I contracted with this company in February 2022 for roof replacement. On February 14, I gave them a $3600 deposit to begin the roof job on April 11. I was assured that the roofing materials (common ones, no special order) would be available. They have jacked me around ever since & keep saying- sorry we have no materials for your job yet their crews are out and about doing other jobs. I've been extremely patient and gracious in spite of their speeches on ""supply chain shortages"" which is their excuse for delaying my job for 3 months. Today is May 19 and Brita, the money taker says she refunded my $3600 deposit by credit card 2 days ago yet still waiting. This morning I call to find out why an electronic credit card refund is taking so long. Brita snaps back with ""call your credit card company "" Still don't have my $3600 back into my account. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. So, AVOID CURRY ROOFING- You WILL WORRY IF YOU CALL CURRY. I have another Sarasota roofing company lined up (who I interviewed back in February too)and the new company is baffled by my questions of ""how's the supply chain for materials"". I'll update this review once my new roof is completed.

Update from Customer on owners response- apparently, ISO board taper material is your ""shortage"". Only a small portion of my roof is flat and needed the taper material. Your company has the shingles and other materials needed for the rest of my roof project. I suggested coming out to secure my roof and doing the shingle portion first (since that is the leaking issue) and coming back later to do the flat portion once the ISO taper board comes in for the flat portion (which is secure now and could wait) but too inconvenient for you to come twice and take care of the customer's needs. I only suggested curry come twice once I'd already waited for 2 months. But poor customer service there too. Still awaiting my deposit refund.

We just had our roof completed by Curry. They did a wonderful job. The team arrived on time and were very courteous. We have a very large roof so it took 3 days. At the end of each day we were emailed an update with photos and detailed info about the supplies used. I was quite happy when the County permit inspector came and shared his positive views on Curry with me. He told me the team does a great job and rarely does he see issues. Obviously, that's a plus!

Roofing by Curry charged $399 to do an inspection on a house I am purchasing. You would think that kind of money would entitle me to a return phone call, but no. I called Craig (the inspector) and then texted him, requesting a a callback, but he never called me or texted me back. That lack of response cost him a job. I did not even ask him to quote me on the reroofing. I gave the job, which is costing $28,000, to Weiler Roofing. Walter Weiler and his office returns phone calls.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This is a highly dishonest company. They bid my roof at $11,400, and I agreed to have them replace my roof. Never once was I told there would be / could be additional charges at the end of the job. They sent me a contract via electronic signing that said total price $11,400 at the bottom. When the job was complete and paid for, I was sent an additional invoice for over $2,500 in additional charges for wood. I was NEVER talked to about these costs before accepting the bid, or while the work was being done. I never saw photos of rotten wood. Then, when I told the company that I didn't think this was right or fair, they had multiple reps call me with threats, called me names, etc. You should explain the potential for extra costs, not unethically trick people with a huge additional bill at the end of the job. Now they have put a lien on my house, because the job that I was told would be $11,400 (and I paid) was billed at $14,000 and I haven't paid the amount they are trying to extort (more than 20% over bid). Steer clear of this dishonest, unethical company.

I had a roof consultant (Richard Sanders) come out to my house to give me an estimate to fix a roof leak. He went up on the roof, saw the problem and was able to fix it on the spot and didn't even charge me! I'm beyond impressed.

I called curry for an estimate on a new roof,I told them to be careful because there were soft spots and that the flat roof is really soft and need new shearing.I got the proposal and talked to Charlie to discuss the estimate.I asked her if the shearing on the flat roof was included and she told me it was because they were adding pitch to the flat roof for better run off.They sent me pictures of the progress and plywood that needed replaced.Once the job was done I was hit with. 6000.00 up charge for 57 sheets of plywood and stringers.The flat roof was not included in original even though Charlie said it was.The pictures only show 38 sheets being replaced.Im not sure why they feel they can take advantage of people.

We live in Sarasota, Fl and recently had our flat roof replaced by Roofing by Curry. From beginning to end the job was perfect. We had at least 10 estimates by other roofers, and Curry came out on top. Their pricing was good, the job done in 3 days, the warranty is the best, and the wind MIT inspection was included. We had questions on a couple of items when the job was completed and Jose the supervisor came out immediately, addressed the issue and had the work completed immediately. Pictures were taken throughout the process to show us exactly what was being done. Excellent company, excellent people to work with.

You can't go wrong with this company. They do a phenomenal job and are so professional. They installed my new roof last year and were excellent to work with. I recently had a minor warranty claim and they wasted no time addressing it. Love this company!

My husband and I built a new house in Osprey in late 2017. Earlier this month we noticed a wet patch in the garage ceiling. We called our builder who immediately contacted Roofing by Curry, the company who installed the roof. The SAME day, we were contacted by Curry and an appointment was made for the technician to come out quickly. Eduardo Maldonado and Tahel Penaloza arrived at our home, on time (unbelievably) and quickly diagnosed the problem. Both technicians were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They answered all our questions and then fixed the roof. Within a week of my call, everything was complete. We are so happy with Curry and our two technicians. We would highly recommend this company to friends and family. Good job!
