Another company might have told us tough luck, but Jim at San Carlos Roofing made a personal visit to the house we were buying to inspect the metal roof. The roof was new in 2021 and looked great to our untrained eye. San Carlos did the work on it, but after Hurricane Ian, we learned all warranties were canceled because of the extent of damaged roofs across Southwest Florida. We begged Jim to come to the property and see the condition of the roof for himself. He did, and wrote us a letter saying San Carlos would honor their warranty. Who does that anymore?

Followed one of their trucks over the Sanibel bridge and witnessed the truck losing all kinds of trash out of the back of his truck. Once we were able to pull next to the driver and tell him, he just shrugged his shoulders and did not go back to clean up his mess! Disgraceful!
