There is a reason these guys have so many positive reviews. The owner does the work himself. We had James install a sky light, solar powered vent fan, insulated roof, and new shingles.

James came over to do a walk through with myself and my wife and we discussed many options for insulation and what would work for our budget as well as city codes and permit process.

Everyday James would take pictures of his work and email me the progress for the day and the game plan for the next day.

If you can plan ahead, James is worth waiting for. I wouldn't call anyone else.

I recently reached out to three Big Bear roofers after noticing a leak. The first response was simply rude. The second was kind, but lacked detail. James Costello is the only roofer who followed up with a proper quote detailing the necessary work, and breakdown of related cost. He was prompt, very professional, entertained a number of questions from my husband and me, and agreed to inspect our attic for water damage prior to doing any work to guarantee there wouldn't be additional charges added to the original price quoted. After signing our contract, James and team showed up on the day and time promised. He completed the job (a complete tear down and new roof) in the predetermined number of days without delay, and hauled away all debris and trash (and then some). The new roof looks amazing! More importantly, we've discovered a gem of a roof contractor that earned our trust. Strongly recommend!

Do not bother to get other quotes! James is amazing!! He quickly provided a bid. I delayed, then reached out to him last minute (my bad) He fit me in and got it done. He came on time, did what he said including a repair of my other house for free! Just don't bother with anyone else. Cannot say enough about my wonderful experience. The roof is beautiful!
