Recommended Customer Reviews

My roof has been leaking for over two years now. I believe this company is contracted through my HOA.
They have been near impossible to schedule a dates with. When they have shown up they have not fixed the leak and will then go unresponsive again.
For your sake do not use this company.

I have had a very bad experience with Contra Costa Roof Works and would not recommend them. I am a realtor and my client had an active leak in her condo during escrow. The HOA referred her to Contra Costa Roof Works and IT HAS BEEN 10 DAYS WITH NO RESPONSE. Their posted phone number does not work, so it is impossible to reach them. My client had to call her own contractor and pay for the repair at her own expense. I don't know how they manage to stay in business with this kind of customer support.

Roofworks has worked with our HOA and I have been quite pleased with them. Especially their thoroughness. They have had to deal with some issues that started with our previous management companies and those problems grew because of the neglect and the incompetence of the people they've hired. Roofworks has been consistent in their work with our HOA and they have repaired decks, railings to our satisfaction. I would recommend them to anyone else.

Contra Costa Roofworks License # 718230 is the roofing contractor for our homeowners association and property manager, Common Interest, in Bancroft Village in Walnut Creek. I had occasion to have a roof leak repaired, which caused considerable mold and water damage. Roofworks repaired the leak, declined to perform a leak test while I had the wall open repairing the mold damage. At the end of last winter, I moved some furniture and found that the roof in *exactly* the same place and caused *exactly* the same damage. They promised to fix it in good faith, since the repairs were unsuccessful and the damage occurred again. After stringing me along with promises of ""when they could get to it, because they had so many projects in our neighborhood"" I was finally contacted today by Jeff Nickel and told that, ""no, no way would we ever repair the damage and furthermore, our receipts to Common Interest expressly state we are not responsible for the quality or completeness of any work we do in Bancroft Village."" When I suggested that a licensed contractor cannot indemnify themselves just by writing it on the invoice, he said, ""hey, do what you gotta to, man.""
So I'm doing it.
