I am not one to always write reviews unless I feel passionate about something. I am learning what a shady company Rogero and Williams is. A little less than two yeas ago, a number of homes in my neighborhood were getting roof replacements. Rogero came knocking on our door and convinced us we should replace our roof too. After our roof was replaced in April 2016, we came upon hurricane season and Matthew whipped through the city. We evacuated since we live the beach and came home to staining on our ceiling at the vault and a watermark following down the vault and to a vent. We called Rogero and they were very responsive and came out within a week or so. The stood on top of the roof with a hose pouring water onto it and couldn't get any water to leak into the house again. They determined it must have blown in from the vents. I didn't want to accept this as an answer because water doesn't travel uphill but I figured we'd keep an eye on it. No one came to repair the ceiling although I feel like they should have considering we never had issues until they replaced the roof. Fast forward to this year with Hurricane Irma. We once again evacuated. This time, I came home to a new roof leaking in the hallway, which seeped into my linen closet. The entire door frame is swollen and we can no longer shut the linen door due to the volume of water that is probably building mold behind my walls. We called once again and they came out fairly quickly. The gentleman went on the roof and noted a piece a trim had come off around the chimney, which was probably originally loosened when they replaced the roof. He felt confident that that was where the water entered. He was kind enough the trim back up and seal it . We also pointed out the staining from the other roof leak. He immediately noticed that the vent was never sealed on the roof. This was shocking as how did the other people they sent out not notice this in October 2016? Then, we had a rainstorm and guess what, the water started to steadily drip into my linen closet again. It was a few inches when it was all said and done. We called Rogero again, they sent a gentleman out last week. He was very argumentative with my husband, had a bad attitude and also decided to pee on the side of our house. We called to complain and shocking we haven't heard back. We now have specs of mold growing on our ceiling, which is next to my daughter's room as well as in the linen closet. These guys are too busy trying to take advantage of new clients instead of making their wrongs right. We own another home that had a roof replacement and we have had NO issues there! Do your homework but don't use these crooks! Several of my neighbors have had issues with their roofs, some are dealing with what we're dealing with.

I would like to share our experience with our rental property and Rogero and Williams. Late spring 2017 we received a quote for a tear-off and reroof on our rental. We were satisfied with what we heard after numerous quotes and proceeded with the process. Wes Deason and associate helped with the shingle 'pick-out'  and other materials needed. The work order was written with a wish on our part to start work in late summer 2017 after a vacation so that we would be back in town for the process.
After coming back from vacation I notified the office to proceed. I received a phone call early Monday morning August 17th 2017 that the dumpster would be dropped off within 2 hours. I told Kathryn (the person on the phone) that it was a rental and I needed to notify my renter so that she could remove anything (car included) she needed to from the carport area. I called the renter and lucky for me she was able to come home and move her things from the carport and area.
Later that day a dumpster was dropped.
I went up on Tuesday -the dumpster was there half full with another homes' debris(not ours) and no one tearing off our roof. I went back up to the rental on Wednesday the 19th and the dumpster was gone-our roof still intact however with all the materials delivered (shingles in bundles on roof) and all the other materials, nails, glue ect laying around in the front of the house. I called and spoke to a very nice secretary expressing my concerns about supplies all over and possible theft but got no answers. Again I tried to contact the point of contact Kathryn and got the run around about the weather and jobs being pushed back. Day after day I called and still no concrete information on why they had removed the dumpster and when my job was going to start.
I brought up my concerns numerous times about the amount of materials strewn all over the front lawn in plain sight and easily stolen by passerby's. I registered my complaint with Wes Deason-he said that we would not be responsible for theft. I even had to tell my renter to not touch the materials that way we would not be held responsible for theft.  My biggest beef was the fact that no one had answers for me and that our rental was being used as a 'storage depot' for lack of a better word as well as placing our renters at risk for possible people coming and stealing things right off their lawn. Truly an inconvenience and rude!!!
This went on into the weekend until I finally got so upset with getting the run around and no answers that I told them to come and get the materials and cancel the job. Needless to say I had to say something not so nice and then boy there was someone at our rental in a hot second!!
Interestingly enough I was told that when they push jobs back due to weather -I had to go to the back of the line!!! What???
With that said they put another dumpster in the rental driveway(thank you very much for double breaking up my driveway!!) and did finally get the job done a week later after all the materials sat out for a week or more strewn all over the front lawn and driveway.
Needless to say this has left a poor taste in my mouth due in large part to lack of communication and little to no empathy and professionalism on the part of Rogero and Williams. My rental is not storage depot nor should my renters who pay their rent in good faith be subject to more than they deserve.

*** I wish I had read these reviews before I signed papers and yes I asked them not to use my electricity- the renters (just shows there lack of concern for people and their money!) but they did anyways. I would not recommend them!!

Rogero & Williams Roofing Contractors re-roofed my home in December 2014. We selected them because they offered a 5 yr warranty on their work. The completed work left large gaps between the facia board and shingle surfaces which are large enough for squirrels and rodents to enter. We recently had a squirrel get into our attic because of the gaps they left in multiple areas. I have tried to contact them about this issue and even filed complaint with DBPR but have had no response (so much for their warranty). In addition they left nails all over the place in my yard. I'm still finding them. Also, I negotiated into the contract for them to install new gutters. After finishing the re-roof, they told me that they miscalculated the cost of gutters and were going to need more money to install the gutters. I ended up with a compromise of getting gutters in about 1/2 as much area as originally discussed. The contract wasn't clear.

Long story short, this company was pleasant until I signed the work order. After that, it went down hill pretty fast and we ended up with a poor customer experience. Tell your friends not to use this company.

I purchased a roof due to the hurricane damage. It was put up in a little over one day. My bricks were damaged on the home, their was poor workmanship and repairs to the roof. I have been dealing with them for 6 months to get all the repairs done. Run from these people as fast as you can run.

Rogero and Williams just finished a reroof for my rental property due to storm damage. My salesman Dustin was very knowledgeable and kept us updated thru every step of the process. The crew did a great job on the roof and also with clean up. The site foreman also did a great job overseeing the project and cleaning up after as well. I would totally recommend them to others

All I can say is, RUN! Run as fast as you can. In March 2016, we dealt with a salesman, Jason. What a fast talker. We would ask questions, and he would change the subject. I would continue to ask him to back up to my questions, to nail down answers. Which we would finally get. That being said, we should of saw that as a bad sign. But we still went with Rogero & Williams anyway. I have pristine gardening around my house, which I was assured would be respected. WRONG!!! Jason wanted us to sign contracts without knowing what our insurance was going to pay, and accept his figure estimate. We said we would not sign until, we knew. He said we didn't have to pay for the roof until the job was completed, but we would have to pay them the deductible, to start the job. We assured him when the insurance check comes in, we would pay the deductible, and upgrade cost at that time. And the balance upon completion. We did finally receive the first check in may, and we did sign the contact. He wanted the insurance check also. We said no, you have our deductible, and upgrade fee, and the rest is due upon completion. We had the check with our name, the bank mortgage name, and their name. We held the check until they were done. When the inspection was done. We sent them both checks. Holding those checks was a guarantee the work would be done, if they wanted to get paid. I also suggest to have your mortgage holder on the check as well, an extra layer of protection.

In July 2016, 4 months later, the shingle delivery crew arrived, and they were great, friendly, and respectful. The next day was when the nightmare started. There was a debris dumpster that arrived the next day, and parked in front of the garage in our driveway, for roofing debris removal. There was a crew of three, and only one spoke broken english. Even though we were very polite to them, it seemed they had a problem with us. The one who spoke english said another crew was suppose to do the job, but refused. Maybe because of my extensive gardens. I did, reiterate politely how special my gardens are, and he assured me, no problemo. HIS WORDS!

So we went inside to watch Netflix, as the dish was going to be disconnected. They pried the sattlelite dish off our roof, which came swinging down, whacking my wind-chimes. the roofing debris started coming down from all areas on the roof, onto the ground, our front porch, the walkways, front and back, and my beautiful gardens were getting covered with large pieces of tarpaper, shingles ect. Nails going everywhere. Even through the cacti in my cacti garden. I was very upset, to see my roses, pentas, hibiscus, salvia, gardenia plants being hammered by debris. My husband went out there and asked them to please be careful. He was even out there picking up debris out of the gardens, and they were still throwing in down there, while he was picking it up. They were not using the dumpster that was within 20 ft. of them. There was so much debris and nails outside our front and back door, we couldn't even go out side.

They were slamming the pallets of shingles so hard on the roof, our cathedral cieling has got stress cracks. We called Tim, and he said take pictures which we did and texted them to him. They should of leaned plywood against the building to protect our gardens, but they did not.

After they were done, they did a very quick cleanup. They blow all the debris and nails off the roof. And they purposely blew the dust at us sitting in our screen room, out back. Tim said they would magnet rake the yard thoroughly. But they did not. Tim said that he would come and rake the yard three times, the next day, but he did not. We went out and purchased a 40.00 magnetic rake, and did it ourselves. We were stepping nails everywhere. My gardens were full of them. We found roofing nails 20 ft. from our house. We got a flat tire on our John Deer, and had to repair that. They damaged my 25 year old vintage garden fairy.

We had to wait for almost 48 hours to get our dish reinstalled. Then Jason told us gutters were not included after they ripped them down, and the ply wood was not included. We pulled out our insurance claim and showed him that they were in the claim. So we got all we were entitled to. But had to fight for everything, as well as the VERY UNPROFESSIONAL CREW!

We didn't realize we had a worse leak around our chimney, than before they did the job. When the next rain storm came about a week later, water was pouring down from around the chimney. We had to tarp our NEW ROOF, till their maintenance roof tech could get out here.

He told us we didn't pay for the up grade, having to do with the chimney. And we said yes, we did. But even without the upgrade, should anyones roof leak? Well even after he did his, ""JOB"", There was still a leak. When Hurricane Matthew came through, we had to tarp our roof in the rain. My husband since then has gone up there and sealed the area, and now there is no leak.

Interesting business model, you know the one where they refuse to return calls & messages (6 times) from the customer who is pointing out accounting irregularities. I can only imagine if a warranty issue arises. cc. Angie's List, Yelp, BBB, Julington Creek Plantation HOA, Small Claims Court, Insurance Company

So disappointed in this level of service. Reading other reviews, my experience isn't unique, this accounting irregularity seems to not be in error. Though who knows, they WON'T return phone calls.

There have been a lot of roofs going on in my neighborhood. I live in Julington Creek. My neighbors across the street had their roof redone. I watched these guys tear off shingles to fool the insurance company inspector. For the longest time the shingles looked ok then their guy came and actually ripped off the tile. Then insurance came and they replaced the roof. Shady company. I was reading the law and the home owners could get in trouble for fraud. I do not recommend using this company. My neighbor Bill had his redone and said he has been after them to service his roof for weeks. He said his went on ok and he didn't see them do anything. But he doesn't like the service. They have solicited my house multiple times.
