""We had a fellow come to the door who wanted to inspect our roof for damage due to the recent hailstorm. I told him we had just had it replaced 18 months ago. After 20 minutes he came down with pictures and told us we had hail damage. We filed a claim. Three days ago, another roofer called. I informed him of the situation. Mr. Vance Sparks of ASHCO Exteriors said, ""Would you like a second opinion? I said, sure come ahead. He showed up promptly at the scheduled time, took pictures that included all the circled chalk marks that were indicated as Hail Damage by the first fellow. Vance then said, ""I would love to sell you a roof, but you don't have hail damage."" This is ""mechanical damage"" that happened when the roof was installed. He then proceeded show what was circled before and then went into detail as how the damage was caused when the roof was installed; dropped shingles, walking on the roof when it was hot, etc. Vance then said, ""your roof is fine."" He then advised us to cancel the claim with insurance company, so we did not have a false claim on our record. We followed that advice. If you need a very honest and professional person, call Vance at 214-597-0701. I just looked at his card, he is the area sales manager."" We live in Georgetown, Texas, the company is based in Carrollton, Texas.

Predatory post-storm door-to-door solicitors that do not respect No Soliciting signs. Used the ol' ""I spoke with your neighbor and I can also give you a free inspection"" line, which I verified was a lie after speaking with my neighbor. Very pushy and wouldn't take no for an answer. If you are based in Carrollton, which is an area heavily affected by recent storms, you'd have plenty of business in that area without having to solicit and use scare tactics 20 miles away in an area that was not affected.

Our neighbor referred Ashco for our roofing & gutter needs. I contacted them online & within the hour, Evan was assigned as our sales rep. He met with us, explained the entire process & met with the adjuster to ensure we could get insurance to cover what was needed. The entire work took about 6 months, due to factors outside of Ashco's control (HOA approval, weather, insurance money, city inspection). Ashco has employees for different roles during a project, but they were all great in staying in constant communication.

A company's reputation is not only about their work but also their customer service when issues arise. They did their due diligence in having an HVAC company inspect & note gas lines before starting the roof work. However, accidents do happen & a gas line was punctured near the roof line easement. Evan immediately responded & escalated to the production team in MN. They had a plumber & the roofing crew out first thing the next morning to fix the leak.

It took about a week to resolve, not because it could not be fixed, but because there was still a leak somewhere in the line not related to the roof work. Most companies would say, you're on your own, we didn't cause that. But Sean, who was our project manager, made sure the plumber was onsite to resolve the issue until the end (one long stressful week), which turned out to be a faulty connector on the gas gauge, causing the readings to be unsteady.

We greatly appreciate Ascho's professionalism & customer care (including their partnerships with plumbers, gutter companies, etc.) and the constant and open communication during this entire project. All home improvement projects should have this type of support!

Poor workmanship! They replaced my roof on 2016. In just 2 years, my roof leaks. The 25 years shingle warranty is useless because the problem is their workmanship failed. Ashco workmanship is only one year. Do NOT recommend them at all. I am left with hundreds dollar leak repair on 2 years old roof.

From day 1, working with Ashco was a breeze. Evan explained everything in detail. The work crew did a tremendous job. The one single lone issue we discovered (very minor) was resolved with a single phone call (a few trips from assessment to work) but one call from me.

We had hail damage that was not just the roof. We needed windows, siding, fireplace, fence, A/C, ceilings replaced, carpet ripped out, walls painted, lighting replaced....a very long list. I had never submitted a house claim before so didn't know the process. What I have learned is the roofing company should manage all of this work, not just the roof. ASHCO just does roofing and wont help with anything else. Since they made a lot of money off just the roof most contractors would not work with me.

Thanks so much to the Dallas Texas Ashco exteriors team and to Dustin for helping us get our roof approved by my insurance provider. We had extensive hail storm damage here in March of last year. Dustin our local sales rep had placed a letter in our mail box advertising the services of Ashco Exteriors and had personally helped me to schedule an appointment to have my roof damage reviewed. He was detailed and stayed with me through the whole process. I can't honestly thank them enough for a better than perfect outcome. My roof was almost done completely in one business day! The team truly did an outstanding job!! Rest assured you can finally find a contractor you can trust!! These are only contractors you ever use regarding the exterior of your home!!
