I hired Roy Nelson Roofing to cover a porch on a historic home. Paid him the deposit and he disappeared and never showed up to do the work. After canceling the project because he lied, he then refused to repay the deposit. Continued to lie he would return the money but never returned. Have to seek legal to get my money back. Never use this guy!

I hired Roy's Roof Repair to install gutters on my house, as well as remove an old chimney that was falling down. The entirety of his work has ALL had to be redone & he has never come back to complete the work; yet he took payment prior to completion.

1. He put a hole in my roof that has caused extensive water damage to the ceilings in the house.
2. The gutter work he did leaks at every point creating flooding on my property. I even payed more for galvanized gutters, and he painted over the gutters without asking. I have to hire another company to remove the gutters installed by Roy's roof because nobody will touch his work & they are useless.
3. All of the bricks from my chimney that needed to be removed, I asked him to salvage them, and instead he threw them onto the neighbors yard. Never came back to pick up the bricks & majority of the bricks were broken. I had to hire another handyman to stack the bricks and remove from neighbors property, costing me more money.

4. He was asked to create a French drain set up, he ended up putting pipes together wrong, so when the water runs through the pipes they leak at each interval, flooding my courtyard every-time it rains. The piping system is completely useless. I now have to hire another company to remove the pipe work he installed because nobody will touch his work.

5. He buried the pipes from the gutter run off under the ground and it becomes so saturated with water that I have fallen through the drain field and injured myself.

Stay away from this business! Thousands of dollars wasted, thousands more done in damage to the property due to his faulty workmanship, & time I will never get back. Shame on you Roy Nelson of Roys roof repair.
