Roofing & Siding Smiths

We first contacted Roofing and Siding Smiths for installation of seamless gutters all around our house just after we bought the place back in 2019. The work that Zach Potts and crew did was excellent. We were very pleased with their work. This is why, when having to replace our roof from recent storm damage, we called RSS to the rescue.

The first person we contacted was Christina Money. She keeps the place running. She sent Colton Murphey out to determine the extent of the tornado damage. But here's the thing, our chimney was severely damaged where it was ripped off and flattened up against the house's second story. It was just sitting there waiting for some major gust of wind to come along and take it off the roof where it would tear into the first floor windows. Colton didn't have to do it, but he climbed up onto the roof and helped me get that chimney off the roof before the next storm hit that night. We were and are very thankful for Colton's efforts.

Next came the roofing crew. They were led by Richard Key and Ilias Tovar. They showed up bright and early worked nonstop till the roof was completely repaired. And boy does it look fantastic. When complete they took extra care to insure the yard was free all debris. Then they followed that with a complete walk around the house with a magnet wheel looking for any nails that were loose in the yard. Good hard working crew and Richard and Ilias are why.

After the roof was completed, the gutter crew came to work. Scott Mobley and Sam Crabtree made quick work of repairing/replacing all damaged gutters and downspouts. They worked out of a trailer that was stocked with all the necessary equipment and materials to manufacture what was needed. They did a great job.

But back to Christina Money. Christina is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She was always so helpful and cordial on the phone and even better in person. She kept us up to date on all things happening. She called to let us know that the delivery of the roofing materials would be here about 3:30pm and sure enough, they pulled in at 3:30. That may not sound like a big deal but when you live out in the boonies, it is.

We are extremely pleased that we chose Roofing and Siding Smiths to repair our tornado damage. An outstanding crew.

I just finished working with three of the most delightful ""Gutter Guys"" I've ever worked with. As a landscape designer concerned with both aesthetics and functionality, I had some different ideas about downspout placement, IF they could make the gutters slope right with my 'peculiar' downspout locations. Scottie, Somchay, and Dashane were three of the most intelligent and meticulous craftsmen who not only cared that the project meet my objectives, but ""got it"" with the aesthetics. Fortunately River Ranch Construction had perfectly level building lines, allowing the gutters to perfectly pitch to the downspouts without any irregularities. So from meeting with Colton at the onset, to winding up the project today, working with Roofing and Siding Smiths was a totally delightful experience from start to finish! These guys not only represent their company well, but they speak highly of the organization, which is unusual these days.
