RRG Roofing & Gutters
Company Overview
RRG Roofing provides solutions for re-roofing homes, constructing new buildings, and handling light commercial tasks.
As a family-owned and operated business, RRG Roofing is dedicated to ensuring the best possible customer service in roofing and construction. Our core values are clear. We show up when we say we will, keep our promises, and emphasize communication. Every day, we work to refine these principles and meet the needs of our clients.
We offer a variety of residential roofing options, such as asphalt shingles, metal, tile, wood shake, and other materials common in our area. We offer complimentary inspections and suggest options based on your preferences, financial plan, and goals.
RRG Roofing consistently fulfills our promise to deliver top-quality materials, skilled roofers, and respectful customer service. We focus on honesty, high-quality work, and building strong connections with our customers.
Roofing Resources of Georgia, LLC comes from a strong background in home improvement, remodeling, and insurance expertise. The company is led by founder and manager Cary Rich. Homeowners frequently feel lost when working with their insurance providers for storm damage restoration. They often question if their insurance coverage is sufficient and if their contractor is acting in their best interest. We recognized the need for knowledgeable insurance professionals to advocate for property owners during claim negotiations and repair processes. This approach guarantees that homeowners are paid what they deserve by their insurance and that repairs are handled fairly by their contractors.
I was born and raised in Georgia, I have a wonderful wife, Robin, and we have been married for 25 years. Our family includes a son, Josh, and a daughter, Jordan. Josh works with us at RRG, while Jordan is a student at North Georgia State University.
For 17 years, I worked as an insurance agent, assisting individuals with their property, casualty, life, and health insurance. I began my journey in construction in 1992 as a hobby, which grew into a full-time passion by 1998. Over time, I recognized a need for someone with my insurance background to assist property owners in repairing their homes after insured events. This led me to start building the framework for RRG in 2009.

After sustaining tornado damage to our cabin in May, we contracted with RRG Roofing. The contract stated specific structural carpentry work to be done to repair damage. RRG requested, and was given, more money over and above the original adjuster's estimate to cover this damaged area. However, the RRG ""carpentry"", and I use the term loosely, was substandard and would never have passed an inspection. (RRG didn't pull a permit for this job, although one was required by the county for structural work.) This substandard work, which for brevity purposes was new lumber sections not being scabbed in or attached in any way, was pointed out to multiple RRG people the day of the roof job, including the crew leader, project manager, and the original salesman. Pictures were also provided multiple times to multiple people at the RRG main office, including the Warranty specialist and the Production manager. RRG was also notified in writing of all deficiencies, including this. RRG refuses to address this issue, although it was documented in the same photos as other significant issues they have addressed. The sales manager, whose name had been given to us several times as the person who could work with us on this issue, flatly refused to do so. This job was paid in full, and we had faith that RRG would stand behind their work and address any and all deficiencies.
installation and production went smoothly and the entire crew was efficient and finished before other competitors. However, left a dangling wire behind the house and told the account rep, Drew, as he stopped by to collect the final balance. Promised to take care the issue the following week but no-show twice. Be careful and make sure all your pending items are taking care of before forking over your final payment. You probably will not see these guys again...
Update: RRG contacted me right away after the above comments was posted. A crew show up right away within the same day and politely took care of this unresolved matter. It's good to know that RRG takes pride in maintaining and uphold their reputation and be responsive enough to do what's right. I've just changed the rating of their recent installation to reflect the entire experience.
Krista E.Johnny with RRG roofing came out and took the cap off the roof and noted no leaking and showed me pictures of cobwebs and that it was dry. The attempted to simulate a heavy rain to see if water was getting under the cap. He did suggest getting better ventilation to help with possible trapped moisture
I want to assure all staff at RRG Roofing and anyone interested in help with their roof that this is a fine, honest, and efficient company.
At no cost to me the company sent a polite, knowledgable employee, Blake, who did a thorough inspection with pictures and explained I needed nothing done.
You just do not often find this today in a business nor individual. Thank you Blake and RRG Roofing.
I give RRG 5 stars for being an exceptional company all the way from making appointments (thank you Cimarron), coming out for the estimate (Nick) to the person who actually got on the roof and fixed the problem (Michael), who was incredibly polite, thorough and cleaned everything up after he was done! Could not have asked for anything more. Thank you all for making this repair in such an easy and uncomplicated manner. Y'all are the best!!
Got this ""Pro"" from Angi, called me this morning to say they couldn't make the appt for the quote at 11 am thIs morning and I tried to reschedule for Monday and Cimmeron got snotty and told me they weren't the roofer for me when I said if I had to reschedule again, don't bother and hung up on me. DONT USE THESE FOLKS, THEY SMELL OF RIP OFF!
The quote RRG provided for a roof repair was $4,100. The day of the repair the repairman called to inform he was on the way and the job would only take 2 hours. I contacted RRG to have an itemized breakdown for the quote but only received a list of items for the repair with no prices for these items. The job was completed in one and a half hours which calculates to a $2,733 an hour rate. I am a senior citizen and I feel I was taken advantage of and seriously overcharged.
Christopher E.Josh made an emergency visit to us being here within two hours of calling them and I had never done business with them before. We had water coming in through our kitchen ceiling during one morning rainstorm.
Our leak turned out to be a humidifier problem connected with our HVAC system in the attic area....not the roof.
He suggested that while he was there he may as well have a look at the roof to see what kind of condition it was in.
Took numerous photos showing where we had hail damage.
They worked with our insurance company and made a visit at the same time with the insurance Adjuster.
Our new roof was just finished yesterday and it looks great.
Josh Rich was the service person who came to repair my roof. He was pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this company.
Ed B.Charged $500 to apply caulk to the roof that took them exactly 10 minutes!
A roof inspection done a week later discovered that the leak was caused by a roof boot which RRG didn't replace so they didn't even fix the leak!
Called RRG and they said $500 is what they charge for roof caulking and they would not adjust the price even though they didn't even fix the issue. They are just price gouging because of all the rain we have had lately. They are dishonest. Don't use them!
