I completely agree with Nike M and Roberto H. I've had the same exact experience. I can never get a straight answer, its always an excuse with him. I text him to give him time to look into it and respond and he doesn't even have the courtesy to respond. I honestly don't know how he runs a business like this. I approved the contract August 17 and I'm still waiting for him to give me a date.

We found Rooftop Solutions through Ygrene. Should have known from the start that we were going to have problems. Please BEWARE of using this contractor. He's a BULLY and does NOT keep his word. Paid more than 17k for a new roof and they were leaving a whole piece of rotting wood I guess to save $$. It wasn't until I called them on it that they changed it. I'm scared of what I didn't catch. Update: June 2020 Less than 6 months from having my roof completed and now have a leak in my roof. Contacted Claudio via text to advised and he asked me to contact him in writing so I sent him an email to the email address on his business card. He then tells me to send him a letter by mail. Sounds like he's going to make this process more difficult. Definitely not making things easy to correct the issue with my roof. Sounds like he has no interest in getting things fixed and just wants to give me the run around. Avoid this contractor.

Absolutely horrendous service! Contract to replace a roof was signed Mar. 2017 and they did not finalize it until Oct. 2017. It was nearly 8 months to finish a roof! Even after the fact of changing financing to Ygrene, that only accounts for approximately 1 month. They started and halfway through decided to disappear! Roofer claims weather but even in Miami, it doesn't rain that much and that consistently. As a result our home suffered damages to the interior due to long time taken. Rooftop claims, that our agreement does not hold them responsible for those type of damages, but it should of been common sense (or at least pro-active customer service) to protect this kind of investment and prohibit further damages if at least make an offer for a temporary solution. Now we are looking at an additional 8K in damages. To add insult to injury, they decided to send our final amount just 5 days after it was finalized by the county to a lawyer and creditor because they wanted immediate payment, even though his own agreement does not have payment terms nor was this type of urgency shown before. No communication, no accountability, and no reliability! I have all emails and text messages attempting to constantly reach out to them with no responses in return for prolonged periods. His only interest in our matter was collecting and not our well being.

UPDATE 2018: Less than a year after the completion of the roof, we had a leak. Wanting to have a positive relationship with Rooftop Solutions, we reached out to them but his initial response was not wanting to work with us at all. After our conversation, I asked him if he could please respond his exact reply via email. Rooftop did respond via email, it was the details to the warranty of our agreement. Stated that, because the work was finished in August 2017 and a named storm occurred in September 2017, the warranty is voided. Mind you, the roof was actually not completed until October when the county approved their work. Rooftop claims to have finished in August, yet no type of communication was ever sent to my wife (the property owner) formal or informal. Ended up having to have another roofer fix the leak at which point they commented ""it was never finished appropriately"".

-Emailed Rooftop on June 14th, received warranty response same day,
-We replied June 15th with trying to further understand the warranty
-Rooftop replied June 16th for a goodwill gesture in removing review on Google (this review)
-June 21 google review removed to meet goodwill gesture and further inquiry into the warranty
-June 24th followed up on our part
-June 26th followed up on our part again
-July 5th followed up on our part again and received an out office reply stating they will return July 9th.

It has now been a week from their date of return and still no reply. They have no interest in working out an amicable solution for both parties. I have a complete timeline of events for the portion of the roof replacement as well and it similar to the events now, no communication. We tried to reach out and work this out in a professional manner but they have no interest in doing so.

we had Claudio from rooftop solutions give us a fair estimate for our roof.. He and his team were very organized and on time..We have the best roof in the neighborhood..We went through hurricane Irma with out a problem. I would use them again for our roofing needs..Keep up the good work Claudio

Most importantly the people that I referred to him were happy with his service. I live in Pembroke Pines and have been dealing with Claudio. Though my roof repair is now finished, it was relatively small, which I suspect is why I had to continuously try to contact him to get service done once the deposit was made, I shouldn't have to track him down to find out when the work will be done and threaten to take my deposit back if it's not. Status updates from a roofer to the customer should be a given. It's simple professionalism. Once the service was done, Claudio was sure to reach out, numerous times, to collect the balance on the bill. Even on the day Hurricane Matthew was upon us. Amazing how things change when we walk in the other's shoes.

The owner is very involved and always makes certain the highest quality work and material is delivered. We definitely would recommend Rooftop Solutions for any roofing needs. The work is clean and the workers keep their work area clean as well...huge plus in this industry. Highly recommended.
