I am a bit surprised to see some bad review for ROOFTOPPERS but there are only a few. I can say for sure that not only did ROOFTOPPERS handle my repair in an excellent fashion they also had to work through a few complications (including seldomly used 'shingle-over' vents-see photo) to get it done which they did with patience and precision. The complications involved caused me to have no fewer than 8 companies come out (I called more) and the recommendations ran from a $1800 fix (rooftoppers) to a $35,000 total re-roof and everything in between. Some companies I called would not even come out unless they got $3500 or more for the repair. Some companies I called would not even do a 'spot' repair unless they did the entire plane of roofing involved ($12-$15k). I kinda get that but it doesn't help me at all. In the end I did not choose ROOFTOPPERS because they were the least expensive, I chose them because their rep Robert is the only person to spend the time to understand the actual problem and how it could best be solved. My final verdict is I feel lucky I found ROOFTOPPERS for my fix and I am confident the repair addresses the problem completely. Be sure to get a lot of quotes for your job but you would do well to make sure ROOFTOPPERS gets consideration.

I asked for a quote on repairing my roof where water was leaking in through a huge opening in the ridge vent. A salesman shows up and feeds me lies and misinformation about the ridge vent being installed backwards. He promises to get back to me by the end of the day with a quote on the repair costs. He never calls and when I try to reach him a couple of days later, he says he is on the road and he would call me right back. He never called. After many attempts to reach him, he never answers the phone. Checking the state license board, their license is under disciplinary action. Really shady, keep away from this company.

It's been 8 months since I had my roof & gutters replaced and they have been great.
Unfortunately, I have to change my rating for Rooftoppers because of a recent interaction with their front desk.

I called about a month ago asking for an estimate to change one of my gutter downspouts to flow into a rain barrel I just received. Spoke to someone who said they would come out in the next day or two to take a look. No one showed up. I forgot about it for a while.

I called again on Monday asking again for an estimate to modify the downspout before a big store was coming into the area.

I was told someone would be out Tuesday. Tuesday came and went and I never heard from anyone. I called again on Wednesday and was told someone would call me today or tomorrow. Thursday came and went.

I called again on Friday and was told once again I would here from someone that day. I called again towards the end of day after not hearing from anyone and was told I'll hear from someone tomorrow.

It's now Friday and I have still not heard from anyone.

I don't understand they can treat a former satisfied customer this way.
I can't see myself ever using or recommending them again, which is frustrating since they did good work.

All I needed was a call back! Anything!

Work done was fine (minor leak that was resolved by sealing around AC unit on roof). Unfortunately they charged an excessive amount and won't provide any details to support the charge. I was told I would be charged for hours worked and material costs. As of 3 months later (and about 10 calls and requests for this information), I still have not heard back from them with any details. Completely unresponsive. It sounds like they don't want my future business and I feel the same now.

Called Rooftoopers to provide a ""free"" estimate for a residential roof leak where the root cause was already identified. Nice gentleman came out a few days later, assessed the roof and spoke confidently about the process to repair. I had spoken to several roofers previously, so I was ready to go with Rooftoppers but I never received a quote, I took it as a sign to select another contractor.

I am a woman and a homeowner in my 70's. It is always challenging to have home repairs done. Recently, I contacted 5 roofing companies to repair leaks in 2 sides of my roof angling towards each other with a leaking valley in between. Unfortunately, fear and intimidation were part of the solutions and estimates - ranging from yelling at me that ""I need a whole new roof"" when the roof is only 5 years old to telling me "" I need to sell my house!""
I then decided to go out of my area and contacted Rooftoppers, Inc. in L.A. Armando answered and could sense my frustration. In a calming manner, he reassured me that he could remedy the situation and at a fair price.
Victor arrived the next day for an appraisal. He also had a calm and trustful manner. Armando sent 3 of his best roofers, finishing the job in 1 1/2 days and concluded with a 3-year warranty. Rooftoppers exhibited honesty, integrity, and good workmanship without extreme solutions!
Rooftoppers proved that it is not just the transaction but the whole experience that makes a job professional!

We have had a chronic leak in our flat roof.
After several attempts at ""patching"" over the past few years, we decided to get the professionals to take a look. Fernando came out and provided us with a repair plan. The quote was reasonable and there was no delay. I was provided photos of the work in progress which was very nice since the roof is not visible from the house. I could verify the work performed. I was promised a two year warranty which is fair since he was repairing someone else's work.
Overall, extremely pleased. I am confident if we do leak again, Rooftoppers will be there for us.
