I had a complete roof 3-tab 30 year roof installed by Randy Sprague in 1997. After my checks were cashed he never returned my phone calls, made any attempt to fix or replace, address the issues of leaking and loose shingles I have had with my roof. He professes that he did darn hear every roof in my area and when I asked him, ""Do they all leak? or it is just mine"" he can't even respond to that.
I have had several other roofers repair and replace shingles on my roof due to his poor workmanship and they have told me that he and one other roofer on the mountain use ""Staples"" rather than nails to hold the shingles down and over time and the extreme cold and heat that we have in the Big Bear Valley that they will come loose and fall out of place. That is what has happened to my roof and now its becoming a yearly ritual. The first time I tried to contact him was 3 years after the compete roof was replaced and now I just don't bother, he doesn't want to repair his shoddy work but I thought that this would be a good place to voice my opinion of his workmanship. So beware of Mr. Roofing by Staples-Randy Sprague....unless you like to do yearly maintenance on something that's guaranteed for 30 years....A guarantee is only as good as those who stand behind their work...Amen
