Our mission is to ensure our clients experience a sense of heroism. We know that having work done on your home can be quite stressful. This is the reason we act with transparency, exhibit kindness, and highlight our proficiency. Our goal is to relieve you of the burden of home repairs!

In 1976, Roy Rutledge established Rutledge & Son’s. Roy had expertise as a framing carpenter and roofer. He partnered with different builders and even created homes for a few Dallas Cowboys players in Lake Dallas. Following Roy's death, his son George assumed control, carrying on the family tradition as a roofer. Under George’s leadership, Rutledge & Son’s has concentrated primarily on roofing. Up to now, we’ve supported countless homeowners through our storm restoration team and have mirrored that success in our new construction sector. We are involved in our local McKinney, TX community, organizing one fundraiser each quarter for a charitable purpose.

George’s roofing career started in his youth, spending summer breaks working alongside his father and older brother. He found joy in the industry just by being around his two role models.

George is a proud father of two, Rylee and Waylon. His passion for baseball leads him to teach his children the game and take them to see the Frisco Rough Riders play.

George actively participates in Elevate Life Church and is involved in the WATCH DOGS program at his children’s school.

Born and raised in McKinney, TX, George continues to call it home.

George’s life and business philosophy is straightforward: “Never let what is good interfere with what is best.”
