December of 2018 we got a really bad rainstorm and my roof started to leak, days before I was heading overseas. I contacted San Diego County Roofing and Troy came out to my home the very next day. He was able to give me an estimate right away and we decided to move forward with the repairs. I was able to coordinate with Troy while I was away and they came right before Christmas to finish the job. His guys were very professional, showed up when they said they would and didn't break any of the tiles that had to be taken off to repair the roof. I highly recommend San Diego County Roofing, thank you for your service!

How could I not recommend these guys to anyone needing a new roof or work done on their roof. They were absolutely amazing!!! My roof was at least 30 years old and already had 3 layers on it. Called Troy and he was very nice to deal with and sent out Dylon to check out my roof. Dylon explained everything about my current roof and what they would be doing in great detail when they install my new roof and with lots of added vents to keep my house cooler in the summer months. From the moment the project began, everyone was very nice and the guys did an amazing clean up around the yard after removing the old roof. My new roof looks like a million dollars and I am not the type of guy to just say things people want to hear. These guys did a great job and many thanks

San Diego county roofing came out got on the roof and inspected every inch of my 1929 craftsman home. Out of four other roofers, no one else even came close to doing this detail of inspection. Most never even came out. Did everything over the email. They gave me an honest upfront quote and their work was impeccable. Jobsite was always clean. And my new roof is beautiful. Great honest company. Dylon and Troy were the greatest people to work with. I am working them again on my other home!

We were extremely happy with the whole process of getting a roof from SDC Roofing. My conversations with Troy on the phone were very informative. I was very impressed with how thorough Dylon was with the job details. They were great with responding to my questions. As super as they both were I was even more impressed with Edgar and his roofing group. Right after Angel and his group had torn off the old roof, a storm began to brew and Edgar and his team covered the whole roof with plastic to protect it. The one day of rain this summer was the one after our old roof had been removed! Our roof is a complicated affair and I was impressed with the great job they did. San Diego County Roofing gave us the fourth out of five bids for a two-layer tear-off and reroofing of our old roof. We thought we were sure to go with an earlier bid, but Dylan identified some code issues that no one else mentioned, and even though the bid was higher we decided to go with Troy Parrot's company. Troy came out himself to check out our vaulted ceiling, determined it did not need spacers, adjusted the bid down a few thousand dollars, and threw in top and bottom continuous vents for free. All of the bids from other companies would have been higher, by thousands of dollars, if adjusted for Dylan's proposed work, so we were very happy with Troy's assessment and attention. Another plus was that plywood sheathing was included in the bid, not CDX used by other contractors. We believe we got a great price for the total job. The tear-off crew was fantastic! Nine workers removed 26 squares of double roof, cleaned up everywhere, and were gone in 4 hours. Edgar's five-worker roofing crew repaired 60 feet of bad planks, nailed on the sheathing, installed the 50-year Owen's Corning Duration Cool roof with ridge ventilation, O'Hagin vents, 25-foot top and bottom continuous vents for raised ceiling ventilation, replaced covers on old vents, and painted all metal parts to match roof color in the span of 48 hours. Both the tear-off and roofing crews showed great camaraderie during their work, helping and supporting each other with each task, laughing and joking and enjoying the job. Any requests we had, Edgar addressed immediately (protecting flowers, moving vehicles, etc.) The property was spotless after they were done. If I had to do it again, SD County Roofing would easily be my go-to roofing company, for their accessibility, fairness, honesty, timeliness, superb workmanship, and concern even after the job was finished, a pleasure to work with in every way.

I called Troy to come out and take a look at my project. First thing he says is that he can't find it on Zillow based on address. Why does he need to look at Zillow? Shouldn't he be looking at google maps? My guess is that he wants to see how much customers paid for their property, so he can assess how much he charges them.

Secondly- he was EXTREMELY rude on the phone. When I couldn't hear him- he was short with me. Wouldn't recommend.

My husband and I highly recommend San Diego County Roofing if you need a new roof. We had a small leak that we thought was isolated to our flat patio roof. I had done a pretty extensive search of Roofing Contractors online (multiple sites) and friends and thought the reviews painted SD County Roofing as a very honest and reputable business that wouldn't try to sell you a bigger job than you needed. Troy came out and walked the roof with my husband and told us, unfortunately our shingles were pretty aged. He got us a quote in a couple days and explained to us that because of the age of the house, we might have extra expenses if the plyboard was going to have to be replaced or there was too much water damage. And while we wouldn't know until the old roof was removed, he did give us a pricing table for how much replacement wood would cost per board. We had a couple delays with getting the work done which was not at all Troy's fault (who would have known that May 2019 would be so rainy!) Troy communicated with us through each delay and rescheduling and once we had a couple days with clear weather Egar and his team went to work! We had a few areas that Troy and Egar were concerned about when it came to the wood ""sub-roof"", but walked my husband through what they needed to do to fix those areas. We were very impressed with how well they cleaned up the old roofing debris and how quickly and well done the work was done. As I was also very impressed at how well they had painted the new roof vents so that you don't even notice them when you look at the roof!

After talking to friends who had gotten quotes from other businesses, we were pretty happy with what we were charged. Our neighbors are already commenting on how good it looks and we are happy to not have a leak anymore!

Troy runs a great business, and has Edgar running the jobs. What a highly successful team they make. Troy's process to teach what would be done, and explain options, provide samples, and then he produced a clear and complete cost estimate. Communication is swift and thorough, with no surprises. Well, until you meet Edgar, and his team, and find that such rough work is done efficiently, quietly as possible, by workmen polite and courteous in every way. I very much enjoyed having the workmen on site, and marveled at their efficient manner, and their willingness to show me what they were finding, and what needed to be done. Edgar made an appearance item suggestion based on the construction method our house ""featured"" from the mid 1970's, and fixed it readily. The follow-up after the solar panels were installed left us with a known ""baseline"" condition, as Troy and Edgar has the roof thoroughly inspected for any damage left over from the solar panel installation. Just call Troy, and know you are in good hands.

Troy Parrott with San Diego County Roofing really knocked it out of the park for us! He was wonderful, and we highly recommend him to others. We called Troy, like I'm sure many do, after it rained and we noticed a leak. He was quick to respond, and to schedule our first appointment. He confirmed the appointment that morning, and arrived ready to go. He inspected our roof, and then provided us with options. We had been considering a new roof, and we felt that the proposal he gave us was a good price, with excellent product and service. By some miracle, he was able get it installed within 2 weeks of the first phone call I made to him - we are astonished and very grateful. He installed a beautiful new composite shingle roof on our single-story home, and a new flat roof over our garage. He also introduced us to a solar company at our request, and we have been delighted with his expertise and connections. Troy was communicative through the whole process, and the actual installation people were wonderful, kind, and considerate of our property. And, they were efficient!
