Not a professional operation. Requested an estimate and workers showed up at the wrong time banging on the door while I was on a business call. Got a very lame excuse for the mixup with some misplaced sense of humor ( it was not funny and not professional at all) Seemed pretty eager to prove themselves, came again, provided a quote. I asked some questions ( important for me as homeowner) like how do you protect my property, how long to schedule after approved, what happens if it rains etc. After the questions total silence. I asked and the answer was "" for a variety of reasons "" they did not want to be considered. Totally fine with me, asked what were the reasons, wanted to be fair if it was something legitimate, again no answer. My conclusion is that something is not right if they can not provide answers to basic questions. The business model seems to be based on people taking what they get, no questions asked.

I worked with Rosie's roofing to fix a leak in my roof March 2022. On my initial call, I discussed there was rotten wood on the underside of the roof that we would like repaired along with stopping the water leak. The phone representative stated their repair people do not do this, but it would be ""no problem"" to bring in another worker to fix it. They came and gave me a quote, where I again specified we wanted the rotten wood replaced as well, and that repairman also said ""no problem"".

I got the quote which I have quoted below, with a price that was reasonable and in line with other companies, and okayed for the work to proceed.
---------------
1. Replace shingles in corners as follows:
a. Remove shingles in two (2) corner areas.
b. Replace decking as necessary.
c. Install ice/water barrier directly to the roof deck.
d. Install new shingles.
---------------
They told me they would let me know when they could come out to do the work. A week later I hadn't heard anything, so I called back and left a voicemail. The following day they showed up unannounced when no one was home and did the work without giving me any warning. So i was not there to see what was being done.

I get home and the leaking shingles are fixed, but they left all of the rotten wood. After seeing this, I immediately call and report the issue. They tell me this was intentional, and they do not repair rotten wood, despite clearly telling me twice before they would bring in someone do so.

They argue the terminology in the contract which includes ""replace decking as necessary"" does not include fascia and soffit. How a layman such as myself is expected to know this, i'm not sure. I clearly asked two separate representatives to ensure this work was included before agreeing to move ahead. They do not even deny this fact.

I was incredibly frustrated. They refused to come or hire someone to complete the work. I even tried to split the cost of the extra work with them as some form of compromise which they refused to do. I tried to explain this very calmly and clearly, but only got multiple condescending representatives and managers.

I never leave bad reviews and like to give people the benefit of the doubt. But between their persistent condescension, inability to see my side of the story, and refusal to compromise at all, I felt it was necessary.

I went to Rosie's for a new roof and gutters. The consultation was great, but once I signed the contract, it was like pulling teeth to schedule the work to be done. After like 3 weeks I got the roof done. They did a good job. They emaild me an invoice for the roof. I have emailed the four times asking how to pay and if there's an online payment option... krickets. When I call I get the answering service. I don't leave a message, because I doubt they'll call back if they won't even reply to an email. I'm still waiting to be scheduled for the gutters. It's been a month. I wish I'd gone with a company with better communication and one that actually wants to do business with me.

I called Rosie's since they had done a couple of roofs on my street. The salesperson came out with his daughter and no business cards. After 2 weeks I couldn't get an estimate and they didn't know anything about incorporating skylights. They are extremely unprofessional - just 3 people running a couple of roofing crews.

*** Dishonest and Erratic***

I seldom leave reviews, especially bad ones. I was recommended Rosie's and given Ben's number. Ben sent business partner Nancy because he's recovering from Covid. I did not have a great vibe from Nancy, she seemed confused, disorganized and inconsistent in what she was saying, I even expressed that with Ben, but he assured me she was on it and great behind the scenes with insurance. They were highly recommended and their reviews were great, so I went with it.

Nancy's communication was not clear or consistent from the beginning, and they started before all the numbers had been finalized; I even expressed in writing I want all insurance numbers finalized before starting, that did not happen. They started while I was out of town.

While doing the roof their workers were peeping in my carport/shop I have in an area away from the house where they were working, no reason at all for them to be back there. It also appeared they were using the restroom (#2) under a tree but I can't 100% confirm that from the cameras. One was taking a nap (over an hour) in my carport on my workout map (caught in camera). I brought all this to Ben's attention and he proceeded to make excuses instead of immediately addressing it. I made it clear they were free to rest under trees and on the front porch but I did not feel comfortable with them in the most secluded areas. It was addressed poorly with excuses instead of basic customer service.

After the work was done, the round and round continued with Nancy and my insurance company. As retired military I have USAA, have for 25 years, every contractor tells me how easy they are to work with, I find that to be the case as well; Nancy seemed to have all kinds of issues. After talking with my adjuster at USAA he shared their conversations (the line is recorded) and she was erratic and flat out dishonest. She would provide 1 but if required information by not the rest for each step. It was constant going back and forth to get her to provide basic information; pictures, sq ft, costs, etc. I eventually just paid as it was mostly covered and let it go, but I have never been so disappointed in a contractors dishonesty and lack of professionalism.

I gave 2 stars because they did do a great job cleaning up. I have no clue how my roof turned out but time will tell. I would not use a dishonest contractor; if they'll lie to one person they'll lie to all.

Beware of this company. They replaced my roof in February and had to replace some of the decking boards. They called and said it was 400 linear feet that needed to be replaced. I asked for photos and did not get them until a day and 1/2 later. I then got an updated invoice and it said 524 linear feet of wood was replaced. I spoke with someone at the office and they sent me a receipt for wood that was purchased at Lowe's and it said 316 linear feet of wood was purchased. So which is it? Each come with significantly different prices and the company could NEVER provide any evidence of how much was actually replaced. Communication with this company is HORRIBLE!!!! They are shady, they come in with a low quote and then jack the price up without evidence of how much additional work has truly been done. In addition to all of this the work was shoddy! The drip edge is too long and it is pushing the gutter off the house, there were nails everywhere and I had additional materials in my driveway for almost two weeks after it was done. Overall stay clear of this company and if you do hire them good luck!

This company failed to show up on the very first appointment. We had taken the half-day off of work to be home at the appointed time and we received zero notice or excuse that day or the day after as to why they did not show up. If you like your time wasted, have fun with these people.

I contacted Rosie's based on reviews but my experience solely mine I guess has been awful. I had a need of a new roof which included board replacement plus shingles. In the beginning, My customer experience was fine, the crew sent was fine as well. The issue came after they finished the work I noticed a tiny crack in my driveway which is new just had it replaced completely earlier this year. I mentioned it a few times and basically all I got was a song dance basically claiming zero responsibility although I never read anywhere contractually about liability but ok I went on because I had a roof that looked nice and that I needed...or so I thought UNTIL the first heavy rain came! My house is small and there is a ceiling vent in the hall bathroom we can loudly hear drip, drip, drip. You can't see water but you can hear it loud and clear! Then I remembered that something was knocked lose while the workers were working and they had to come in go to the attic to fix whatever it was they knocked lose (this is what they told me, I wasn't on the roof with them so I wouldn't know). They were in and out so I didn't think much of it until hearing the drip. I called after a game of semantics with an owner which was not appreciated nor helpful. They sent out a guy who checked but you know he saw nothing!! Surprise, surprise. Now after 4 hard rains in Georgia since getting this repair (today being the fourth) I am very upset that I'll have to spend money to get whatever fixed that wasn't broken before they came and is now broken. The whole point and purpose of choosing a well recommended company is knowing that you may pay more for the service but that the service itself (no more leaks) along with customer service and care would be well worth it. Not my case at all! I understand that people will read this review and dismiss it, like I've done many times before myself but honestly I only post positive reviews because my experiences have been pretty good with other companies after receiving other services. I'm just very disappointed that this company gets to skate along, get good reviews and no one with a differing opinion has ever said anything. Thanks for reading.

When our roof sprung a leak after a recent storm, Rosie's responded very quickly and gave a reasonable, affordable quote. They also fit us into the schedule in just a couple days, before the next storm hit. Work seems to be very quality as we've had no recurrence despite heavy storms. Very kind and professional service!
