Leo and the team did a fantastic job on my 30-year-old, Orange County, California Shake Roof! Their service was hands-on, honest, and friendly, and their workmanship was fantastic. The quoting process was easy and flexible -- real discussions, real solutions, and no candy coating. Leo respectfully explained what needed to be done, and the team didn't cut any corners. They started the project on time, worked diligently through completion, and no paperwork was needed.

I cannot say enough good things about their service. Leo, you have a customer for life!

I contacted S&L Roofing to replace the original half pipe roof tiles that had broken over time. Their review on Yelp is excellent. Leo, the owner, actually answered my call. So refreshing to hear a real voice and not a machine :) Leo was very professional and communicated a very kind and reassuring reply to my timeline and concerns and his demeanor assuring and cordial.The tiles on roof are original dating back to the 1940's, so a challenge to match, but Leo prevailed and two days after my initial call he sent Guillermo over to remove broken tiles and replace with those that closely mimicked my originals! Guillermo was very deliberate and focused on my project, so very pleasant and polite, too. Leo also checked in to assess the progress. I asked for a favor which was to paint my two chimneys which were covered randomly with black soot. Rather than risk my tiles being broken again by a painter who might not know how to properly walk on tile, Leo graciously agreed to paint the chimneys. We bought the paint and Guillermo did a fine job masking the black soot and always being mindful of not spilling paint. He even taped off areas just to be extra cautious. I could not be more pleased with S&L Roofing and highly recommend them. It's truly a welcome bonus to work with such hard working, thoughtful and genuinely courteous gentlemen. 10 STARS - Thank you so much Leo and Guillermo!

Leo and the guys from S & L Roofing are great! I had some chipped roof tiles, and I wanted to have them replaced before a big storm came. Since the roof is a bit older, I knew the tiles would be somewhat challenging to find.

After some time doing some research, Leo finally found the tiles! The tiles were an exact match. I thought this was quite a feat since we have an older roof. I actually think it looks brand new now!

I was so impressed by the work it took to find those tiles and repair that section of roof. Leo went out of his way to help. The service was wonderful, and Leo is friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to use S & L Roofing again!

S & L Roofing did a great job on my roof repair in San Clemente. The problem was larger than expected. They gave me a price and did not ask for any extras. They came on time and worked until it was completed. It so nice to see someone do what they say their going to do.
I highly recommend that you call them if you have a roof problem. They are good people which is hard to find now days.

I called in in a Sunday before a big rain storm. I'd recently had branches come down forcefully on our roof and was concerned about leakage. Leo was out within a few hours at exactly the time he said he would. He and his assistant assessed my roof, found a broken tile and replaced it. He suggested I clean the roof and gutters while he was there. He went above and beyond in taking care of our roof for a price that was reasonable for a weekend emergency.

Very reliable. Did great work that they also guarantee for 16 months, i.e 2 rainy seasons. Leo took on our leaky roof project that another roofer tried a quick repair on. They are very responsive, efficient and clean. They fixed it immediately in one day. Unlike most other roofers who are mainly/only interested in big reroofing jobs, these guys want the smaller roof repairs. So happy with them, I will definitely look them up when I finally need to reroof even though they prefer the smaller jobs. For those looking for roof repairs, I would definitely go with these guys.

I have used S&L Roofing several times to make minor repairs, replace broken tiles and clean out a valley and gutters. Leo has also done work for several neighbors and my son. I've had nothing but positive experiences with him. On a recent rainy day I noticed one of the replaced tiles was slipping. I called him and he came out and fixed it that day during a constant drizzle. I find Leo to be responsive, reliable and a nice guy. I will continue using S&L Roofing when the need arises.

Leo was very prompt in coming to give us a bid, which we thought was reasonable. He did not try to upsell us, and in fact, was willing to do a lesser ""patch job"" if we wanted. We had other roofers that thought our job was too small and wouldn't even call us back. He was able to get his excellent crew out within a few days. They worked very hard and had to do a little more than what was expected. Leo communicates very well and seems dedicated to providing good service to his customers. We will definitely use him again when the rest of the roof is ready for repairs or replacement.

Needed a roofer in a pinch to get roof fixed that my roofer from two years ago had missed- and never called me back either (that was Bruce Allen Roofing- no response, and charged a fortune).
Leo came on a Sunday, inspected the roof for free, with a smile on his face, gave us a quote, and he came back with his worker the next day to fix everything. Great job, great communication, great price. Can highly recommend him!

I didn't know a roofer to call. I had called a different company a few months prior and that company took weeks to return my call. Since no rain was in the forecast I waited and looked up other companies. S & L came up on a search and looked like a reputable company, I tried them first when I had more time.

I called S & L very early on a Saturday morning regarding a roof leak. Leo returned my call within the hour that I called and came out the same day. He was kind, respectful and honest. He took pictures to show me what was needed. He worked with me to determine best options for my needs. He was able to do the work within a few days and did an outstanding job. Leo showed up exactly when he said he would and did exactly what he promised. Once the job had begun, he found the problem was bigger than it originally looked. He still corrected the problem without charging me further. I was very pleased with his work and his character. I will call him in the future when it is time to replace the entire roof and I will be recommending him to friends and colleagues.
