Unfortunately, a less than desirable experience for our condo complex.

We hired Rooster three years ago to perform a complete replacement (including plywood subroof) of our flat roof with torch down modified bitumen and granulated cap sheet.

Beginning with the first storm, multiple units had leaks. Rooster came out, applied Apco tar to suspected areas, rinse and repeat at least 3 more times for the following two years. Finally they informed us the ""warranty"" only covers materials, not labor. In other words ""you're on your own"". One unit is still leaking in which they said ""Before the replacement we had no problems, the leak started after the roofers came"".

We showed other roofers pictures of the workmanship and notable responses include:
""Terrible workmanship, the stripping is completely wrong""
""Follow up repairs [applying tar] is BS, the membrane should've been patched and reinforced""
""This is such a s*** job it needs to be redone""
""This is completely incorrect""
""Looks like they had no idea what they were doing""

Save yourselves the stress, go with an actual professional.

Recommended by a friend. Called for an estimate, prompt service. Charles came out I showed him the areas that leaked. Inspected the roof and recommended services. I requested a proposal, received that several days later. Called several weeks later for service, availability open.

The day of service Charles was not present. Read the work order totally different. At this point I was concerned. The gentleman that came out for service was professional, honest and very knowledgeable about his craft. That is the only reason I gave 3 stars, great customer service.

Rooster Roofing came out and gave us a very reasonable estimate. We had two other estimates, Rooster Roofing was the least expenseive. We needed to install a new roof on a lower section of our roof. There was a leak where the roof met the exterior wall in multiple locations. When it came time to do the work, it was done very efficiently, in half of a day, which really surprised us. We were also able to schedule the work very quickly. I will call Rooster Roofing for future roofing needs.

These guys are terrific!! It's so hard to find a good and reliable roofing company in Los Angeles that will actually call you back and show up when they say they are going to show up.

I called Rooster Roofing to get the roof on my garage replaced. We made an appointment for the next day. Charles came out and gave me an estimate that was extremely reasonable -- especially compared to other estimates I had received. We scheduled the work for the next day. They showed up on time, banged out the job in a day and cleaned up the mess afterwards. I could not be more satisfied with the work. Very professional and it appears to be quality work.
