The quality of work was very good. However they did not pay the roofing supplier leaving the burden to the homeowner. Hold money from roofing company and pay supplier on your own. Florida laws protect the supplier. I would not use Salt roofing.

BEWARE THIS PEOPLE ARE THIEFS!! We paid a deposit of close to $10000 for this company to do our roof and they literally stoled our money. We hired a lawyer which had them sign an agreement to pay us back and even though they signed they still did not honor the agreement!!! DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY MONEY!

I strongly advise against using this contractor. They are allegedly involved in unethical practices. The contractor completed a roof job on my home, and I paid them in full. However, a few months later, I received a letter from the supplier stating they had not been paid for the materials provided to the contractor for my roof. As a result, the supplier placed a lien on my home for over $7,000.

It appears that these companies are exploiting legal loopholes to take advantage of honest, tax-paying citizens. As an Army veteran, it deeply frustrates me to see such dishonest practices harming people in this way.

Think twice before hiring SALT Roofing. We wish the lady we bought our house from had. When we discovered we had water leaking down our walls, we called them to come out and see what was causing it. We thought the flashing around the chimneys might be the problem. We lost track of the number of times they said they'd be here and then never showed up or called. Finally, after over 3 weeks someone did come. He never really said how the water was getting in even when we asked. Instead, he focused on the weight of our chimney on the roof which we admit was a problem. He promised to send us pictures and a quote that next Monday. When we didn't get the quote, we called and were told we'd be getting it soon. It's now been almost a month and we have yet to receive anything. In the midst of all this, we had another roofer come out. He gave us an estimate two days later. It seems to us that SALT Roofing is avoiding any responsibility for our leak. Obviously, their warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

We contracted Salt Roofing from Eustis FL to repair a rubber roof that was not fastened properly to the main roof. This condition caused flapping in the wind which created a loud banging noise in our home during heavy winds. At the time the contract was signed with them, they issued us a one year warranty on their work. Their initial repair was fine but soon the roof returned to the original noisy problem. I rated them a one star because after numerous phone calls they will not return our calls to address the problem the warranty was to cover. Very poor customer service.
