Tony Y.Ryan overall has been great when it comes to prompt fast service and communication.
If you need someone to come look at your issue asap, he will make time to do so. He is also really good at communicating with you via phone/text if he's running late or need to change the appt to a different time.
Ryan's price is on the higher end, but I guess that's the trade-off if you need prompt fast service.
Thanks!
Ryan and his team did great work installing my door. Highly recommended.
These guys were quick to respond and came out for a free estimate on my business as I needed some work done. Very friendly and arrived promptly. The work was discussed in great detail, these guys don't cut corners they do it right which is rare.
Estimate was very detailed and they were very professional, I look forward to working with them in the future.
Ryan and his team are extremely responsive, fair, and reliable. Ryan came to our house in the middle of a storm and was able to assess and remediate a leak in our roof far better than our professional roofer did.
Will be calling Ryan for future projects!
Aaron V.I'm the pastor of a church in Glendale. We had a hole in our church roof that allowed rain into the ceiling of our sanctuary, which caused the ceiling to break open in a spot. Ryan and his co-worker came out to my building the very night I reached out to them over Yelp. They worked until after 10PM to get the job done before the rain came the following morning.
Ryan climbed up into our church steeple (no small task) and also onto our roof, which is 30 feet up. He diagnosed a complex problem and made multiple repairs.
Not only was Ryan and Santiago professional, kind, responsive, and fast, but they gave me a great price too. I can't speak highly enough of this crew. They are quite experienced and fully insured. Hire them.
Stay away from this guy. Gives you a quote, then changes the price once the job is done he charged me like he's a licensed electrician he is not. I will never use this person again..
I have nothing but good things to say about Ryan. He was straightforward with pricing. He responded back quickly for the quote request and was punctual.
He took pictures of the problem areas of the roof and told me exactly what he thought the problem was.
Thank you!
Jody s.It's 3:15 and I just called to see why our cleaner hadn't showed at 3 pm. Owner told me that he had ""been meaning to call me"" because he hadn't heard from the cleaner either. Who waits until the day of, past the time that the cleaner was supposed to arrive to tell someone that the cleaner is not going to show? AND - makes the customer call to find out this information? He then texted me to beg me not to write a bad review and offered to clean the house for free. We leave tomorrow morning and his only offer was to re-book us with someone else then. I have little sympathy for someone who makes excuses after the fact and doesn't try to make it right ahead of time.
Lily W.*** POTENTIAL SCAM ALERT: IF IT SMELLS FISHY... RUN ***
Ryan was the last to respond to my Yelp requests for estimates. But I thought why not set up a last minute appointment to have him come by to get his estimate.
By now I know what the correct scope of work entails having met with a couple of good contractors. Also I've been scammed once and learnt what to look out for.
From the very first minute of Ryan showing up 15mins late and not even an apology, he kept fishing for information such as:
- how many people have I had to come give me estimates? (That's none of his business)
- claimed that some wood areas were ""moist"" and will need to do more work before he can put up any drywall.
I listened to him SHOW me where the ""wet areas are located"" and then when I told him ""there has been no water damages in that area, and any water damages were on the other end of the wall and in the ceiling"" -- he looked at me like a deer got caught in headlights -- and quickly switched up his story, saying he won't charge me for doing any cleanup of the ""moisture"" areas.
- he doesn't take measurements correctly, more like diagonal instead of straight and when I told him his measuring tape isn't placed properly, he dismissed me saying it's a rough estimate and he rounds his numbers.
Hmm then why come here if you are not taking actual measurements, like every other contractor does.
I started watching him closely as he ""took measurements"". Then he started taking pictures -- that is fine for the work areas -- BUT when I caught him taking a full-on picture of the back of my car, I quickly asked him,
""hey why do you need a picture of my car? Please delete it right now! ""
And... this is when it got ""INTERESTING""...
Ryan tried to hide his phone. I confronted him and insisted that he deletes the picture of my car with license plate.
THERE IS NO REASON WHATSOEVER FOR HIM TO TAKE A PICTURE OF MY CAR and LICENSE PLATE in order to give me an estimate of the garage work.
Instead of simply showing me his phone and show me that he's deleting that picture right there and then, he told me rudely, ""don't look at my phone pictures, it's my phone.""
Seriously?
Ryan was taking pictures of MY property on his phone. I have the right to see what pictures of my property that he has on his phone
AND SHOW ME HE IS DELETING THE PICTURE HE TOOK OF MY CAR AND LICENSE PLATE.
Ryan kept arguing that he'll delete the picture *later* and I can't look at his phone to see him delete that picture.
I KICKED RYAN OFF MY PROPERTY.
This business may not even be licensed. He showed up in a black sedan. NOT a vehicle with company logo and license number. When I asked him go use his moisture meter to confirm there is still moisture as he was claiming within a minute of showing up... he claimed he didn't have time to get his truck before the appointment. He also had a name paper sticker ""volunteer"" 'coz he's on his way to a skid row thing.
Some signs of scammers, as I've learnt the hard way... are: stories, trying to ""add-on"" jobs, avoiding discussing the actual work that I'm asking for and instead keep asking questions about other things that need work, friendly but turns nasty when you call them out and question them, etc.
I got really bad vibes from my meeting Ryan.
BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS. STAY AWAY.
A few months ago I hired Ryan to do some work on my rental unit. overall he did an excellent job - clean, thorough, knowledgeable and honest. He arrived a bit tardy and I had to followup with a call but once he arrived, I felt secure he was more than capable. he proved me right. Highly recommend!
