I have used Roofing Unlimited twice for a new roof - once in March, 1990, and once in May, 2020. I remembered Luis Lara's name and was thrilled to find his company again. He did a great job the first time and everyone that got in my attic during the 30 years commented on the great condition ie. no leaks or problems. After 30 years, I needed a new roof and Luis and his team did a great job again. It took 2.5 days and they were always on time and professional and one of the roofers worked on the first roof as well! That was so impressive to me. Luis came everyday to check on the progress and e-mailed me pictures. He also had ideas on what type of shingle would be best for the roof. I am very pleased, once again, and highly recommend Luis Lara and his Roofing Unlimited team!

We were very impressed with Luis and his team. They took pictures of all of the places that needed repairs, prepared a detailed quote, and then sent pictures of all of the repairs with clear explanations of each photo. The price was very reasonable as well. After trying out several roofing companies, we are definitely sticking with Luis!

People, Luis and his crew are true professionals. They were true to their word, timely, courteous, reasonable, and reliable. I had contacted contractors that could not even live up to their word concerning a quote. Luis was prompt and attentive. It is obvious that Luis' 48 years of experience are exactly what any consumer of a new or roof repair needs. His crew finished the job early, they thought that it would take a day and a half, but the job was completed by the end of the day. The job site was left clean. Luis was quite considerate to answer ALL of my questions regarding the invoice and in the end I was quite pleased with the entire job. I would have no problems recommending roofing unlimited to anyone.

Luis was extremely professional. I needed to get some repair work done for my mother-in-law who is on a fixed income. He came in, gave us a written proposal, no hard sell for more that what was needed and did the repairs timely with no additional cost even though he had to buy 4 additional tiles. I had 5 roofers over to look at my roof and only Luis felt he found the problem. Once we agreed to do the repairs it only took him a few days to come over and make the fixes. He fixed what we talked about and even plugged up a few holes made by some nails. I am very happy with the service and response time.

If I could give six stars I would. Their knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail (including clean up) are outstanding. Luis and his excellent crew reroofed most of our historic house about 7 years ago, and did an amazing job reconstructing the original 78-year old tile roof (only better - no leaks!). It was a fantastic amount of work, and we couldn't be happier with the result. They have been back a few times for upkeep, and just finished restoring the remainder, again with results that exceeded my (often unreasonable) expectations. The roof was just inspected (house is in escrow) and the nit-picky inspector - paid to find problems - found zero things wrong with this 1929 roof...wow.

If you need your roof done right, these are the folks. Luis pays his crew a living wage, the true cost of doing business the right way. Their work may be more expensive than other outfits, but I'm proud to support this business model and certainly it works given the quality of the outcome. Wish more service businesses operated like this one, it's golden.

I give Roofing Unlimited my highest recommendation. Owner, Luis Lara, is a perfect gentleman, has been a roofing contractor for over 30 years, and is a perfectionist.

I chose Roofing Unlimited to replace my roof over three other bidders, because Mr. Lara from the outset took a personal interest in my roof as if it were his own. He and his long-time crew chief, Amador, inspected my roof carefully, provided me with a thoughtful analysis of what would be required, and were responsive to all of my many questions and concerns. Mr. Lara then submitted a proposal and cost estimate that was detailed, thorough and competitively priced.

The job was complicated, because the existing roof consisted of composition shingles laid over wooden shake shingles. All of that had to be removed, and the roof battens had to be covered with OSB sheeting. I was particularly impressed that Mr. Lara's proposal recommended OSB with a radiant barrier and recommended 15 low-profile roof vents to keep the attic beneath the roof well-ventilated and cool.

From start to finish, my existing roof was removed and replaced with a beautiful new composition shingle roof in only three days. Mr. Lara visited the job at least once a day to ensure that it was done properly, to provide refreshments to his crew, and to determine whether any additional materials might be required. Before leaving my house every day, the crew carefully cleaned up all debris and unused materials. Mr. Lara walked the roof personally after completion to ensure that every detail was to his satisfaction.

Again, I recommend Roofing Unlimited without qualification.
