Rutledge & Son’s began in 1976, thanks to Roy Rutledge. Roy specialized in carpentry and roofing. He collaborated with various builders and even constructed homes for some Dallas Cowboys players in Lake Dallas. After Roy's passing, his son George took over the business, continuing the family legacy as a roofer. Under George’s leadership, Rutledge & Son’s has concentrated primarily on roofing. So far, we’ve helped numerous homeowners via our storm restoration department and have achieved similar success in our new construction division. Rutledge & Son’s actively engages with the McKinney, TX community, hosting quarterly fundraisers for charitable causes.

George began his roofing journey as a young boy, working during summer breaks with his father and older brother. His love for the trade grew from the time spent with his two role models.

George is a proud father of two, Rylee and Waylon. George enjoys baseball and spends his leisure time coaching his kids and attending Frisco Rough Riders games.

George is an active participant at Elevate Life Church and takes part in the WATCH DOGS program at his children’s school.

George grew up in McKinney, TX, and still resides there.
