for some pictures of the issue, and took time to walk me through it over the phone. He was professional, smart, and most importantly honest. No work was needed, but this company shows the moral fortitude for us to consider them for any future roofing work or issues we have.

Warning !! This review may be lengthly however I promise You it will be worth your time to read if you are in need of roofing replacement! So I developed a roof leak at our home and the existing roof was at least 25 years old so it was now time for roof replacement! I did my research and contacted the owner Troy whom was very thorough and informative during our conversation and he answered all of my concerns. The next step was to have my roof inspected, address any concerns and formulate an estimated cost for recommended repair. The estimator Dylon spent nearly 45 minutes performing a complete and thorough inspection. I have solar panels and gas lines mounted on our roof which complicated the roof replacement process. Good news is San Diego County Roofing (SDCR) partners with a great solar company and therefore de-activating the solar system, solar panel(s) removal, replacement and re-activation of the solar system is all taken care of through SDCR. Also SDCR warranties all work provided by their partnering solar company. I chose SDCR to replace my roof and what a great decision it was. I was updated and kept informed through each and every step of of the roof replacement process. I had some wood issues (rotting, worn out etc...) and the cost for the wood replacement was very reasonable. Tarps were laid out to cover our pool and artificial turf and after each day the residence was thoroughly cleaned of debris. Edgar the supervisor was always available whenever I had any questions or concerns. Also Dylon was always ""Keeping tabs"" with the progress and kept me informed of any issues and offered options when applicable. I felt very comfortable knowing that Dylon was always ""on top"" of things! Upon completion of the job, Juan invited me to view the new roof replacement and informed me of all that had been done and answered all of my questions and concerns. He even explained that my flat roof section of the garage had 2 sheets of ""roofing"" (know as ""torch down"") installed as compared to 1 sheet of roofing which most roofing companies provide, something I wouldn't have known. Everything was great and I was extremely satisfied EXCEPT one big problem! Apparently during the process of replacing my roof, a section of my newly installed artificial turf in the front of my house became damaged. I contacted Troy to discuss this big concern not knowing what to expect. After our discussion he instructed me to have the turf replaced and that I would be reimbursed for any and all cost. I had the artificial turf replaced at a cost of $2,200 and true to his word troy had a company check in the amount of $2,200 sent to my house within (1) week. So rest assured SDCR will give you phenomenal service. The company is professional, honest and transparent every step of the way from start to completion. This company has proved should something go wrong, they will make it ""right"". I highly recommend SDCR and I'm so glad I made the right choice! You should make the right choice too!

This was the first big house work needed to be done since buying the home a few years ago. We have an existing concrete tile roof, electric solar panels, and pool solar. We had roof repair done on various areas until we finally had a leak. We were told by other contractors that we probably had a good five years left on our roof (underlayment). Also, we had damage from termites/wood rot. We decided on the ""Life & Relay"" as in reuse our existing tiles and get new underlayment 'paper' Dylon, the estimator was extremely thorough. I think he was the most detailed and patient in explaining what will be done. We had taken 2 other quotes but decided with San Diego County Roofing because of Dylon's thoroughness in explaining what needs to be done and their actual quote was easier to read but was detailed enough for us to understand. I also appreciate Dylon remaining communicative throughout the five days of the roof work. There was a slight hiccup, as in we needed to get our Pool Solar guy to come out and cap off a pipe temporarily. I gave Dylon permission to speak to our Pool Solar contractor, etc. Made my life easier. Working with Mr. Parrott in the administrative process was simple enough in regards to signing the quote, putting the deposit and submitting final payment. Their team did a great job in cleaning up every day. I couldn't be more happy with their work.

We selected San Diego County Roofing & Solar to put a new roof on our church. Dylan, Troy and Edgar were all great. The job went very quickly and was done smoothly and professionally. I rarely recommend anything but I'll make an exception. I thought that I needed a new roof. I met with five roofing companies, including SD County Roofing. SDCR did a thorough inspection, including going into the attic, and said I had a few more years on my roof. (Four of five companies came to the same conclusion. One company said it was urgent so I crossed them off my list.) The SDCR rep was knowledgeable and explained my options clearly. Their bid gave me options and was reasonable. They fit me in quickly due to a cancelation, worked diligently, cleaned up, sent me pictures, and even...wait for it, filed the warranty for me. Very pleasant experience for me, start to finish.
