Recommended Customer Reviews
I highly recommend Roofer Chicks as I had a great experience with them. We thought we had some minor issues and requested a free estimate. Julissa helped us out and did an awesome job at doing her due diligence, exploring all possibilities, and helped us figure out a solution. She didn't try to up-sell me on anything either. Awesome customer service, as Julissa knew what she was talking about, listened to our concerns, and provided expert recommendations.
Dave H.Very professional and didn't try to sell me something I don't need.
They will be replacing my roof when it's time.
Scott C.I originally hired this business to replace my commercial roof. They sell themselves as an all woman roofing team. I signed a contract and gave them my Visa card number for the deposit of over a $1000. I found out before they did the work that I didn't really need the entire roof done, just a small repair, do I canceled the contract and requested a refund.
I completely forgot about it until I found they sent the refund to my tenant and it took a year to get it back from them. Then they actually changed my account with the credit card fee of $40, after it took a year to get the refund!
No call, no email, no letter. Then I call to discuss it and they leave me on hold until I hung up.
I would not recommend this company, very poor communication
Randy s.I received bids from 5 companies to estimate the work required to repair our replace our roof. A couple wanted to cheap it down and do a fix, which would have been a bad choice on our part. One came in crazy high and of the other two Feller Roofing was the standout, not only due a reasonable price but to the personal attention that was given by our Sales Rep Adrian.
They were great with their communication from start to finish, and overall the work was top notch, and looks great.
I would definitely recommend
I hired Feller Roofing after reading Google reviews, Facebook reviews, and getting recommendations from MONB. I cannot believe that after reading the reviews and paying $11000 that I had the experience I had.
Close to the middle of August, my husband noted an interior wall leaking. I asked Feller to come to give us a quote on the roof repair and they gave me a very reasonable quote on a minor repair, however, I thought to ask the insurance if they would cover any part of the issue. They agreed to a full roof repair and repair to the damage indoors. We have a 6k deductible, so still a chunk out of pocket.. Feller gave us a quote, we agreed and sent them the first half of our payment on 09/25/2020.
They had a crew out on October 9th for our full roof repair. Issue one, day one, I noticed the POLICE in my front yard. One of the crew workers URINATED on my neighbors home. I should have had the whole production stopped there, but I thought, no, no, grace, and let them fix things. Bad call on my part.
The same crew put tarps down on my landscaping, tore up my brand new flower bed, ruined several out of season plants, broke over half of my landscaping lights, and left without the job being completed. It took over three weeks for them to finish the rain diverter and drip edge with very little communication from the project manager or the person performing the repair.
Now, the interior.
I'm no expert at water damage, but I have done some painting in my life and I was under the impression that a mold barrier is supposed to be used on water damage. Nope, the texture people came and very poorly sprayed a few dots on my wall. Then the paint...a month later or so. These guys did a good and thorough job, however, they had to be rescheduled due to lack of communication on the project from Feller. I thought the paint might help make the texture look better but it made it look worse. I emailed the PM and asked if someone would come do a final walk through which they stated was not normal procedure. The guy who gave us the quote came out to look at things inside at my request and agreed the texture didn't look right.
SO. MONDAY (11/30/2020) the texture guys came back out to re-do their job. The paint is not all the way in the corner, there are large chunks of texture sticking out from the wall, and there was still no mold control used on the water damaged area.
I asked for a credit due to our trouble and was offered $200. When I explained that $200 wouldn't even cover the plants from the front, they upped it to $500.
I got the invoice for the total before the work was completed, and no one came to check the finished product after almost two months.
I was so tired of dealing with these people, I paid the rest of the invoice and I'll pay someone else to come do the drywall the right way, and eat the rest of that cost plus the cost of the flowers, lighting, and manpower.
I am incredibly unimpressed and will not be recommending Feller to any of my friends, in fact, I will warn against them.
Randy F.I am extremely disappointed in Feller. Used them for another job 3-4 years ago with no issues, but this time was something else. The repair tech came out and looked at the job and left 10 minutes later saying he couldn't do the job. When asked to provide a certificate of insurance, warranty policy and payment terms with a revised bid, Feller was at a loss to provide same.
The original salesperson left and the replacement salesperson just wasn't up to speed so called the office. The receptionist was unable or unwilling to connect me with a manager to discuss the job. I next received an email with the requested info and it's signed ""Love, Ami"" This was a business letter!!
The owner called me to discuss and I vented all the issues I had encountered with Feller, but instead of saying, ""I understand you are upset, how can I help"", the owner says, ""Are you finished"" once I finished explaining things. That is not customer service! To top things off - they sent me an invoice for the job....and they didn't even do any work.
The total lack of attention by multiple departments, including the owner, is reason enough to go elsewhere -- that's what I did! I used Roof Fix and am happy with their work.
Diana B.I was referred to Feller Roofing (and Ami) through the GAF website. Once I contacted the company, she was prompt in coming to look at the 20 year old composite shingle roof that needed replacement. She is personable, does not talk down to you and clearly explained the roofing process/requirements. She provided a detailed bid. Excellent service at a fair price. Highly recommend if you are looking for someone to replace/repair your roof.
Rick C.I called Feller Roofing because they had some great videos for do-it-yourselfers, like me. I had what I thought was a small issue with a couple of loose shingles that the wind dislodged a couple of years ago. It also pulled off some ridge caps. I was able to easily make those repairs myself.
Fast forward a couple of years and that small issue of slipping shingles became worse. Our house is only 12 years old and the roofers did not nail the overlapping shingles properly (not enough nails per shingle to properly fasten them to the sheeting). I no longer have the equipment to safely walk on pitched roofs and was not about to compromise my safety to save a couple hundred bucks, or buy more stuff that I would use only once.
I contacted Feller while I was at work. Megan got to Wimberley and provided her comments and pictures of all the things her professional eye saw that mine did not. She told me the shingles themselves were in very good condition, but appeared to not be nailed correctly. She found a number of areas with ""shingle slip"" and provided a quote for the repairs. I requested a quote for full replacement, which she was happy to do (for my knowledge when it's time to sell in a few years at retirement).
After receiving the repair quote, which I felt was very reasonable, I was able to pay on-line through a secure portal and then schedule the repairs. Feller is obviously busy, probably due to excellent service and recent storms, so I had to wait a little for them to arrive. Hey, mine was NOT an emergency repair so I am good with that. When I got home after work, I could tell they corrected two obvious problems where shingles were aligned goofy near our front door. I also found evidence of repairs they did that I forgot about where installers for our microwave ISP patched the roof from previous rooftop antenna installation. So they fixed a few things that I did not speak to Megan about. Oh, and they do have a disclaimer about not being able to always match existing shingles for repairs. Well, if they could not match mine they sure got the closest color possible because I can't tell the difference.
Yah, I'll call them again because companies like Feller Roofing don't come around every day.
When we suspected a problem on our roof, we asked for recommendations from our neighbors. Almost every one mentioned Feller. Megan came out and checked, reported only a few loose shingles but everything else looked fine. She nailed the shingles back in place at no charge! I appreciated the fact that she was honest about the roof's condition. We were totally at her mercy. You can be sure we will call Feller back when it's time for another check up, repair, or replacement!!
They replaced about 12 shingles that blew off in a storm. Six shingles have fallen off 13 months later. Contacted Feller and they want $450 to replace them, saying they only warranty their work for 12 months. I understand having a warranty, but I expect a roof repair to last longer than one year and am very disappointed they did not take ownership of their work. If I owned a roofing company I would be embarrassed by such low quality work and would step up to protect my reputation. So, don't use these guys if you expect them to stand behind their work and hope the roof lasts longer than 13 months.
