I was nervous about getting quotes to repaint the exterior of our home. The paint had become badly oxidized and looked horrible. We live in an HOA and it was also a requirement to paint according to the original palette.

Shon Sarusi with RSE Builders was the first contractor I contacted and he really set the bar high for the other three I received quotations from. Shon set a time to meet, let me know he was on his way, showed up prepared and took great care to explain his services and understand my needs and desires. He provided a detailed quotation in a timely fashion and encouraged me to get other quotes for the sake of comparison. I received three other quotes. My experience with the other contractors was fair, they also provided reasonable details. But Shon goes an extra step with his commitment to customer service, relationship, setting expectations, and providing quality work.

The workmanship was excellent. There was great care taken to properly and thoroughly mask all the windows, deal with the plants, clean and prep all surfaces, repair as needed, gain paint samples and do multiple patches so we could ensure the paint was the correct color, and then schedules were communicated regularly so I always knew what to expect in terms of when workers would be on site and when they would take a day to let things dry. In the end we had the entire exterior of the house painted including all wood trim, siding, stucco, downspouts, light fixtures, front door, garage and exterior doors, metal gates, patio cover, build in BBQ, and an exterior wall.

I was never made to feel like I was causing issues by asking questions, requesting certain changes, and monitoring the work. The overall experience was wonderful and Shon has proven to be a man of integrity, reliability, professionalism, and trustworthy. All great qualities on top of the skilled work being performed.

I'm looking forward to our next project, remodeling the interior of the house!

The job took only about a week, which included four days of a holiday weekend (which they didn't work). I am very pleased with their work.

We wanted to get our house painted right away. RSE Builders' Manager (Shaun) came over within a day to give us an estimate. He gave us an honest assessment of what needed to be painted and what didn't need to be painted. He also indicated that his crew could start the job immediately. His painters did a very good job, got it done pretty quickly (about 2 weeks), and cleaned up afterward. We interviewed 3 Painting Companies; Shaun gave us the feeling that he would get the job done as promised (you never know with contractors). This is the first review I wrote. We highly recommend RSE Builders-Integrity are very important to us.
